I've never written a review on a gas station before. I'll…read morehave to say that I like stopping at Valero stations usually for the price of the gas. This one was average. On the outside it looks pretty good. It's attached to Miss Mamies Casino. The whole thesis here is the restrooms. The ladies room was completely out of service. I went into the men's room and two out of two toilet stalls were out of service leaving nothing for the ladies. The walls, the floors, the fixtures, the countertop, the appliances, the door and the rubber machine. We're all so filthy. I almost couldn't urinate. And I ldid not have to touch anything except the door handle the walk-in. Once I was in, I was worried how I was going to get out. The only thing that was nice to see is two new paper towel dispensers full of towels. That is particularly sweet because the hand dryer looked like it had been in a gangbang. I wouldn't even touch the handle to turn it on. I hope my description doesn't get this review band. This place should rent an industrial steam cleaner, then replace the ceiling and the old, swollen, formica countertop. The plumber needs to visit and get all those stalls working again. I didn't actually peek in any of the stalls but most places need new toilet seats to. The 20 or 30 and dollar investment can make an old toilet look like brand new. Add a paint job and a spill of bleach to make it smell better, and they will be up and running. The rest of the store was fine.

My receipt had it at 4.99. They can get a tidy profit doing that on various products hundreds of times a day. Otherwise, I like the store. Great variety of food and snacks.

The bathrooms are always clean and kept up! Everything is clean, organized and spacious. The food here is pretty good. I've had several things, and I really like the chicken tenders and the sausage poboy. We have also gotten the boudin balls and breakfast sandwiches. Everyone is always nice and friendly. This is the go to station to fill up!

After listening to…read morea few folks rave about the burgers, boudin balls and crackling I decided to order Regular and a black pepper boudin ball, Half a pound of the cracklings and a cheese burger. Everything I got def did not disappoint.

This is the best Love's dog park I have been to with one major exception:…read more The inner door only opens in one direction (in toward the park) because of a rock there. My dogs were eager to get out of the park and back to the car. And the door swinging IN pinched my poor dog's leg. He yelped in pain. Poor doggie! I hope they fix that. It shouldn't have a way to pinch a dog's foot or leg. The dog park was clean. And I loved the bench under the tree! Gas was good too.

Took the exit off I-10 to fuel the bus, this Love's Travel Stop is located just north of the…read moreinterstate and requires a short jog onto an access road to enter, not difficult but the access road is very rough with lots of potholes and uneven pavement so a very low speed approach is required unless you don't mind having your teeth rattled. The diesel fuel island was easy to access as well as the exit back onto the short service road and interstate. The fueling pump area was pretty well maintained and the staff was friendly although there was a wait at the fuel counter, it seems the staff has many more responsibilities on the truck stop side. Duson is a very rural area so there wasn't much traffic making this a great option - this definitely a fuel stop I'd use again in the future...
