The owner called me saying that my check had bounced and "collections" (??? language barrier). After 2 hrs calling the bank and checking statements, the check was cashed with money deposited into their account from mine 3 days earlier. They should have called their bank prior to calling their customer. They were courteous, but they blamed other employees for the mistake, sent a text apology (no phone call if you don't owe money) and offered no compensation in any way. I'm a grad student. If you're busy, go elsewhere.

We have been using Tower Square Cleaners for a few months without any issues; until now…read more On May 6th, my husband dropped off some business clothes of mine. The clerk took an extra few minutes to look over 5 items - including a brand new midi length skirt (worn once!). That skirt had a couple of dozen 1/2" silver rings adhered to the bottom 1/4 of the skirt. The clerk made no mention of them being a problem or that the skirt would be damaged. I picked the clothes up on Monday and finally got around to unbagging them last night. Nothing was said to me about any damage to my clothes. Imagine my surprise when I found a business sized envelope stapled to the paper hanger cover for the skirt. There was nothing written on the envelope. I opened the envelope to find all the silver rings!!! When i pulled the skirt out, I saw all the marks on the skirt where the rings had been. Again, not a single word of explanation or apology for damaging my skirt! And before anyone chimes in that cleaners are "not responsible for embellishments on clothing"; I know they have a sign up that states this and that I have no recourse. My angst is about their lack of concern to even take the time to tell me they had damaged my brand new $65 skirt!! Obviously, we will NEVER use them again and offer a word of caution to those who would consider patronizing this business.

They have large industrial size washers that could handle a household rug, which is exactly the reason I was going. The laundromat is very well maintained. It's clean and there are convenient vending machines with various laundry soap and softener options. My only complaint is that for one load of the large washer it's $11 which is higher than I've ever seen in a laundromat. If I'm being honest, I will probably drive the distance to a different laundromat next time because again that's just a larger price point than I've ever seen.
