Instead of looking behind the walls, they suggested and conducted an air quality test, which came back negative, even though they knew they should've tested behind the walls. A few days later, we purchased the home and looked behind the walls; we found mold. It was not worth the high expense. I do not recommend this company.

Our insurance adjuster gave us a list of companies to pick from. We chose Pro Environmental because they were local and had good reviews. We couldn't have chosen a better company to work with. We were worried about coordinating between them, a carpenter, plumber and painter. When Butch came, our worries were over. He told us that they would take care of everything, and they did. Memorial Day was coming up and we had family coming in but Butch assured us that it would be ready when they arrived. True to his word, it was ready for our company. Once the repair was finished, we were unable to tell that we had ever had a leak. I only have high praise for the crew that did the work. They did an excellent job of the repair including matching the paint which was a custom color and of making sure everything was as good as the original. I also have high praise for the crew that did the cleanup after construction. Everything (decorations, lamps and accessories) were cleaned and placed back in the position that we had them. The quotes we were given were fair and easy to understand. The total for the repairs were actually less than we had expected. We were totally satisfied with the cost and the work performed. Butch and Liz were excellent and a pleasure to work with. Both were very helpful throughout our repair. We are very glad that we chose Pro Environmental for our repairs. We very strongly recommend them for any problem that you may have.

I was initially hesitant on using Roto-Rooter since it is a large company. But with my specific system no other company had answer except for Roto-Rooter, who everyone from the call center to Christian in the field had an answer or found an answer for me. Roto-Rooter was the ONLY company within the area to send someone out. Christian used his knowledge in the field and spoke with me about the potential problems, pricing, and remedial actions needed within the system. I highly recommend calling Roto-Rooter for any plumbing needs.

*EDITED REVIEW* The morning after I posted my original review, I got a call from roto rooter saying…read morethat that is not how they normally conduct business and the representative I had spoken to the day prior "had a lot on her plate". Which I do understand but i do not think that gives them a pass for what they had said. They then offered to come out and try to rectify the situation. Two people arrived at my house about an hour later and were able to remove the screw and offered to change out the shower cartridge free of charge in exchange for me either editing or taking down my previous review. They also wanted the names from the original review taken down which I have done. The two men that came to rectify the problem were extremely kind and helpful. They showed me the parts along the way and explained what had gone wrong, and even spent more of their time trying to figure out what the bigger issue was when replacing the cartridge didn't completely fix the problem. I would've been completely happy had they just removed the screw but they did more than expected and changed the cartridge out as well. Overall I had a great experience with them and I do believe that had I spoken to either of them originally there would've been 0 issues. I greatly appreciate the effort they made to come and fix the problem, I just wish I didn't take them getting a bad review to attempt to fix it. ORIGINAL POST:I had a plumber out on March 21st of this year as I was no longer getting hot water to my shower. The plumber that showed up was very nice. He told me he was unsure of what the problem was. His best guess was to change out the cartridge in the shower. The price to replace the cartridge was about $400. I asked how hard it would be if I just ordered the part and tried to replace it myself. He told me it was pretty easy and told me I could look up a YouTube tutorial and then he showed me how to remove the handle on the shower to access the cartridge. He let me take a picture of which cartridge to order if I wanted to do it myself. Later that night after he left, the hot water started working again in the bathroom so I cancelled the follow up repair as it was no longer needed at the time. Yesterday, the hot water stopped working again so I was looking into what I would need to try and replace the cartridge and order the parts. Upon inspecting the handle, the screw to access the cartridge was stripped, leaving no way to access the cartridge. I called today to ask if there was anything they could do about the screw being stripped as their plumber was the last person to touch it. I spoke to a lady who told me she would get ahold of a manager and also the plumber that came to my home and she would call me back. When she called me back she told me the plumber said they had never taken apart the handle and that since it was his word against mine they couldn't do anything about the screw. I explained that i literally watched him take it apart and it was really frustrating to have someone lie about something like that. I asked to have a call back from the manager and she told me she would try to pass my message along but the manager has been "in and out". I ended up calling back and spoke to her again to explain that he had ordered a cartridge for my shower and in order to do that he had taken apart the handle to see which part was needed which proves that he had just lied. She then informed me that her and her husband own the company which is also weird because if you are an owner why did you keep giving me the run around to speak to a manager? She said that since I can't prove he stripped it and they can't prove I stripped it they will not take responsibility. I do acknowledge the fact that it had been over a month since they had come out. However, nobody else had tampered with the shower handle since their employee left. I wish the owner had gone about this a different way rather than say "it's your word against his" when literally all evidence points to her employee lying. Why give me the run around to speak to a manager? It makes no sense.

I am writing this to warn other homeowners about my experience with Mr. Clancy's company. I…read morepurchased my home in 2020 and continued a $200/year maintenance plan for a crawlspace encapsulation and dehumidification system originally installed by this company in 2013. After four years of "maintenance," I have discovered the following: Substandard Equipment: According to the manufacturers, the dehumidifiers installed are not rated for crawlspace use. They were inadequate for the environment, leading to uncontrolled moisture levels and severe wood rot. Failed Installation: Multiple specialists have confirmed the encapsulation material used was too thin, causing water to trap both above and below the liner, exacerbating the rot. The sump pump was also installed in a "locked box" that prevents any actual inspection or verification of its function. Dishonest Sales Tactics: Mr. Clancy's employees claimed I had "active termites" and "active leaks." Two independent, reputable companies have since confirmed both claims were completely false. Safety Concerns: I discovered that the company employed an individual with a violent criminal history (convicted rapist) to enter customer homes without any disclosure. When I attempted to resolve this through the BBB, Mr. Clancy dismissed my documented evidence as "junk science" and called me a liar. Despite his "28 years in business," the actual results of his work have caused significant structural damage to my home. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for crawlspace remediation.

My walls are cracking, and my ceiling and walls are separating. GRRRRR! I DO NOT recommend them to anyone!

My washing machine is on the second floor and malfunctioned causing a leak down through the ceiling into my dining room, and I had damage to my upstairs laundry room and ceiling on the first floor. I used A & I both for water mitigation and repair and I'm so happy I did. They were great in communicating pricing, what to expect, and really everything. I ended up having them replace my popcorn ceiling with a flat ceiling and they really went above and beyond. They made recommendations for different things I could do (I never would have though about replacing my air vents), and when it didn't occur to me to replace the big register they painted it for me to make sure it matched the others. Every last detail of what they were doing was included in the quote, so I never wondered what I was paying for. Every single person I spoke to at A & I and who came to my house was friendly and helpful. They left my house cleaner than they found it, which was not necessary but so appreciated. I don't ever want to have a leak in my house again but if I do I will certainly call A & I.
