Worst boiled crawfish ever. They were reheated. They oped at 3pm. We got there at 4pm. The insides were cold. They were either dry or mush or dead. I asked the server if they were fresh boiled or reheated. The server said we just open They should be fresh. The crawfish was pathetically bland!!!!! Don't waste your time or money. I was so ready for the first of the season and will not go back!

Stopped here for lunch on the way to meet my friends. I was 25 minutes early so I figured I'd have enough time to grab food, and they said it'd take about 10 minutes to make. I finally decided on the crawfish cheese dip and seafood gumbo, together making a meal. The dip came out after about 5 minutes so I figured another 5 for the gumbo. Then they said it'd be another 5... and I waited... and it took until 12:05 for me to finally get it! That schedule was a bit of an issue, but it was because they were actually cleaning and pulling meat out of the crawfish to insert into my gumbo. So, you know what? I'll take the freshness. On to the food. Granted, I had very minimal food - people were ordering multiple-pound buckets of shelled crawfish with various sides - but here's my take. The cheese dip was a bit salty. Had a decent amount of crawfish in it, probably a bit heavier on the tomatoes and veggies than the seafood, but a decent haul overall. But very salty. The gumbo, on the other hand, was surprisingly not salty enough! I poured the rice in (for some reason was given them separately) and went to town on it, focusing on the Gulf shrimp first, finishing off the rice and roux, then using the bread to soak up the soup and ending with all the crawfish inside. Overall, it was pretty good stuff. Not really exactly the tastes I was looking for, but I value the small, independent, local place with fresh seafood in droves, so I would absolutely never give them less than 4 stars for that. I would just recommend two things:1) better off coming here to sit (with plenty of time) as opposed to trying to get something to go quickly, and 2) bring a bunch of friends so that you can all split one of the large buckets of items and go to town on the crawfish yourself! That probably is 5 stars there every time and I would be willing to try them again with those circumstances. read more

Young lady at the counter was very polite and helpful. I have ordered this for many years. 1 pound of jumbo snow crab, oh and 2 small potatoes and 1 small corn I can't eat. I when I arrived home and saw this one small crab. I called and spoke to the "manager" she said that is 1lb. I understand prices have increased but the amount I paid not counting the tip I left for take out this is ridiculous. You have lost a faithful customer. read more

Oh my. The seafood was wonderful. We had the 48.00 combo of 3lbs crawfish, 1 lb crab legs, 1 lb shrimp with corn, potatoes and sausage. 2 of us were eating and we couldn't finish half of it. The spice was perfect. Crab legs were nice sized and had very good flavor. Shrimp were big. Crawfish were a little small but tasted great. Service was impeccable. Didn't have to wait as we came in before the dinner rush. By time we left there were over 25 people waiting. I'm really picky about my boiled seafood but they did it right. Will be back. read more

Ok the only reason I'm not giving five stars is my boiled shrimp was super hard to peel..I should've sent them back for more. The service was great and I have to say some of the best chicken and sausage gumbo and potato salad I've ever had. I will definitely be back and next time I'll try the crawfish. read more

I'm a server myself and completely understand we live in a world that almost every restaurant is short staffed. . But i dont get how you can only have 4 -4 top tables and be so slooooowwww. Also, how in the world at 2pm you are out of grits and then it takes 40 minutes to cook the grits. When I asked for an update on the crawfish. All she didn't was went into the kitchen but never came back out. The server had no personality what so ever. . The crawfish were salty. And you were also out of spinach dip but still offering to sell the threesome appetizer without a sub. Several tables were frustrated with the low enthusiasm of the server. I refilled drinks myself for our table. Because lord if we had waited any longer. We would have choked on the salt from the crawfish. I have never written a negative review on yelp EVER. Nice looking place but very limited menu. My husband and I went on a Friday evening just after 6:00. If you want boiled shrimp or crab, you are set! Crawfish was out of season. There are a couple of pasta dishes and gumbo. Nothing fried, baked, or grilled. We ordered the hot crab dip and a bowl of each kind of gumbo. The dip was not what I expected or had had before. Looked like it had been scooped from a bigger dish and had green onions and some kind of cheese sprinkled on it. It was warm. The toast points were actually tortilla chips. The gumbos were okay but I've had better. The rice was either reheated or undercooked. Plenty of shrimp and crawfish but no vegetables unless very small. Awesome place ,good food, great price..a good 15 to 20 minute wait at a another restaurant in Natchez had us crossing the bridge to Louisiana in search for something comparable found it on Yelp. We bust a U parked the mothership and proceed inside they have a carry out and a sit down place at the same location including a screen in patio soo we had the shrimp and artichoke dip,shrimp cocktail and family combo!!!Sheese it was really good plus our server kept our sweet tea full we've got nothing like this in Michigan we definitely want to return if we're in the area again! This visit was about what was and wasn't available. Apparently crawdads were out of season so those were a no go. My wife wanted fried shrimp and we couldn't find that either. My wife and son had shrimp and crab leg boil which was good just not what my wife was looking for. I had gumbo and it was good. I have passed by this place everytime I visited Natchez. Yesterday my husband and I decided to drop in and im glad we did. The gumbo and potatoes salad was so good, it had the right amount of spice and the roux was delicious. My only suggestion would be that they add fried fish and shrimp to the menu. read more

If youre looking for some great seafood or chicken and sausage gumbo this place has a bowl and it is full of meat and the roux is awesome. The boiled crawfish seasoning is cooked into the crawfish not sprinkled on top. The staff is friendly and the dining room is clean. read more

Food was outstanding!!! It's a very small place for inside dining, and it seems that the locals come there not only to eat but to visit as well. Arrived at 6 pm and no inside dining was available until they closed. There outside was open however it was very windy and cold. Husband and I were so pleased with this find! Neat, well-kept little place with outside seating available and a nice, friendly atmosphere. Not being from the south, we were curious about trying crawfish. We asked if someone could show us how. James, the really friendly bartender said "sure"and even brought a few for us to try. The owner, such a sweet lady, came out and spent about 15 minutes "tutoring" and laughing and joking. The crab legs and shrimp we ordered in addition were wonderful. And the prices were very reasonable. Will only be in town another week--but will definitely make another trip in before we leave! read more
