We did get there very early talking before 10am they were so sweet and amazing still letting us order what was available and answering any and many questions we had regarding food options. Service was 5 out of 5 for our first moment in LA everyone was so kind and made our journey so worth it. We got the crawfish fettuccine with the Crawfish dressing and regular rice and an amazing biscuit. (Honestly I could order a dozen just for the road back) All the food was a 10 out of 5 and so sad I don't live closer as I know I will be dreaming of this food for the rest of my life! They have other food there like a grocery store and really thinking of going back just to buy some for the freezer for when I miss it most. And always like to take a moment to talk about the restrooms and when going to places like that I don't expect the nicest bathroom but they shocked the mess out of me. By far the best restrooms. If there is a way to give a place more then 5 I would give them 10 out of 5 over all!!! Will be coming back!

Well after walking through the door that was held open by Jade who turned out to be our server my attitude immediately changed and I kinda knew this was going to be a excellent experience. My 90 year old dad never goes anywhere without his wheelchair which can come with some challenges but Jade took the time to ensure it was not an issue here and made my dad feel comfortable before taking our drink order I had a coca-cola since I was driving and my dad ordered an ice cold Miller Lite in a bottle and a glass of water. The selections here are many but we had decided before we started driving here we both wanted boiled crabs for sure among a few other things. We both ordered a cup of Chicken and Sausage Gumbo to start served with white rice it was absolutely delicious with a dark roux and very flavorful as I expected from these parts. Then the entrées, I knew immediately I wanted the blue point boiled crabs and shrimp with potatoes and corn cooked extra spicy, even though it's messy being the crabs are boiled live and there's work to get to the delicate sweet meat it's worth the effort especially since these blue crabs were very big which made me very happy. My dad decided on the fried shrimp basket that came with fries and a side salad which made me question his choice since I know he loves crab but maybe the blue crabs was a little more work than he wanted to tackle so I ordered him a side of snow crabs which he loves and is much less of a mess, this made him raise his brow but once the food arrived he enjoyed it all not only because it was so delicious but mostly because he and I were sharing a meal that we have enjoyed all my life. The service here was exceptional I know the place wasn't busy but Jade paid extra to ensure we had the best experience and really catered to my dad making this a memorable experience that we both will never forget. This was definitely worth the drive, the food was fresh and delicious and we both left knowing we will do this again - it was a good day...

I stopped by Green's for lunch today, and I'd say it got the job done, but it's not somewhere I'd…read morego out of my way to visit again. The presentation of the meal was nice. I ordered the daily special: pork tips with mac and cheese, black-eyed peas, sweet tea, and chips on the side. The pork tips over rice were tender and flavorful, but there was a little too much gravy. An extra half scoop of rice would have balanced the dish much better. With just a little more seasoning or spice, the pork tips would have been top-tier. The mac and cheese wasn't my favorite. It appeared to have eggs in it, and the black pepper flavor was a bit stronger than I prefer. I think a touch of cayenne would have given it a better kick. The black-eyed peas were good, although I personally think white beans would have paired better with the meal. The sweet tea was excellent, and the service was one of the highlights. The person at the counter was friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and my food came out quickly. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a local mom-and-pop lunch spot; simple, relaxed, and perfect for a quick bite. Overall, Green's is a solid place to grab lunch if you're already in the area. I'll stop by again when I'm in town, but it's probably not a place I'd take a special exit off the highway just to visit.

After delivering me my takeout order they did not inform me that I had to go and pickup my plastic utensils. One of my orders was a half fish, half shrimp plate. My second order was a shrimp po-boy and French fries. I found a soggy torpedo bun and no French fries. I must say the shrimp alone was pretty good. I would like to think eating at this place would be better than their take out.

It isn't too hot and it isn't just a bunch of cayenne pepper. It's got a great taste and we use it on eggs, burgers, chicken, pork chops and anything else you can imagine. They also have a great selection of pre-seasoned and marinated items which includes boneless stuffed chickens, burgers and our favorite, seasoned chicken patties which you cook like burgers and they are on so yummy! You should also try their boudin, cracklings and bakery items. If you need bread, milk, eggs and laundry detergent of course those are here too, but those aren't what make Nunu's so awesome. Stop in and enjoy!
