The past 3 times my family of 4 has tried to eat here because the kids wanted some crawfish. Three out of those 3 times we've been told they have nowhere to seat us nor do they know when they could..... maybe 10 people in the whole place with empty tables everywhere. Was told all the tables were all reserved. This place is too small to reserve every table in the place for the entire night! Not a good way of doing business. We will not be back! read more

Got the shrimp sandwich and the shrimp was like Jimmy Hoffa!! MISSING!!. It was like eating fried pieces of batter!! Use larger shrimp!! The mayo slaw lived up to its name. It was like eating straight mayonnaise. The Coke Zero was awesome!! read more

Can I give zero stars?! Most expensive restaurant in Jasper and quite possibly the worst food. Everything is fried. Have heard horror stories about the "fresh" crawfish. I have no idea why this place is consistently packed... Their one saving grace used to be the banana pudding, but I got it a few weeks ago and now it isn't even worth it. This place has been here a hot minute and it is usually busy so we haven't tried, so spur of the moment visit worked out great. There's a bar inside and we were seated right away then got our tea, browsed the menu and ordered. Hubs got fried catfish and I got fried butterfly shrimp. Both were tasty and cooked well. Food was hot and fresh. The ambiance was nice, casual with music in house that was setting up but we didn't stay to listen. Only downside is the server refilled hubs tea and reached OVER my plate which made me mad....Luckily I was almost done but that totally is not how you bring tea back to the table, and reach over the customer when you can just walk beside me and give to him, so rude. read more

We enjoy meeting up with family to listen to music. Not a big fan of their food. Most stuff is frozen then fried. One night there was someone cooking that I guess isn't there a lot at least that is what I got from the conversation. I have to say that night I got a seafood pasta dish and it was the best thing I ever got there (would go back more often if i knew he was going to be cooking). Prices are high for what you get but it is what it is. So far our servers have been great. read more

We had high hopes. I read the reviews about soggy fried food & thought it was a joke. Seriously, everything we ordered that was fried was soggy or had no crisp to it. This place is so cool. Live music on Friday night when we went. The crawfish app is probably the best thing on the menu. Fried shrimp and seafood are usually superb. I had the blackened grilled mahi tonight and it was cooked perfectly. Their adult beverages are a value with their $5 specials pretty much all the time. Appetizer of gator bites were brought out but we had to ask for sauce. They were great and remoulaude sauce was too!! Our shrimp was great but the corn was over cooked and the hush puppies were under cooked. The seafood chowder would have been amazing if it had been hot. It was room temp at best but filled with tons of stuff! The ambiance was nice, we sat outside. The poor girl waiting the patio was running her legs off. So service was a bit slow. We recently went for our first time after hearing great reviews. We went for the Tuesday night oyster special and had the raw oysters for $1 each and grilled oysters for $2 each. They were fresh and very good. We will come back again soon to try the shrimp. Also, they are having a lobster night soon, and we are planning on going to that as well. 1/4/23 tonight was our first night to try this restaurant. Our total bill with tip $101.00 for 3 to eat. I ordered bowl of claim chowder and 1/2 dozen of Oyster Rockefeller. My husband ordered 1/2 lb Fried shrimp with fries and okra and my son ordered bowl of gumbo. 1 water and two sweet teas. 1 appetizer of hush puppies. Server comes back and they are out of clam chowder so I changed my order to 1/2 lb shrimp boil. First our hush puppies was cold. Liked cooked hours before and not even put under a heat lamp. Second the oysters was supposed to be grilled. They was steamed at best, not even oven baked. Sadly they were also cold to the finger touch and worse in the mouth. I had 1 and my son ate one. He says I don't know much about oysters. but I do know they should be really ice box coke or piping hot. You don't play around with room temp oysters. My corn in the shrimp boil was hard. Not fresh corn that is hard but likes cooked over and over and over. You can hear the corn when you tap it with a fork hard. So disappointed. I wanted to like this restaurant. My husbands food was good and my son said it is hard to mess up gumbo. But overall disappointing in the quality of the food. Prices would not be so bad if the food was not old or cold. read more

This was our first time to visit the Crawfish Warehouse in Jasper. Our server was Gracie. She was pleasant and very efficient. The ambiance is nice and the place is clean. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Conecuh Sausage Dog and my wife had the Fried Popcorn Shrimp Basket both were excellent although the sausage was sorta small if was good and there was plenty of ff which were also very good! We will be back to try some other items! read more

I was an out-of-town visitor to Jasper that was looking for another eatery in the area but found it closed due to the late hour (7:50) . Accidentally ran across this place but being a salt water coast dweller, I'm a bit weary of inland seafood restaurants since they don't usually meet my standards. Getting late, I decided to try and I'm glad I did! This place is nothing fancy but I found it fun, lively, friendly and the food I ordered was so good that it reminded me of the unnoticed and underrated, mostly serving locals places that were once common along the Gulf Coast. I only ordered Raw oysters and a bowl of the gumbo and my date ordered the boiled shrimp and all were just as good and mostly better than many of the well known and highly rated tourist oriented places and much less expensive price and a more fun environment too! I have been here multiple times and I really want to like this place but if you're going to go expect to be there for at least 2 hours. The service is really slow. Tried to go last night and they were completely understaffed. Our party waited for 25 minutes and no one had even been to our table to get our drink order and this was after we even asked for a waitress and we even had a reservation. Our bill was over $112. We ordered dozen raw oysters. They were great. Then had some crab claws but were a little over cooked. Still good I guess. I had shrimp po boy and it was awesome. Wife had steak, potato and salad. The service was good but a little slow for the amount of people there at around 11:00. The steak was ordered medium and was totally well done and very dry. Wife couldn't eat it. We did say something about it. Waitress apologized for cooks. When you pay that price for food for two I think it should be done correctly. We had gone few weeks before and food was great. Girl just kept saying it was a disaster in the kitchen. She had to go make our salads so we could get them before dinner and barely had 5 min to eat them before our food came. We will go back for one more try but if bad experience again, we won't go back. Brought an out of town friend down last night for dinner..Arrived at 8...no one there except cornhole...The DJ was so loud singing that we had to sit outside to be able to talk..ordered side order of shrimp and side order of grits...and a PoBoy with french fries ..french fries were cold...didnt eat them ..the PoBoy was ok...My friends food according to her was amazing except for the pickled cabbage which we were expecting southern cole slaw...1 tea 1 dt. coke...my bill was $52.55...I left $7.45 tip on my debit card which totaled 60.00..My friend left $6 cash on table for tip... But this morning $64.55 came out on my card.... Is there a charge that I was not made aware of for using my card??? If so I would have paid cash.... However...$65 dollars for 2 people is a little high in my opinion and the food was mediocre at best....Service was great...
