This guy was extremely unprofessional, filthy hands and ripped-up jeans, coming on to me and touching me inappropriately on my body. (I had to say I had a husband just to get him to back off.) Additionally, he reeked of cigarettes. But the worst and most suspicious of all was that he refused to provide a written breakdown (estimate) of all the work that he had assessed. No written estimate. He said, "Once we have your confidence, and you sign an agreement to hire us, you will get all of that." WHAT?! I posted a negative review on Google, and the owner's fiancé contacted me, wanting to meet with me because she knew I had a recording of my encounter with her employee. She came and wasted my time though. She said that she, herself, was a licensed contractor. She had me take her all around the house, showing her all of the damage, and then she made me wait at least a half an hour until her actual contractor who did the work for her company showed up. Why did I take her around and show her all of the damage, when she is not capable of providing a breakdown of costs herself? What a joke. To top it off, she told me that her company would provide that estimate for me to determine whether or not I wanted them to do the work. I never got it. Stay away from this company.

I live in the woods and have lots of trees to contend with. I love the trees. I love the shade. I love the woods. Most of them, we let do their natural thing, but some close to the house need some special attention. After my first experience with this crew I am confident in the degree of attention they give every single phase of their work, from cutting the trees, ensuring they don't damage septic tank / lines, etc., to dropping the limbs in safe places, preserving surrounding trees, to taking care of their own safety as well as any others around (me!), and cleaning up. They all communicated well with me to ensure they were doing what I wanted done. Two or three of the half dozen or so trees I wanted done in a particular way. There was no "we are the experts; go to the house!" attitude. It was, "we are the experts; help us see what do you want done and lets communicate to plan how best to meet those goals. There ya' go! The entire crew was friendly, helpful, and professional in their approach. I was quite impressed. They conveyed as sense of enjoying their work with trees, which I appreciated. I'm sure I will need tree work every few years and I am confident they are willing and able to do what I need. I would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone who wants top quality work.
