Terrible Management, cashiers and Floor/Department workers. I returned some unused items I bought…read morethe day before. Every item had tickets still attached and were unworn. immediately, the management was called she came over to question why was I returning so many shoes? . I laughed now, but I was insulted and incensed! I said they didn't ask me that when I was buying them. She got angry and started singing, took 8 minutes to return the shoes, then she walked around the store telling all of the people that worked there (darker skinned African male, African female in home section, heavyset light skinned cashier sitting on a stool, and she called for the shopping center security monitor to come and guard the exit! After I noticed that they were following, I went on a tour. They original cashier with the short curly wig said that it is "store policy " to call manager for any return over two hundred dollars. I read the back of the receipt and have returned an item that cost over $300 and have never experienced this. I think this is because I am on vacation as of 6/23/2023, had surgery on my thigh Monday, 6/26/2023, and was not dressed to impress and no make up. Black people love to judge people based on how the look. I own a home near Wegman's, earn $170K yearly, have credit score of 780, completely debit free besides small remaining mortgage, have more than $29k in my checking, and I don't go around judging people based on how they are dressed, because none of that matters!!! If I had been feeling a little better I would have gone back to the store where I bought the item. They treat everyone with respect!!!! For the record. When I bought the shoes I didn't have glasses on and did try any of them on. When I got home with glasses on, none of them were leather. I do t wear man made material on my feet. They were fake designer shoes.

Whenever I'm in the Ritchie Plaza area I stop in at TJ's too see what deals I can snag. The men's section usually doesn't disappoint; I can find some good shirts or athletic wear for the low-low. I also really enjoy the home good section; during this time of year there were plenty of fall and Halloween items to grab. The store is clean, the line at the front moves quickly, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Afterwards, she opened the box for me to see the shoe, however when I picked one up, she placed the box with the other shoe in it on the floor behind the counter. What kind of service is this?! Did she expect me to run out? Had it not been my husband's birthday, I would've left without purchasing anything at all. However I did buy the shoes, along with a sweatshirt, only to get home and realize she had left a censor on my husband's gift. When I returned the next day to have the censor removed, I expressed my discontent to the manager. His response was "sorry you feel that way, but it's our policy to only hand customers one shoe and to place the other one behind the counter". SMH. They will never get another dollar of my money.

Walmarts are not in the area and I'm not trying to travel another 15-20 minutes to get there. Nothing much to say just has to grab a few items and really noticed that the food isles be a little bare. Maybe it was became I came later afternoon times. But the selection should be better than what I was seeing. I was able to find all I needed and unfortunately too much per usual. Service was good was able to get in and out no issue. I just have to remember to carry in the stores with my reusable bags. But other than that you can pay for their brown paper bags that could be reused again later. Will continue to come to Target when I need to and not going to worry about what others are doing. Unfortunately, not a single regular checkout lane was open--only self-checkout was available, and those machines only accepted debit or credit cards, no cash. Of course, I only had cash, so I was forced to check out at customer service. While it did take a little while, the wait wasn't extremely long. Still, the experience was inconvenient enough that going forward I'll be sticking strictly to online orders only, which is always a wonderful experience.
