I'm huge fan of Crave--of all the cookie services with rotating flavors, this one is the best! My favorite cookies there include the Cookie Monster and the cannoli flavors. There's also a very convenient drive-thru! This location usually isn't busy. My main critique is that the one time I came and it WAS busy, it was not a great experience. No one greeted me at the drive-thru speaker for several minutes, so didn't even know if anyone was there. And when I finally was able to order, the staff got one of my cookies wrong. Not a big deal in the long run, but annoying when the service was already so slow. Staff may need better training on what to do when the store is busy. read more

When you drive in, it seems like most people do the drive-thru option. I saw some parking spaces and wanted to check out the inside. The door was locked, but after I turned around to go back to my car, an employee came out and opened the door and said I could come in. They had the new cookies on display, but there was not any information on what types of cookies they were (no names or ingredients). There were also pictures of other cookies they also offered, with their different ingredients. The workers seemed a little confused and I think if I visit again I will do the drive-thru. Yes yes yes! I unfortunately only heard about this store from a recent article about a lawsuit... but so glad I got to give it a try. So much to love. 1. They have a drive thru!! 2. Great customer service. 3.They have another location that is open on. 4. They also do sodas! Combining two Utah faves. 5. Probably the most important SUPER delicious cookies. I don't love the super soft cookies. These are the perfect slightly crispy on the outside, but still soft and gooey on the inside. They held up good the next day too. Crave has the best cookies Utah in my opinion! I find myself going to Crave almost weekly to try a new cookie flavor! The cookies are moist and I haven't had one I didn't like. Thank goodness for drive thru options during this "social distancing" season. When you're craving a hot chocolate chip cookie but have to keep your distance from everyone, this is a place to consider. The cookies are enormous. One could easily be shared between two people. They are also abundantly sweet. Duh. They are cookies. If that's not enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, they also offer a variety of sodas with flavor mix-ins. My favorite was the chocolate chip-I'm a traditionalist, I suppose. The cookies were hot, and I mean HOT! I carried the box on my lap during the car ride home and my legs were red when I got home-more than 20 minutes away. Pair that sucker up with a glass of milk and you've got a pretty good dessert! Happy National Cookie Day, everyone! Is this a real thing? Nah, not so much. Is this an excuse to go eat cookies? Yup, today it sure was. Today they had a deal that you could get a box of 4 for $8. Is that also a good excuse to get cookies? Yes, yes it is. We hopped in the car around 9pm and were happy to see that they are open until 10. It's also the time of COVID and the drive-in reigns supreme. So how great is it to sit in your car and get cookies? Pretty great. The drive-in moves kinda slow, at least it did today. It was darn busy, and you only go in to get your online orders, at least that's the protocol during COVID. So we got in line, and there's a screen with cookie selection on the corner of the building. I'll say that this is the *tightest* drive-thru so if you have a dually longbed, you may think twice. And don't even consider it if you're pulling any kind of trailer. We got to the front of the drive-thru (it's just one window, no speaker/microphone, no one out there taking orders) so you order and they fulfill at the window. We got a box of four, and the clear and big winner is the Rockstar which is a chocolate chip cookie with things like pretzels, different kinds of chips, toffee and a lot of attitude. It was pretty fresh out of the oven and the best of all. The Butter Beer is good, but you really have to love butterscotch. We also tried the raspberry cheesecake which was fine, and the banana one; you have to REALLY love banana. It was a hit with some. They were slammed tonight, but even so it sounds like they're known for longer waits. It seems like there might be some solutions to getting folks their stuff faster--a text service, a call-ahead, or something other than waiting in that drive-thru line only to get to the window for them to start your order. But they're hustling, and they were nice as nice could be. They're less spendy than some of the competition, which is also nice. They're not spending a lot on fancy packaging; it's simple clear clamshells here and a sticker. Big ups for being there on National Cookie Day and getting us our fix. read more

They have some other great flavor creations too and the only reason I'm taking a star away is because they've messed up my pretty simple order before as well as charged me despite me showing them my free cookie coupon. So it took away my active coupon and still charged me full price. They also don't have a phone number to their store so you have to send a message which they probably never looked at because I never got contacted. read more

Not to be missed for your perfect chocolate chip cookie!!! I was not much of a cookie person trying out Crumbl cookies and Twisted Sugar in the past but so glad I heard about Crave in the news. This is the best tasting cookie out of all of them. Shame on Crumbl trying to shut this small business down. I was pretty sad that Straws got sold, but after visiting The Crave a few times now, I'm pretty happy about it. Overall, my experience has been a lot better. And man, the cookies. The brookie is to die for. The coconut crave cookie is so, so good. They also did a Cinnamon Toast Crunch snickerdoodle that I loved. My only criticism would be for them to get more eco-friendly packaging for their cookies. But maybe I can just ask for it on a napkin or bring my own container? If you want a soda, you can grab one of those too. But really, just get over here for the cookies, ASAP. read more

I have to give it 4 stars because the one cookie I wanted was gone. The rock star cookie but I guess that is a good sign. Of course we had to try some we drove out there. I will break it down. The sugar by far the best sugar cookie from all the cookie places. The frosting had real butter in it and it was soft with no hard edges! Chewy and good. Chocolate chip was awesome you could taste the brown sugar and the milk chocolate was meaty. Really like it. The snicker doodle cinnamon toss crunch was so good!! Warm and gooey and chewy. Wish it had a bit more frosting on it for the drizzle The coconut cookie was okay. You can tell they use real ingredients because the frosting has a lot of zest and tinted green. I don't know where the breakdown occurred, but Uber Eats wasn't able to provide a satisfactory resolution. I understand that it takes additional manpower to have someone answer phone calls, but I do wish they'd implement this service like their competitors. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Crave again knowing they will happily resolve any issues. Original review follows: Crave Cookies uses Uber Eats, which is an abysmal delivery service. My very first order was missing a significant portion of what I paid for. Normally I'd consider this a minor inconvenience, but Crave doesn't have telephone-based customer service available. Instead you have to leave a message or send them an email. Really disappointed in my first experience and still waiting for Crave to return my voicemail. read more

Crave Cookie is a sort of mash up of Swig and Crumbl or Chip or whatever. They offer three varieties of giant cookies: chocolate chip, coconut lime sugar, and a weekly special. On my visit, the last was snickerdoodle topped by Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and a generous drizzle of white chocolate. They are also doing the whole dirty soda thing, but that's not my jam, so you'll have to look over the menu to see if their offerings appeal to you. Crave is nice because you can order inside or via their drive thru, and starting July 29 they'll also offer delivery. They took over the spot previously home to Straws (entirely new owners), and if you've been there before you know it's a bit of a tight space. Fine if you are the only person there, but it can get a little crazy with even a couple cars, especially if they are not all in the drive thru lane. There is seating outside and a few chairs inside, but I am sure 95% of customers take their treats to go. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, quickly glanced at the menu and noted, in addition to cookies and sodas, the option for a cookie milkshake. This is smart, but only available with vanilla ice cream (womp womp). They also have warm soft pretzels: plain, with cinnamon and sugar, or cheese dip. So they do stand out from their competitors based on variety. I ordered one of each cookie, but at $3 each, was informed for $1 more I could do a 4 pack. I see what you're doing, Crave, and you got me! The sugar cookies are served cold, the others are served warm, and all were placed in the same thick, high quality box. Thus, you've got some opposing temperatures if mixed, so unless you're eating everything right away they'll sort of cancel each other out. I'm not complaining, though. I wouldn't want to be wasteful with a separate box for each temperature (just typing that sounds ridiculous!). The chocolate chip is made with milk. I loathe milk chocolate, but felt I had to give it a fair shot. I think they use Ghiradelli chips, and these tasted better to me than some others, but it's still not a cookie I would repeat. The sugar cookie is quite refreshing, and I do like that they went ahead and added additional flavors besides just "sweet" (though it is, indeed, very sugary). The icing, in particular, is very strongly flavored of coconut. The thin slice of lime on top is cute, but would be better as a sliver, 'cause ain't nobody eating that (I actually saw two on the ground in the parking lot. I tried to eat some with a bit of cookie, but it was too thick to bite in half, so then I was just chewing on plain lime). Snickerdoodle was okay, but seemed a little dry. Everything was underbaked, and I vacillate between preferring that and fully baked. I think in the end, I like par baked homemade cookies, otherwise not so much. They also made my throat a little itchy, which happens when I eat cookie dough, I think from the raw flour, so not sure what that's about, but it's interesting to note. I don't even know why I went here. I haven't particularly enjoyed any of the copious cookie bakeries taking over. And I don't drink soda. It was just something new and exciting, I suppose! With that said, if you are a fan of those shops, I have no doubt you will love Crave as well. read more

Crave is de-lish! As opposed to many of the soda stop+cookies on the side kind of place, Crave is a cookies+sodas store! The delicious smells meet you before you've even reached the front doors, and the cookies are so big you'll go home with leftovers. It's basically like if Chip sold individual cookies. So you get to choose the amount you want, and they're just as big, warm, and soft. There are only a couple of tables right in front, and a busy drive thru (probably due to the lack of seating area). You'll find warm and helpful employees happy to wait for kids to make up their minds on the type of cookie they want, and they're fast with the delivery of orders despite the business! read more

Driving through the hood and felt snackish. I thought I had seen a sign for pretzels so drove through Crave. They did not have pretzels (my bad not theirs) so I "settled" for a box of 4 cookies for the fam. Having been to several of the assorted cookie places, I didn't expect much. But their cookies were great. The drive-thru was fast and the cookies were HUGE and wrapped in cute, simple packaging. They rotate their menu weekly, so be warned your favorite may move off and on. Hubs had a peanut butter cookie that was still warm and fantastic. All the cookies were fresh. I had a Flintstones I think it was called. Basically fruity pebbles in a cookie, which sounds extra I know. But it had cream cheese icing on top which helped cut the sweetness. This is by far the best cookie place in town. I'm normally a crumbl or goodly fan but Crave is really something special above all the others. Though every cookie place in town has its own specialities, Crave has true artists making these cookies that truly understand the delicacy behind flavors, texture, presentation, and quality ingredients. You can taste the difference and there's just nothing like this place anywhere else at all the other cookie shops. I wish they would open a location here in South Jordan/ Daybreak area because they would kill it out here. But I will happily drive to Midvale for these guys any day because they are very well worth it. FANTASTIC cookies! The are soft and so fun! The parent trap was filled with oreo and peanut butter and my tastebuds exploded! The peanutbutter offset the sweetness from the actual cookies and oreos. We also got the Horchata cookie which was also amazing! Soft and gooey with a cream cheese frosting which was more of a whipped frosting. Delicious. I grabbed drink as well, one of the mountain dew drinks and let me tell you, the only word I can use to describe it, and I l know or sounds silly for a soda, but, FRESH! It was so so fresh. If I was writing a review on the cookie alone, I'd probably give this place 5 stars. But you all want a review of Crave--the shop--itself. So 3 stars is my generous answer. The first thing you should know before driving to Crave is that you absolutely CANNOT change your mind. Meaning, once you turn into Crave there is literally no way to get out without going through the drive-thru. And that drive-thru is not fast. Its not even going to move at a "mosey." It. Is. Slow. Apparently the business model of having one single employee work the drive thru, take the order and payment, and then go through the motions of making drinks, getting pretzels and/or cookies...is a good idea? Crave = SLOW. That being said, the cookies are good. Overpriced, probably, but also good. I'm not going to hurry back anytime soon (I go literal months and months between visits) because the memory of the desperately slow drive-thru and the horrid feeling of being trapped behind a cement building is just too close. The drive through is a little wonky, the menu board isn't until you get up right to the window. Cookies are very indulgent and gooey something you get maybe once every couple of months but nevertheless they are exactly what you would expect sugar bombtastic.
