While I haven't been to many laundromats in my life, I've been to a few and this one is up there at the top of the list. Could that be because it's on higher end and has a cafe? Probably so, but those are highlights for me. I looked at a few different ones when I knew I'd have to go and ultimately decided on this one even though it was on the other side of town. It looked like it'd be worth the drive and it was. Google Maps said it was at the busiest it normally gets when I went but it wasn't busy at all and this was around noon. Based on my experience, I don't have anything bad to say. I did self service which was easy to figure out from getting a card and loading money on to it to working the machines. There is also an option for drop off but I didn't inquire so unsure of the price per pound. I stayed on one side of the building so I saw three different sizes of washers and 3 different for dryers. There of course is free wifi and the cafe was a nice touch. I ordered a 24oz passion fruit, guava, and orange smoothie which was pretty good all things considered. When encountering staff, they were pleasant! There was also plenty of parking. Again, nothing bad to say and I highly recommend! read more

This is not only the nicest, newest and cleanest laundromat in Gainesville. It's the best I have seen in my life! There is so much to unpack, that I might need two reviews! I guess just making a list is easiest! 1. It's very clean and spacious 2. It is only $2.75 to wash 3. The dryers and washers come in different sizes...from normal to ginormous! 4. There are snacks and drinks 5. There are reading spaces for children and THE CHILDREN'S BOOKS ARE FREE!! 6. All the equipment is new 7. You operate the machines with a mag strip card and to get one has easy steps 8. People doing their laundry are happy and friendly 9. You can press two buttons on the dryer and it shows the temperature! 10. The staff cleans and wipes the washers and dryers so the entire place always stays clean. 11. We've been snowbirds for years and loved this laundromat during our previous visits--last year it was spotless, well-maintained, and the staff took real pride in their work. They'd sweep and mop floors regularly, check lint trays, wipe down machines, and keep everything tidy. Their presence made a big difference. This year, things have changed noticeably, and I'm really disappointed. I'm not sure if there's new ownership or just a shift in management, but the decline is obvious. The equipment is the same, but during the rinse cycle, the machines were still overflowing with soap bubbles--even after a full rinse--which suggests they're not rinsing properly or perhaps overusing detergent. The facility itself was a mess: trash scattered everywhere on the floors, around the machines, and near the entrance. It just didn't feel clean or well-kept at all. Several machines were occupied by staff using them for drop-off laundry services, even though the cycles had long finished. This tied up customer machines and made it harder for others to use them. It's a shame to see such a drop from last year's standards. The place used to feel welcoming and reliable; now it feels neglected. Hopefully, they'll get back on track soon. read more

Fresh Laundry & Cafe has made my life here in Gainesville much easier. They are located less than a 5 minute drive from where I live and give me the option of dropping off my laundry for them to do or stay and do it myself. The first few times I went I dropped it off for them to do and the results were great! Then came the day where I had to do my laundry myself. To my surprise, it only took me a little more than an hour to wash, dry & fold my laundry! read more

This has always been my go to laundry mat due to the cleanliness and the employees. It use to have closing hours at night and now a 24 hr facility which I thought would be wonderful so I don't have to rush but boy was I wrong! It was nice and comfy and didn't hit so cold that my grandbabies were crying about being cold. It is legally only 27 decides outside as I'm writing this and or was unbearably cold. We just dropped 65 dollars on washing clothes and linen and the lady working told us she had to take the baskets we were using because it's a 24 hr laundry and she had to lock them up before 10 because she doesn't get overtime. We were in the middle of doing our laundry. I couldn't figure out why my grandchild was in and out of crying and I just find out the "scary monster lady" was mean to him when I had sent him from the cafe area we were seated at to the laundry area to get his papa to help me. He wasn't running, yelling, or being bad. If there's a problem teen me not a 4 year old! Employees use to be so sweet and kind and hard working. This was always such a clean facility with employees washing the floors and machines. They order to say hi to you and talk to their customers. Not anymore. read more

Cafe closed for no apparent reason on a Wednesday. Wrong hours are posted on the website. A paper sign on the door says they now close at 10 (instead of 11). Won't be coming here again. read more

What a beautiful laundromat. It's so fresh and clean in here. Normally laundromats are kinda sad and dingy, but this place is shockingly nice! The cafe has some legit options for coffees and smoothies, it's a hidden gem for sure! read more

Washer machine was broken, so I had to find a solution while apartment management handled repairs. I discovered Fresh Laundry. It's the best. Facilities are clean. There are a range of washer and dryer sizes that all work efficiently. The smoothies from the cafe are a nice snack to have between getting loads of laundry done. read more

Never used a laundromat before and wanted to try something better than our crappy coin machines at the apartment complex. You get a card and pre load it with money. Self service washing starts at $2.50 for the small load (fits maybe 1 small basket) and goes up to $9.50 for super large load (probably a few weeks to a month worth of laundry imo). Drying is $0.25 for 6 minutes so you'd add up for how much you'd need (I did 3x so $0.75). Everything was clean and self explanatory if you just read the signs/instructions on the machines. Overall will return when I need my laundry to be cleaned well. read more

I've been coming here weekly for about 6+ months now. This is the cleanest and well maintained laundry facility I've ever been too. The staff are kind and helpful with questions! They have a cafe area, with great selections of smoothies, coffee and snacks. Nothing on the menu that I've tried thus far has disappointed me. It's all pretty good! Plenty of seating and tables to eat or work/study. If you've got kiddos, there's a very clean little area for you and then to hangout and read some books. Overall experience 10/10. My daughter hadn't done her laundry in a very long time. We were in Gainesville for a family weekend. Needless to say, this was so convenient and not expensive. Well worth the money to let us enjoy visiting instead of "helping" her get her laundry done! They were professional and finished the laundry before they said it would be done! I've never been to a laundromat before, but my washer in my apartment right now is broken and won't be fixed for another week or so... I just got back from vacation and then worked 4 shifts at the hospital so you can imagine the amount of laundry I had was excessive. I came here around 9:45 at night and instantly was greeted with friendly smiles and lots of help cause it was clear I've never done this before. The owner is very sweet and helpful, and the girl she has attending the building and helping her was extremely welcoming and helpful as well. There was only about 3 people in there with me. When I walked in the big room full of washers and dryers I was shocked to say the least. It is squeaky clean- like absolutely spotless, it's bright, has a numerous amount of washers and dryers of all different sizes, and spaces for you to fold the laundry when you're done. There are clean carts to put your laundry on. They also have vending machines full of laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, and then snacks and drinks as well. They also have a cafe that makes smoothies and has other snacks, but they close at 9pm so I missed out on that - but the menu looks appealing and the seating area is impressive. I must say that this laundromat exceeded all my expectations and after a second of being there, I was no longer "intimidated" or "scared" to use the laundromat, considering that laundromats usually don't have the greatest reputation and seem to always be dirty, old, have "creepy" people wandering them, and just are never a very safe environment which makes for an uneasy and awful experience in the end. If I have to use a laundromat again in the future, I 10000000% will be coming back to fresh laundry & cafe and I highly recommend that you do too :) read more

This place is fantastic! Clean, plenty of washers and dryers and you can grab a smoothie while you wait. I liked how clean this place is.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Don't bring your laundry here. A few months ago a whole bag I dropped off was lost and mis-labeled under a different persons name and took causing a scene and looking through every bag there for them to find it. Now, they lost a pair of leggings of mine, and after telling me there's "no proof", despite having in the records a weight difference in when I dropped off versus picked up, all that will be given is a 10$ laundry credit. Dealt with the same lady both times, and she did not care in the slightest and couldn't be more unhelpful. read more

I never need these type of services until today I was moving in and had to wash all of my comforters and sheets and left with clean laundry and fantastic smoothie. I would highly recommend this place it has a great system and excellent customer service. The price is also very affordable and you can save your money if you didn't use all of the credit.
