Drop Zone handled a very complex tree cutting project at our home, and did a great job…read more They were very easy to work with from day one and spent time visiting the property and talking through various options that would accomplish our goals in a timely and cost efficient manner. They made sure I was comfortable with the work they were doing and the budget needed to do the work. They also worked with me on the timing of the project because we had some complications on when we could get the project done, and communicated with me every step of the way. When it came time to do the work, they arrived when they said they would, they were very courteous and professional, and did an excellent job within the time and budget they originally promised. Without a doubt I would hire Drop Zone again to work on my property.

Unlike the other guys, Tony walked through the property in advance with me explaining the challenges in getting to the one tree I most urgently needed down; the need to be sure he knew where sprinkler heads and other in-ground objects may be that he needed to avoid damaging; as well as pointing out a couple other jobs that needed to be done, especially one other tree that was damaged and posed a hazard to my house. He gave me a reasonable quote and his crew did a fine job. No complaints.

Con's: I asked if he could do a little better on the price & he came down $300. I asked if he was sure... It said it was fine. After the work was done, that night he sent nasty texts about his "overhead", how much his machines cost, his insurance cost and that he's got " the biggest stump grinder in town".... Whatever THAT means. He didn't honor his word. I gave him the $300 he " deducted". Won't call him again.

Brian was amazing and completed all of the landscaping maintenance I needed done on my rental…read moreproperty. He trimmed the hedges, mowed and edged our very large lawn, and trimmed the trees way down as they were out of control. He also repaired our wooden fence, re-painted our mailbox, and pressure washed our retaining wall. He completed all of this quickly and efficiently and since I live in Arizona, all of the correspondence and payments were done through email and text. He made it easy for me to fulfill my obligations as a landlord and make sure my house was ready for the next set of tenants. I was really pleased with Badger Tree Service…read more Geoff is friendly, listens to the customer's needs and goals, and is professional in his approach. I live in the woods and have lots of trees to contend with. I love the trees. I love the shade. I love the woods. Most of them, we let do their natural thing, but some close to the house need some special attention. After my first experience with this crew I am confident in the degree of attention they give every single phase of their work, from cutting the trees, ensuring they don't damage septic tank / lines, etc., to dropping the limbs in safe places, preserving surrounding trees, to taking care of their own safety as well as any others around (me!), and cleaning up. They all communicated well with me to ensure they were doing what I wanted done. Two or three of the half dozen or so trees I wanted done in a particular way. There was no "we are the experts; go to the house!" attitude. It was, "we are the experts; help us see what do you want done and lets communicate to plan how best to meet those goals. There ya' go! The entire crew was friendly, helpful, and professional in their approach. I was quite impressed. They conveyed as sense of enjoying their work with trees, which I appreciated. I'm sure I will need tree work every few years and I am confident they are willing and able to do what I need. I would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone who wants top quality work.

First contact early summer and asked specifically for lawn cut, weed eat & hedges trimmed. Owner…read moreresponded quickly with everyday estimate $55 and would come by for more precise estimate. After a couple days I had to contact him again to see if he'd been out yet for my estimate. He told me he did a "quick drive-by estimate" & it would be $55 for everything I wanted done. Fast forward to when they came out, they cut the grass front & back, whacked about 10% of my property, which is less than a third acre, and blew off the driveway. He sent pictures saying that the job was bigger than he realized and it would be another $55 to come back out and finish. By now it's been over a month and the grass has grown back & the owner sends an employee to finish the job. I see the truck onsite and then gone but hear no work. I went out to see what had been done & they whacked about 5feet of weeds on the side of my garage. I had no contact from the owner and didn't know whether or not they were gonna come back out and finish. After a week or two I reached out and he said as far as he was aware his employee had finished the job and if I wanted him to come out and take a look he would. I gave up at this point and chalked it up to a loss. It took all summer and my yard looks the same as when it started and cost me twice as much. The owner never reached back out to me and doesn't seem very concerned about the quality of work, but I suppose that's shame on me for still going through with the job after my drive by estimate.
