    We contacted All Seasons Heating & Cooling after having issues with our Nest thermostat connecting…read more The technician came to our home and after connecting the thermostat, went up to the system in our attic as well as to our outdoor unit, and said that we had a Freon leak in our system which would need to be repaired. We did not feel comfortable with this major repair as we weren't experiencing issues associated with this, and contacted another company for a diagnostic visit. The second company did an electronic leak check and also showed me the Freon pressures with my own eyes. We were exactly where we needed to be, and our (3 year old) system had no leaks. This second technician also informed me that our Float switch had been disconnected, and since we only moved into the home 2 months ago, and the Hvac system had been inspected prior to move in, it had to have been done by the All Seasons technician, as he was the only one up there previously. Had the second company not reconnected this switch for us, we would have experienced some major issues in the summer months when the AC kicked on. We feel this switch was intentionally disconnected, and an incorrect diagnosis of a leaking system were intentionally made in order to drum up additional business for All Seasons Heating & Cooling. I contacted All Seasons in an attempt to resolved this issue by having them only pay the diagnostic fee for our second opinion, since we would not have needed them had the All Seasons tech not given us incorrect information. When I contacted All Seasons, they required the readings that I had seen, and not remembering the exact numbers correctly, I informed them several times that I saw the pressure chart on the unit, and I saw the readings, and they matched up exactly where they needed to be, but I believed the readings were 105 and 260. All Seasons informed me that those readings were not correct and they would not be taking responsibility as "technicians can get different readings all the time." All Seasons has shown that they do not care about doing the right thing and admitting that their technician either made an error in suggesting a major repair or did it intentionally to take advantage of us. We are members of the military community and will be warning others of this gross attempt to incur additional, unnecessary repairs, both now, and in the future by disconnecting our Float switch.
