Crave is a solid popcorn place. The shop itself is filled with old school candies and lots of chocolates and things, but popcorn is king here. I'm a woman who LOVES her bourbon and truth be told I snagged this here little refreshment at my office yesterday, following a meeting. I could tell it was caramel when I made my choice in a grab and go treat but didn't realize until later it was bourbon caramel. One word: AMAZING! Who knew popcorn could come in so many flavors. You can try any flavor they have and they have a wide range of flavors for all types of taste buds. Sweet, salty, savory and even candy coated. The shop itself also has a bunch of candy and sodas that you can't find just anywhere. Crave also does large orders for business or even weddings. I read about Crave in Community Impact News Plano and decided to pay a visit. It's a cute little shop, full of freshly popped popcorn, candy and knickknacks sure to appeal to tweens and teens. It's a family owned and run place - a great friendly local business. You can ask for tasters of the many popcorn flavors to be sure you're purchasing what you'll like. And you can purchase small (for 1 - trust me - there's no sharing), medium (for 2-3) and large. I haven't had a flavor yet that I don't like. The spicy flavors are very spicy (yum) and the most surprising favorite in our house is the dill. We've now gone several times to Crave and love it. We enjoy purchasing 3-4 bags to serve during movie night. If you'd like to try them out, a good way to do it is to cut out the free small popcorn coupon that seems to be in every monthly issue of Community Impact News Plano. read more

I got an XS bag of a rainbow type mix. The official name is "Roy G BIV." He told me red is strawberry, yellow is banana, and I can't remember the rest. Also got a Small bag of the Chicago. It's actually pretty tasty, however, it's not mixed. It's more layered on top of each other in the bag. That can be solved by pouring in a bowl to mix it up better. They also have lots of bottled sodas and candy. I saw M&M's sorted by color, nice if you're fond of one in particular (I like the green ones). I couldn't resist when I saw the little packs of 'kits', hadn't seen those in forever! It's located in the same building as Bread Winners Café, near the back. It was my coworker's birthday and although we usually opt to get people chocolates or flowers, I knew that her guilty pleasure is popcorn. My intentions were get to this plaza for Sur La Table and possibly some gourmet popcorn kernels for a basket, but stumbled upon Crave. When you walk in, a gust of popcorn deliciousness hits you in the face. You can tell they're working hard in the back to crank out all those holiday gift orders. A young lady helped me put together a set of three popcorn bags on the spot and even wrapped it up beautifully. Crave will definitely be on my list of places to hit up for future gifts. I drove by my favorite popcorn place only to see that they were permanently closed. So sad. I sat in the parking lot and searched Yelp for the next best popcorn place and that's when I found Crave Popcorn Co. Crave is actually closer to my new place so I was excited about that. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly lady behind the counter (I can't remember her name). I told her this was my first time there and she let me sample the old fashioned butter, non butter, cheese and carmel. All four were delicious but I decided to get the old fashioned butter and the non butter. The old fashioned butter has just enough butter but for those of you that love the movie theater butter, Crave has it too. I was amazed at how good the non buttered popcorn tasted. It only has a little salt. I actually prefer the non buttered and its my favorite. I can't stop eating it. I will admit I have never sampled a popcorn without butter in the past because to me popcorn isn't popcorn without the butter. I stand corrected. The Chicago style ( Carmel and Cheese) is the second best compared to Garrett's in Chicago. Garrett's is my favorite but since I don't live in Chicago I will treat myself to Crave's version. Crave's also sells candy and snow cones. Crave's is family- owned and they make their popcorn daily in small batches. Definitely a plus in my book. My popcorn has stayed fresh for days after purchase. A nice snack to have throughout the week. If you have never been you need to give them a try. Sample the popcorn and grab a few bags. Crave popcorn is amazing. I love their naked low salt, cheddar, and classic caramel flavors. Their popcorn is fresh and I prefer it to other local shops. I was blown away by the customer service. When I arrived thirty minutes before close, they were sold out of cheddar, but they offered to make it for me!! I love going to this cute little shop in Plano! The staff is friendly and the popcorn is wonderful. I've tried the dill pickle, cheddar, rainbow and butter. We saw an advertisement on Facebook for Crave Popcorn, so we decided to take the trek (about 30 minutes) to try it out. Holy. Cow. We are literally addicted! Somehow, they've found the perfect balance of flavor and freshness. We decided to get large (movie theatre, kettle corn, and cheddar) and medium (puppy chow) size bags, and when we saw how big they were when filled up, we thought there was NO WAY we could eat all of it... we were wrong! 24 hours later, and we've eaten almost the entire bag of each one. We thought this was going to be like "regular", "gourmet" popcorn, but, again, we were wrong! Crave Popcorn is literally the best popcorn we've ever had, and we will be making the 30 minute trek again very soon! They also have unique, adorable items for sale for an incredible price. I'm a popcorn addict. It is what it is. I've given up on rehab and instead found a place to satisfy most of my needs. Being a vegan it's difficult find luxe popcorn boutiques (yes it's a thing) that doesn't put butter and dairy products in all of their recipes. At crave there are several vegan options for me. In addition to a perfected kettlecorn recipe they have a vanilla flavor that is simply delightful.
