Food - We got hand pies & turnovers. They were so so yummy & the perfect touch to our Thanksgiving dinner! I was able to run in & out & leave with top notch desserts! All local products! Service- absolutely fabulous. I wasn't rushed and went through the entire menu Ambiance - perfect for a date night, girls night out, birthdays or just a night out. Grab drink, stay a while & enjoy a bangin' slice of pie! Family owned. We were pleasantly surprised! Be prepared for the price tag!

Yummy confections and tasty libations await! A sampling of winter cocktails and mocktails along with tasty cookies, pastries and desserts created by Jennifer the owner welcomed the lucky Elites invited to this event. A native of Craven County, (hence the catchy name!) Jennifer creates all the wonderfully tasty baked goods. My personal favorite, the crème brûlée! Located off Rogers Rd in WF, this new dessert bar is sure to be a destination for a sweet tooth or an after dinner drink treat!

The waitress was amazing, she was very personable. The place itself is adorable with the light blue walls. We enjoyed our cocktails, gingerbread White Russian and old fashioned. We ordered desserts to take home. Bothe the cheesecake and crème brûlée were delicious. However, we felt $9 for the tiny portion of crème brûlée was too high.

Stopped in on a whim while waiting for my Ramen. Love the concept.. desserts and booze. Is there a more perfect idea for a ladies night? I wish I'd taken a picture of the most delicious macaroon I've ever eaten. Seriously amazing! I grabbed a mini key lime pie to share with my honey later. I'll definitely be back with the girls!

I stopped by after having dinner and hearing the live music from outside. It was around 9:20 and they close at 10. The staff was friendly and the woman working the front did a great job of explaining flavors/textures of the cakes they had up front. Opted for the smores cake because of her description. Presentation was great. The marshmallow and chocolate layer were my favorite. 4 people could have all been satisfied from this slice of cake, it was massive. We stayed until closing, didn't feel rushed out or anything. The live music was fantastic and added a nice touch to the ambiance. Will definitely come back to try something else as well.

Amazing fancy dessert bar for a nightcap or to satisfy your sweet tooth! They have drinks and high quality desserts. We couldn't get enough of their Baked Alaska and Creme Brûlée. Their dessert menu changes weekly, the creme brûlée was vanilla bean and baked Alaska was cherry vanilla and both were so good. Can't wait to come back soon. Check out @raleating on Instagram & TikTok for recommendations on Triangle food spots!

Wow...Cravin' Confections makes some impressive desserts and supports local businesses. Stop in for cocktails, mocktails, desserts, coffee, cocoa, tea, or all the above! Check their hours before driving over since they are not open everyday, However, they do work long hours, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. My sweet tooth carried me in the door then over to the dessert counter. The hot cocoa bomb immediately caught my eye followed by the macaron tree. Nothing is labeled, however, the friendly employees answered all of my questions. The available items do vary by day and change with the season so that may be why they are not labeled. I decided to purchase the irresistible hot cocoa bomb, glittery macaron tree, and a flaky apple turnover. I was surprised at the price as it was cheaper than I anticipated. So far, I have enjoyed each of the creations and recommend this dessert bar to others!

Deconstructed brownie

We had the most delicious drinks and treats here! We will absolutley be back. The deconstructed brownie, vanilla with orange butter cream, chcoclate cake with orange bhtter cream, and the pecan pie were all phenomenal!

We couldn't decide which was better, they were both delicious, not at all the cafeteria restaurant soup we almost expected, but very homemade. $5 a cup, but $3.90 since we ordered lunch menu items. Well worth the money! Lunch was Fish 'n Chips for me; super good crispy fried white fish, not greasy at all, which is the sure fire way to ruin any fried meal. The fries are really good, too, almost McDonaldy. Comes with tartar, ketchup, malt vinegar (asked for), and a really good garlic aioli. Hubs had Shrimp Risotto, which was blackened shrimp over really creamy risotto with red peppers, scallion, and tomato. Delicious. Also couldn't decide who got the better lunch. Our lunch specials were less than $15 each, a bargain today, and we each took half home. Hubs also had a beer, and I had the house Cabernet, which was really smooth. Around $50 for everything; didn't mind spending that at all since everything was so good. Really glad we found this newer place; fingers crossed it doesn't go the way of so many downhill the longer they're here.

Tried the Fajita Quesadilla. A beautiful and well stuffed quesadilla is grilled then quartered for the plate. Served with rice and shredded lettuce, guac, pico and sour cream. The portion is big, it's served piping hot within minutes. Margaritas are cold and well mixed - not too strong, not too weak. Shout out to Luis, who took care of us. He is super-attentive, charming, funny and pleasant and does a great job. As an example - we split our entree... and without being asked he brought an extra plate. This might not seem like a big deal, but somehow this nearly never happens unless we ask. Great work, Luis - thank you! This may well turn out to be our go-to Mexican spot in town. GO!

So we tried the one in Heritage Commons - COMPLETE GAME CHANGER! The food and drink was even better because the staff was friendly, engaging and efficient - and the decor and ambiance wa-a-aay more pleasing and comfortable. I got the exact same things - margarita, wings, and carne asada burrito - the tastiness and presentation of the margarita made my eyes roll back in ecstasy - and the food was delish. I've seen other Yelper's reviews, mostly positive, and gotta tell ya: GO EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF - you won't be disappointed. Very affordable, relaxing and unpretentious - the robot server was a nice surprise and perfect accent. GO. SOON.

After running errands, we drove just six minutes to El Chapin, a Guatemalan restaurant. Forget Tex-Mex--this is a completely different Latin cuisine experience. The two of us spent $76 (including tax and tip), but we intentionally ordered extra to take home leftovers. Parking was easy, right out front, and the restaurant itself is spacious. Since we arrived just a few minutes after opening, we had the place to ourselves at first and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and very helpful--the server even suggested we might have ordered too much food (he was right, but we didn't mind!). Here's what we tried: Plato Chorizo y Longaniza - a sausage platter with salad, rice, refried black beans, and two delicious housemade corn tortillas. Pollo Adobado - marinated chicken with rice, salad, refried black beans and two housemade corn tortillas . Ceviche de Camarón - fresh and tangy, though light on shrimp, which tasted a bit tough Fried Plantains - perfectly done, sweet, and satisfying. Plus, I had an unsweetened iced tea with lemon. The highlights for me were the flavorful rice (with vegetables mixed in, including carrots and squash), the marinated chicken, and the sausages. The plantains were also excellent. The ceviche had great flavor but could've used more shrimp. The only miss for me was the salad--generous in portion but iceberg-based, so a bit bland. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, not heavy or greasy, and we left with enough for another one or two meals. We'll definitely be back.

It's a typical Mexican restaurant menu, with all of the standards - tacos, burritos, etc. Warm chips and house-made salsa are served at seating. Drinks from the bar are huge. One of the specialty drinks needed re-made because it just wasn't right, but the margaritas are spot-on. Portions are big, food is fresh and served piping hot. Stuffed jalapeños were pretty good, but not sure they are house made. The shrimp burrito is STUFFED with plump, flavorful shrimp and vivid pico de gallo. Refried beans, rice all very good. Definitely will add to the rotation.

Our waitress was awesome, she was friendly and quick with the service. We ordered a couple of drinks and they were delicious. Unfortunately, those were the only two things we enjoyed about Aye Toro. The food was extremely bland, almost flavorless. When my husband and I took our first bites, we both looked up at each other and both knew exactly what the other was thinking. There was no spice, nothing. Mexican food is supposed to be flavorful but this was like...boiled chicken without the spices. For $17 for a plate of bland food, I was super disappointed and felt like I wasted $80 for the night (two meals and two margaritas with a 20% tip). When we come back for trivia, we might stop by for margaritas beforehand but I can't imagine Aye Toro staying in business if they keep serving flavorless meals. I know this review is harsh but spending that kind of money on this lackluster dinner is even harsher.

We paid a premium price for six macarons, and every single one was bland or tasted completely off from the advertised flavor. The mango tasted like sweet cardboard, the chocolate had almost no chocolate flavor at all and tasted stale, and the raspberry wine was the only one with even a hint of flavor, but you still wouldn't know it was raspberry if nobody told you. On top of that, the smell inside the shop was overwhelming. The second we walked in, it smelled strongly like chemicals or perm solution, which should have been our warning sign to leave. I hate leaving negative reviews for local businesses, but when you're charging luxury pastry prices, the quality needs to match. Unfortunately, these macarons missed the mark completely.
