I've been going to ZIPS for a few weeks, and I think it's very decent! There's a mom and pop owned…read moredry cleaners in our neighborhood, and I've been going for years. Unfortunately, the benefit of their being local was offset by the fact that you have to wait a week or more for your clothes. Recently, I decided I couldn't wait this long for my dry cleaning and realized there was a ZIPS by my office. It's a chain but it's affordable and it's fast. My dry cleaning is ready the day I drop it off if I drop it off early enough and by the next day if I drop it off later in the day. And the customer service at drop off and pick up is good - friendly, efficient. Obviously, some customers have had issues with this location, but I've found it be fine. If you need your dry cleaning fast, this location is a good option.

Did a decent job the first two times I used them but the third time was no charm! Had a large…read moreorder that included my NEW Jos A Banks suit pants and when I picked up there were two holes in the slacks; one behind the left knee and one on rear ... not logical places for a snag and they weren't there when I dropped them off. When pointed out their only response was "We didn't do it" repeated over and over again. No offer of explanation and no offer to fix. Even at a price!!! Asked for manager and person said she was the manager but there's another person that handles "these issues " ... so obviously happens with some regularity. Asked that person to call me and was told she would but never did. Go elsewhere!

I've been coming here every other year for bridesmaid, prom dresses etc for the past 10+ years or…read moreso. Bear with me because this will be a long winded one. I came on a Thursday, told the lady I would like alterations done on my bridesmaid dress. I changed into my dress, she did the measurements and quickly pinned the ends of my dress I wanted cut off. She said she'd have my dress ready by Tuesday- ok cool. I would be charged $48 which I'm not sure how she came up with that number because my friend with a similar dress was charged $43, but whatever. I gave her ONLY my name and in exchange she gave me a ticket for pick up. It appeared that my name and number was already saved in their system, how efficient. Tuesday came around and I was pretty busy that whole week, I actually wasn't able to come until the following Tuesday, which shouldn't have been a huge deal anyway because where else would my dress go, right? I came in and said I'm here to pick up my dress. Unfortunately I misplaced the ticket she gave me the day I dropped my dress off. That was totally my bad, but they should have my name in their system right? So she asked ONLY for my phone number, never asked for my name. I gave her my home phone number, but then she made a face like that wasn't a good one, so then I gave her my cell. During this period I was getting nervous, so I started to describe the dress, the color was a wine, etc. She then walked to the side and handed me a long sash in the color wine. At this point I got impatient. I said, yes this is the color but where is my dress????? She looked at me like I spoke another language. A few minutes later a man came out and I had to give him both my numbers again. First he said I picked up the dress May 22nd. What? Then he said someone else picked up my dress. WHAT? How?! I started to think, maybe my friend picked it up by accident? That was highly unlikely because she would have had to pay for it AND she would have told me. Let's not forget I still had a sash that did not belong to my dress, but the man said it was from my friend's dress and that I should give it to her- which later I learned it wasn't. SO I HAVE SOMEONE ELSE'S RANDOM SASH. After all this back and forth business, the man told me to come back Wednesday at 5pm because the seamstress was very busy over the weekend and still needed to work on it. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY LAST TUESDAY BUT OK, SIR. I left the store very frustrated, but with a free sash! How wonderful. The next day came and I can't come to this store. I live in Baltimore city and I hate the thought of driving all the way there just to find out they lost my dress. My moms lives in the area and she was happy to do my errand for me. When she arrived she told them she was picking up my dress and before she could finish telling her the phone number, the lady signals her to stop (rude) and she turns around and comes back out with my dress. HALLELUJAH!!!! So you had it after all! After that whole mess, I visit my mom to try on my dress and lo and behold, it was still very long. Welp. What is life. I would like to not come back to get it re-altered for the chance that they can't find my dress again and/or won't be ready in time for my friends wedding. TL;DR: I came to pick up my altered dress, they couldn't find it. So they gave me someone else's sash? The next day they had my dress Tried it on and it was still too long. Never coming back to this establishment, would give it no stars if I could. UPDATE: took a closer look at the "sash". Turns out it is the end portion of someone else's dress that was cut off. What. In. The. World. Why would you ever, in any circumstance, give that to a customer? Terrible.

Had a tablecloth with a decal logo to get cleaned and pressed for a work function, and dropped it…read moreoff here a few days ago. A short conversation, then I left with a ticket for pickup on Thursday. Not an overly friendly exchange, but nothing rude about it. Stopped in today, was greeted and asked for my ticket (after the employee took a few seconds to wrap up whatever he was doing on his cell phone). Tablecloth was cleaned, looked great, and only cost $15 to take care of- not bad, it was rather large. Not a surprisingly pleasant experience here, but nothing wrong with it either.
