We have been going there every week for a year. The food is always superb. We frequently eat the Greek Omelette. The scrambled eggs are light and fluffy. Pancakes are great, too. Especially the blueberry and cranberry. The muffins are also a delight and I highly recommend. Our waitress Brenda (Lee?) is what makes the experience extra special. She always has our coffee, teas, waters ready for us along with big slices of lemons. She also gives us a variety of teas to choose from too. Orders are always correct and come to the table hot and very quickly. She is exceptionally good at her job. The restaurant is extremely clean and the restrooms are immaculate. Went to Cranberry Cottage in Wareham for Father's Day . Standing there waiting for the waitress to give our name . She comes with an attitude takes my name then points to the couple behind me and says you were here first right ? They said no, I asked why she would ask that if I'm Standing here at the counter . She replied with an attitude I didn't see you . Well I'm short what's your point why would you do that ? So if they said yes you would just belive them ? Is the tattoo's and giant hoops that are giving you an issue . Is that want you do to different races also? Pretty sure she wouldn't have appreciated a judgement from me . Service....familiarity with waitstaff led to an insult to spouse, the customer. We have never been back. Down the road is Tastebuds. The food, atmosphere and service add to a wonderful dining breakfast experience. Take out food, homefries bland even with salt added. They were so hot going into styrofoam take out box it melted parts of the box under the homefries. Spatula burn marks inside container edge. I don't think not melting the take out container is a big ask. Its really a health concern at that point. read more

Busy. They were very upfront that they were working short and there would be a wait. Very pleasant waitstaff. Food was phenomenal. A little pricey, but everything tasted great. I loved the layout with the curved booths and a bit of privacy. This can be a nice getaway from a busy hectic schedule. Breakfast all day, but they are only open until 115. Ordinary food, high prices. Cute place, service was very good. I tried the pancake, scrambled egg and bacon plate. Eggs were stingy and awful, pancake came right out of a mix and came with fake maple syrup. At least the bacon was good, though again stingy. The waitress was very pleasant to our group of six. I ordered the cottage skillet but substituted over easy eggs instead of scrambled and their sausage gravy instead of the cheese. The sausage gravy had chunks of homemade sausage and was delicious-perhaps the best I've had. I am sorry to say it was a major disappointment to return to the great Cranberry Cottage. Under its new ownership, a new building and the whole place seems to have turned a page to bring the odd sense of management to the front. The menu is basically the same with everything just being charged a couple bucks more, being also considerably smaller and not at all warm. I got the Great Hill omelette as that is what a place like this has to serve well, something that just CANNOT be made anywhere else. Made with super blue cheese from the farm in Marion, Mass less than 5 miles away, it should have been perfect. But it wasn't. I hate to write this, I really do, but I would like to see them find a way back to where they were before since that is where THEY see themselves. read more

Cranberry Cottage is a hidden gem breakfast spot in the Onset area. The space itself is perfect for dine in. Tables are adequately distanced and I really feel very comfortable eating here especially during Covid. I have been twice so far. Each time the service was great and we didnt have to wait long at all to be seated or to get our food. So far I have tried the broccoli cheddar croissant, the Cottage Skillet and the french toast sticks. The french toast sticks were by far my favorite. They are crunchy and delicious. Tip: get a side of whipped cream to dip them into as well, literally droolworthy. I do wish that they would play a little music to liven the atmosphere but otherwise everything was perfect. read more

This has the feel of a chain restaurant such as Friendlys. Because of the many hard surfaces, it is extremely noisy on weekends. Do take note that they add milk to the omelet mix, so beware low-carb and Keto dieters. To me, the addition of milk toughens the omelets. On the weekend, I noticed that the cooks pre-toasted the bread as there were about 16 slices sitting up on a table waiting for the next order to come in. Bacon and sausage were also all cooked ahead of the orders. Staff was friendly and seemed efficient, hence the three stars. read more

Breakfast options are exceptional tasty, from the classic that you would imagine to various omelets and sandwiches, not to mention great tasting coffee!
