Guys, it's crawfish season!!! This is my favorite place so far. I love the bold flavor options and the various seafood combos, but my go-to is the crawfish with a mix of Viet Cajun butter and Spicy Garlic butter. It's soooo good! The price is reasonable for the market right now, although you know that everything costs more these days unfortunately. It's currently $8.99/pound of crawfish for the flavor options (as of March 17, 2026). 3 Corn cobs and 4 potatoes are $3 extra for each option. The cashier is helpful and friendly, too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just good vibes all around![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Go check them out because you won't regret it! But get there earlier in the day so you don't miss out!

Came on a Monday afternoon for lunch. We got The Royal Feast, 15lbs of boiled crawfish, 4 big links of sausage, 6 corn and 8 potatoes. Everything was well seasoned, hot and fresh. Tuan the manager brought us all 3 of their specialty butters, a Viet Cajun, garlic butter and their house seasoned butter. I could have drank them they were so good. You can tell Tuan cares about his guests. He's sure to speak with everyone and makes sure you get what you want! We'll definitely be back.

So many new spots, so few that actually season food. This one definitely seasons food well. I had a seafood platter, and my people had the friday special with fish and Crawfish Monica.

Flavorless dry and old boiled turkey neck

The food was trash and it went in the trash!! ... turkey neck flavorless and not tender at all Shrimp fried rice was old with hard shri Gumbo meh the sausage was nasty Winds very underwhelming Boudin was horrible you can tell it's been sitting under a light and wasn't fresh .. I don't recommend anyone to waste their time or money like I did!

First we were on a the big easy music cruise and our first stop was New Orleans and I was dying for fresh crawfish . Googled Crawfish near me , this is one of the locations , read the reviews and that was it ! We totally pigged out ! The bbq shrimp Po boy not pictured along with everything else was AMAZING!! Small place , great and friendly service . If you live here you must go and try it ! Lot of other selections as well . Will not disappoint!! We will miss this place for sure , will be drooling for the Crawfish from afar in Florida !

Food was hot and fresh. Service was fast and easy. would recommend for any first time visitors. I'm from VA and this is definitely worth visiting more than once

    Seafood platter

Best seafood boil I've ever had, I'm from California and would fly here just to have this food again.

Gotta suck the heads - best juice ever and pairs well with a Big Shot.

Loved the flavors!! Great seafood spot and worth going across the bridge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best the crowd from downtown and take the short drive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a cheap Uber/Lyft too!

    Crawfish boil - viet garlic

My friend recommended this restaurant to me for their seafood boil. I'm a California native trying crawfish boil in NOLA for the first time. The service was excellent - came here 20 minutes to closing and Thai was so accommodating allowing us to dine in and stay past closing. I appreciate his friendliness and consideration. He checked on us frequently and encouraged us to take our time. The food was just the way I like it... garlic!! There was the option for traditional crawfish but I just had to have the garlic. Crawfish tasted fresh and flavor was excellent with a hint of spice. The flavor is all in the sauce! Next time I'll try traditional. Some quirks I thought it was interesting they didn't serve tap water. They closed at 7 on a Wednesday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so check the hours before coming. Parking: plenty in parking lot and free I'll definitely be back and bring friends!

    Gumbo and 1/2 oyster poboy.

The traditional crawfish could use a little more flavor but the service was great and the yakamien was pretty good.

French bread they used was like a pillow and dressings were fresh. The gentleman who took my order was nice for front of house service as you just order at the counter and assumabky they package things to go. This worked for me since I was grabbing and going lol. My only take away that was negative in a sense is a preference. They do put a red sauce on the catfish poboy that I can't determine what it was as it didn't taste like hot sauce but like a version of it that was more cumin based and did overpower the fish a bit. I still tore it up though and the fish is worth it. Total price for the poboy plus a bottle drink was $15

I love giving places a chance. In New Orleans, the food bar is set high. This little place with…read morelimited seating, and menu, had my curiosity. Why not... Well, if you're going to push a culture's food, you have to go all in with learning the local ways of preparation. In gist, I have to knock off 1 star for the limited sizes for poboys. Offering out only the 12 inch or the meat on bun just seems wrong, ESPECIALLY if you will charge over $10 for any poboy. It's a poor boy after all! It's New Orleans and it was known for big portions for a cheap price. Granted, that was the way before Hurricane Katrina. You lose another star for not living up to a "fully dressed" poboy. A fully dressed poboy should never feel dry. Also, I asked for Crystals hot sauce on my poboy and you forgot it. That's a culinary sin my good people. Overall, these New Orleans implants did a good job on customer service in regards of greeting and giving you an approximate wait time. Outside of that, they need to write down what customers are asking for that isn't programmed into your computer. The menu offerings are decent, and pricing is set a little too high for my liking. You may feel different. Try them out and let me know what you think. Just letting you know that for me, the poboy was too dry, and the shrimp could have been seasoned a tad bit more.

We stumbled upon J&J on Yelp while visiting from out of town for a volleyball tournament. The reviews were great, and the fact that it's a standalone, independent restaurant -- not a chain -- made it even more appealing. We were so eager that we pulled up before they even opened and waited in the parking lot. No shame. Here's where we went wrong: we hadn't done our homework. J&J is takeout only -- no dine-in. Since we were heading out of town that same day with no hotel room to return to, sitting down to eat simply wasn't an option for us. We had to make the tough call to find somewhere else. But here's what made all the difference -- the gentlemen who opened that morning were absolutely wonderful. Despite our situation, they welcomed us in without hesitation, made sure we had a place to sit while we figured out our next move, and never once made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. When we explained we'd have to leave, they were completely gracious and understanding about it. Warm, genuine, and patient -- like a family member who's just happy you stopped by, even without calling first. I left without eating a single thing, and I'm still thinking about this place. J&J Seafood, you have a customer for my next Louisiana visit -- and that's a promise.

No line, and I could smell the boil from the Main Street! Now, it's still early in the season so it was $8.99/lb but still worth it. Crawfish was juicy, flavorful, with tolerable spice! Listen, this is NOT a dine-in type of place, so get yours and find you somewhere else to congregate lol I love that it's a smaller, family owned business because the customer service is a 10, ALWAYS.
