I had ate a total of 4 pounds of crawfish and at first I thought it wasn't gonna be as good because they were frozen but I actually ended up liking them. I went to Crawfish Cafe on a lunch break on a school bus I order 1lb of crawfish there to eat for lunch and got a togo order of wing and crawfish egg rolls due to woking a late night I will have my dinner ready..when I was eating the crawfish I told the girl and boy waiter that my crawfish tasted like I was eating sand or dirt the girl said that she'll get the Manager that never came out..I had to leave I was just gonna deal with the gritt in my teeth..but as I'm sitting here later on ready to eat my wings I take a bite into uncooked chicken in the inside I called and spoke with the GM Robert insisted that I bring the chicken in and I told him I'm working and won't be off till around 11pm and that's my schedule for the week due to I am a field trip driver and our hours are crazy so he said ima give you a number I want you to send me a picture and I'll refund you "because it turned out that he supposedly cooked the chicken himself" well I sent the picture to him and never got a response back so I called him back and asked did he receive the picture due to I did get a response back he insured me he did and that him and Kiet the Owner "What he said he was" agreed that it was definitely pink in the inside from the veins in the inside of the chicken but he argued that its totally normal to see pink inside the chicken and he won't give me a refund because of uncooked chicken..I asked him to speak with the owner Kiet since he had spoke with him about the matter and the owner didn't have the courtesy to call me regarding this matter.. he Implied he didn't have his number but he previously told me that had spoke with him about it.. he lied to me multiple times..if I could give zero stars I definitely would! read more

Walked in waited over 5 minutes just to be seated. Once seated we waited around 5 minutes and still didn't have a server approach us. I started making eye contact with most of the servers and everyone ignored us. Really wish I could have tried the food but the lack of awareness the staff has is ridiculous. Crawfish egg rolls was some type of crawfish dip mixed with rice and cheese. Fried shrimp were small and mushy, definitely not fresh shrimp. Hush puppies were yummy, shrimp fried rice was bland. Husband got catfish po'boy. Bread looked like it had been previously defrosted, crumbly on top, meal was overly salty and sauce was too vinegary. On a positive note, the portion size of fish was generous, thick slices of tomatoes, but the lettuce had all brown edges and was wilted. The fries had some type of batter on it, but were served cold and tasted of just grease and salt. This is a one and done for us. First we ordered toast, we got it burnt and no butter, asked for butter, they brought it melted in a bowl. 5 of us ordered meals, two meals showed up, then 20 minutes later two more meals showed up, 10 minutes later my meal showed up. I got fried oyster and shrimp, when I went to pick up the oyster with my fork all the breading came off. And, everyone was waiting for me to finish my meal. I was so surprised at how good the food was. When we walked in the door, my first thought was how clean it smelled and how perfectly neat everything was. We ordered calamari for starters. I would give negative stars if possible. Where do i start? Our whole experience lasted almost 3 hours in a non busy restaurant at 1:30 in the afternoon. There where maybe 4 tables when we got there. By the time we left there where about 6 tables total. All of which got their food before us. Our appetizers started out great and about 1 and a half hours after we ordered our food came out in parts. One person at our table got his food a good 20 minutes at least before everyone else. Then two other orders came out and after we complained finally the last person received their food about 20 minutes later. He found shrimp legs in his and some of the shrimp had shells. The manager offered 10 dollars off a 102 dollar bill after all of this. Service and management is horrible. Didn't get informed that market price for King Crab Legs is 89.99 . Waiter Kaylee S didn't inform us of the market price and stated that "it's on the board". We expressed our feelings of concern and said we wish we would've known the price as we didn't expect it to be this much. She said "the price is on the board" " people who order this know". We feel disrespected by this answer because we truly didn't know and were basically told we should've look at the board when we didn't expect that huge price. She even said that the price was crazy. The 2.0 sauce was bland and lacked seasoning and the seafood was just okay. We had to add multiple sauces like Tabasco just to have seasoning. The wings tasted like microwaved wings with bbq on top of it. The Mac and cheese was just kraft Mac and cheese. Pretty plain inside but didn't matter. I was picking up. And what I picked up was great. Ordered two pounds of crawfish, seasoned with The Signature (Garlic Butter & Kickin Cajun) house special blend, at $10.34 a lb. My wife -- the crawfish fan in this house -- said the crawfish were good sized and super tasty. She ate 'em all. Also got one lb of headless shrimp, Kickin Cajun style, at $17.24 a lb. Those were for me. Big shrimp!!! I even have some left over. Both those orders were spicy. Glad we didn't go extra spicy or the next level up because spicy hit you pretty good after a bit. Had some of the cajun fried rice, too. Though a little pricey at $12.64, was pretty good. Was real good mixed with the sauces from our crawfish/shrimp. Lastly, I had a bowl of the seafood gumbo. Seemed like more sausage than seafood and don't know I saw a single shrimp in it ... but, in the end, it was a nice complement to my shrimp. Not sure I'd order the gumbo again ... but it was OK. Gumbo was $9.89 for a bowl ... and the bowl ain't huge. Came with some rice and crackers. Total order was $65.44. I was underwhelmed with the size of the bag my full order was in but the girl at reception, who was very courteous, said I should check it. Yep, all there. And, again, plenty of food. Bag was only small because the crawfish and shrimp come in boil bags, which conform to the space they're in and don't take a lot of room like typical food orders do. I'm on the fence about this being 5 stars. But, honestly, it was dang tasty ... so I'm going with 5 for now. We'll definitely go back. read more
