We had a pizza and a calzone which were fantastic but the Scottish and German beers were the icing on the cake in the frosted mugs!

I would recommend Erica's, or Cranston's to anyone. Their pepperoni pizza comes with the pepperoni under the cheese, very delicious. On a busy night it is common to expect a wait though, so we usually sit at the bar for better service. There is usually only 2-3 workers in the front but they work hard. Pizza and beer are always great here. read more

Best place around!!! Fantastic staff and pizza second to none. We have been going to Cranstons for years.

Pretty neat place, It's a different Pizza, unique. According to my taste buds the "spice" makes it or breaks it, which is provided, you can add as much or as little you want. It had a good small town middle America vibe. Service was good and pleasant. I like it everything about it. read more

Loved the food; Italian at its best for a small, Midwest town. Wait staff were outstanding and were handling a busy night in a full house. The establishment is typical Italian with a Tuscany-type environment, and oozes a pub-like atmosphere. I had an enjoyable time and would recommend this restaurant. read more

Miss Erika. Pizza is still really good. Atmosphere is different. Erika made the place feel like home. Great food good people

Cranston's makes no apology for what it is: pizza and beer, cash or check only. It's the kind of local haunt where you can be sure the TV is tuned to the OSU game, and pretty much everyone will be watching. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would but I'll round up here. Cranston's gets points for an interesting beer selection, with German and Scottish beers on tap and available in liters, if that's your thing. Smaller sizes available too. They also have wine, a bar and bottled beer. The pizza is fine, nothing crazy. Personally it was a little underdone for my taste; not raw or anything, but could have used a couple more minutes in the oven to crisp up. But, the secret spice saves it from being too bland. Definitely add a shake to your slice! And I know this is Doylestown, but it's still kind of surprising for a business not to take credit cards these days, what with Square and all the other card reader things out there. But hey, you guys do you. Judging by the number of patrons on the night we went, that doesn't seem to be putting people off. read more

I'm not sure how to update my review here. Yelp is a little sneaky that it pulled all the reviews from when this place was Erika's Pizza and applied it to Cranston's Pub. I have never been to Cranston's so my 5 star review would no longer be applicable. Sneaky Yelp, sneaky. This place needs its own reviews as a new place. read more

Great little place! Service is great ... unfortunately we were looking for more of a sit down restaurant / pub ... this place only serves pizza (we only ordered drinks). Definitely will stop back! read more

Cranston's Pub - Menu - Pizza Near Me - Doylestown, Ohio

The pizza was great! Ordered a large with two toppings cost and two soft drinks bill was $23.55. The service was excellent as well. We where there for dinner. They are open Wednesday- Saturday 4-9. I gave them 4 stars because they only serve pizza and drinks. No salad or appetizers. Overall, I will be back because the pizza and service were excellent! read more

Went here on a Thursday evening, they are only open 4 days a week, cash or local checks only. They have two menu items Pizza & Beer! What more do you need? Good selection of European drafts on tap, they sell a liter sized mug, along with pints. They have a very good Scottish stout, smooth finish not too bitter. Pizza is decent, good value for the price, usual topping's, red sauce, no anchovies available. Place is clean, service is good. They have a bar, high top bar tables, regular tables and long picnic style seating, decor is beer & liquor mirrors and lighted signage. No frills, just a friendly, easy going place to drink cold beer & eat hot pizza. They also do take out. read more

It's all about the "secret" spices, that come in a jar you'd shake Parmesan cheese out of. The previous owner, Erika (also the previous name of the restaurant: Erika's pizza) would count the shakers of this special spice mix at the end of the night and supposedly fire someone if any went missing. That's a rumor I heard, who knows if it's true, but the point is, put some of that yummy secret spice contraption on your pizza! Lol. The pizza itself is a soft, doughy, standard pizza. I love that they have fresh veggies you can add, also. It's a great pizza, especially for around Doylestown area. They also have some great German beers on draft, and a few choices if you want a mixed drink. read more

This has always been our favorite restaurant for pizza so we drive down from Cuyahoga Falls once a week for dinner. During our last trip the owner walked by our table at 8:40 PM and said "drink up folks, we close at 9!" What? We had JUST ordered a second drink... needless to say we asked for our check and got out of there without finishing our drinks. I guess a patron can "drink at the bar" until 1:00 AM but cannot sit at a table after 9:00 PM? The pizza is excellent but the restaurant is only open Wednesday through Saturday for dinner. This ensures that there is a big crowd and a long wait on weekends. If you are interested in eating and relaxing afterwards you should plan to be there by 6:00. Sadly we haven't been back yet... we often aren't able to get down there until around 8:00 PM. read more

I love this pizza!! Erika's secret spice is the perfect accoutrement to this superior pie. Excellent pour of wine. Clean as can be--wipe your dirty boots off at the door or else. Don't cross Erika--no pizza for you !!!!! read more

Cranston's is one of my favorite places to go when I'm craving pizza and a beer. We typically go as a family, order a pizza or two and hang out having a great time! The service has always been wonderful, food delicious, atmosphere welcoming and beer ice cold! read more

They only do one thing and they do it well...pizza. Best pizza in town! The spice blend to shake on the pizza is awesome....wish I knew what was in it. Huge mugs of cold beer to go along with it. This place might be a bit off the beaten path, but totally worth it. read more

Excellent pizza. It's a thin crust style. They only make pizza. They also have a huge beer selection. I don't drink beer so I always get it to go. You have to use the special seasoning. It's the best local pizza shop imo. Also very clean, hardwood floor, white cloth tablecloths. read more

We've been going to Erika's for years. She just sold it and we will never return. It took 2 hours just to get our pizza and not once did either one of the new owners come over to apologize or offer a discount? Erika's will never be the same! read more

Seriously the best pizza I've ever had! Don't forget to sprinkle a little of Erika's special seasoning on your pizza. MMMmmmm

This is a fantastic gem! 1 Liter German Beers, great pie! Must try the pizza spice on the table, just shake heavy and eat!

Simple menu! Pizza! It was delicious and very affordable. Try the red and white sauce. Both are very good. German beer on tap. Cute little restaurant with hard working staff. Definitely a local fav! read more

Not only does this place have the best pizza but also the best atmosphere for a small town bar. If you are looking for a pizza and beer this is the perfect spot. Very clean and relaxing. Mark the owner makes you feel at home..the servers are great. The pizza is phenomenal, the best crust. Make site to try the white sauce. This would be a perfect Friday night list to kick back and get the weekend started. read more

Erika's pizza must be sprinkled with crack magic. The pizza is fan-freakin-tastic. Best pizza I've had in years. Erika's is not exactly around the corner for me; been there three times in the last two months. A must try. Not to mention, some outstanding Euro drafts on tap. Pizza and Belhaven Scot Ale, the way God intended. read more

The only thing they have is pizza. Not what I expected but very pleasantly surprised. Everything about the pizza from the crust, sauce veggies, meat & to the cheese was amazing! Service was superb!! Great beer selection as well. Can't wait to come back. read more

This place has some seriously good pizza! and they have their special spice that you can get on it... it's utterly scrumptious!

A friend of mine took me here for pizza after a Cavs game last fall. It was unbelievable and I swear I have not had another brand of pizza since! You actually crave the goodness and must go back. Erika herself is worth the trip. The pizza has it's own homemade seasoning that you sprinkle on top and then Erika runs away with the shaker before a chemist can figure out the ingredients. The pizza is fab, beer is cold and served in frosted mugs and you really need to check it out for yourself because tasting will make a believer out of you! I always take one for the road! read more

Great pizza! Not as good as when Erika herself owned it, but still the best pizza around. A little pricy though, we just had a party of 8 and it was $160 read more

My son-in-law, daughter and grand kids wanted us to meet them at Erika's for pizza. After reading a couple of the reviews online I was a little apprehensive but we went to Erika's. Wow, am I glad we went! Amazing pizza! Just went for the first time last night. Can't wait to go back. Pizza tastes soon good! Not greasy! The seasoning is like nothing I have ever had. Got to meet the new owners. Talked to them for a while. Great people, very gracious. They made us feel like family! Erika's is not close for us but we will be back very soon! I forgot to mention the German beer, get the big frosted mug! Great place, very casual. You must go to Erika's. You don't know what you are missing! read more

This is a great pizza and bar place. Pizza is great and nice stocked bar. Service is great. I drive 25 mins. Just to go there pass a lot of other places just to go here. It is that good read more

This used to be our absolute favorite pizza joint. The last two times we have been there (in the last month or so), the pizzas are completely different (except the special spices). Crust was over-done, toppings were minimal or missing. I'm guessing we are not the only ones, because both times there was a fraction of the customers that are normally there. We've been going there for years. It was MUCH BETTER when it was Erika's. We will give it one more try (three strikes and you're out), then we're done. read more

We stopped at 9:00 on a Friday night and were met by the rudest person I have ever met working at the bar. Apparently they were out of pizza and they only serve pizza??? We were going to have a few drinks anyway but the rude bartender acted like he didn't want us there so we left. I have never been treated like that in my life in a restaurant. I am a business owner myself and if one of my patrons was ever treated like we just were I would fire my staff. read more

Have been going to Erica's for 11 years, it's not at all the same as before she sold it. The pizza's O.K. not great like it was. The big draw before was Erika herself plus the pizza was great, now it's just another place to eat. Last time we were there the owner asked us to leave, do to it being so busy. not with any tact what so ever either. We didn't even pay our bill yet! Oh and there was no one waiting at the door to be seated. That was the last time we will eat there. read more

My wife ordered a pizza to go and asked for a little extra sauce on the side. When we received it, the toppings were meager and they charged us $2.00 for about two tablespoons of sauce! They didn't tell us it was extra when we ordered. The taste of the pizza was mediocre at best I won't go back. read more

Whoever said that you can't go wrong with Erika never met her. This woman is legendary for her extraordinary rudeness. Hundreds if not thousands of people have been treated so poorly they refuse to return. The pizza is average at best, but the way this lady treats customers is unrivaled -- she is just plain mean. read more

Pizza is still good but not as good as when it was Erikas..... Still better than most pizza places around!

Best pizza in the world. Fun atmosphere, some great German beers on tap too. This is a hidden jewel in Doylestown Ohio.

Had to wait 20 minutes to even get acknowledged. The pizza took over and hour and a half to get, dinning in. That's because the pizza was delivered to the wrong table then it was one excuse after another. The owner didn't seem to care. The original owner Erika sold the place. Not the same as it use to be. Very disappointed! read more

I've been going to Eriksa for years now. Although it was sold, the place is just as it was - great pizza and great German beers! I have no problem giving this place a 5 star review! Thanks guys! read more
