My dogs were eager to get out of the park and back to the car. And the door swinging IN pinched my poor dog's leg. He yelped in pain. Poor doggie! I hope they fix that. It shouldn't have a way to pinch a dog's foot or leg. The dog park was clean. And I loved the bench under the tree! Gas was good too.

The diesel fuel island was easy to access as well as the exit back onto the short service road and interstate. The fueling pump area was pretty well maintained and the staff was friendly although there was a wait at the fuel counter, it seems the staff has many more responsibilities on the truck stop side. Duson is a very rural area so there wasn't much traffic making this a great option - this definitely a fuel stop I'd use again in the future...

On my most recent visit, I got their in house made beef jerky, homemade pork skins, the boudin balls and some jalapeno honey mustard to take home. All of it wonderful. One of my buddies who I was road tripping with, was smart enough to bring a cooler. He bought frozen boudin balls, a few pounds of boudin, some smoked sausage and some sort of stuffed chicken. not really someone who writes reviews but i just wanted to share with anyone that might encounter…read morewith the very rude and disrespectful ladies at this store. i asked a worker to use the restroom she said yes , i seen a sign on the door, but i still went in bc she said i could and the door was unlocked and cracked open. i would assume you would lock it if its out of order but anyway as i was about to close the door one of them yelled at me telling me to get out in the most rudest way possible and said i know u seen the sign on the door. there was many ways she could've told me not to use it but hollering and having an attitude when it wasn't my fault you can't communicate with your coworkers so they won't point people to the restroom. just plain rude and obnoxious. i never said a word back to her and i heard her talking about me to her coworker as i walked out so i will not be returning to this store. as i will let my family and friends know. just unacceptable customer service. if i could rate this 0 stars i would.
