It was okay that I wasn't there, because the door was stuck open. True to word, technician Brad phoned me from my driveway and told me what he believed was wrong with the door (we agreed). He was there at 2:20! He gave me an estimate over the phone, which I verbally approved. When I got home at 4:15, the door was repaired and he had a new remote control for me. He showed me what he did to repair it. I paid with my Visa the exact amount he quoted me, and he drove away. I was very happy with the service from start to finish. The phone was answered by a real person who exhibited kindness and professionalism. She told me the technician's name, and I could see his photo on the website. They do background checks and drug testing of their employees. The technician was early, in uniform, and very professional. I am very pleased.

We ordered a garage door from A1 Garage Door and had an install date of 5/28/2024. Installer came…read moreand there were issues with the install. The door was the incorrect color and one of the panels was an incorrect size and was causing a gap at the top of the door when it closes. The incorrect size of the door caused the door opener to not be able to be installed. Installer entered a warranty issue report. We were told someone would be out between 8 - 1 on 8/31 to get the correct color/measurements. I called at 2pm and asked for a status, I was told tech would call to provide ETA, no one called and he finally showed up at 5:30pm. They sent the same person that got the incorrect details the first time. He got the correct color and measurements (we assume) and we were told a replacement door would be ordered. We heard nothing from A1 after that date. I contacted A1 on 6/10 and was told that they were waiting on the vendor and they would follow up and contact me within 48 hours as it could take that long for a response. I received NO communication. On 6/13 (72 hours later) I contacted A1 again for an update and again told that they were waiting on the vendor and would follow up again. I was told the new panel was ordered. I explained that we were not waiting on a panel, we are waiting for an entirely new door with the corrected color and the corrected size. She stated that she can't see the full order details. No one seems to know anything about our actual order, if it was placed, when it will be received. I have received no communication from the company to keep up updated on status. I have had to make all contact only to be told that they have no answers. I want the garage door that I ordered - correct color and correct size and installed. We are currently using a garage door that causes a gap and has to be opened and closed manually
