Hands down, the best barbecue I've ever had! The chopped beef was absolutely incredible--truly, the best chopped beef I've ever tasted! The chopped pork was fantastic, and the ribs were nothing short of amazing. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. And the barbecue sauces? The hot sauce was exactly what I like, with the perfect kick, and the mild sauce was delicious too. There wasn't a single thing we tried that disappointed! The owners are the nicest, most wonderful people I know! They know what they are doing! As far as ambiance is concerned, it's a walk up order situation so not a restaurant to go into but they do have some covered tables and chairs in front. This is some of the best barbecue I've ever had, and my only complaint is that it isn't closer to where I live! I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Can't wait to come back! read more

I live walking distance so it's somewhere easy to go. Went for the first time last week and it EXCEEDED expectations. The kind lady at the window helped me with the menu and gave me some recommendations on what was good. Waited no more than 3-5 minutes. Got home and food was still warm. I ordered tenders, fries, pork sandwich, and their butterfly shrimp basket. Every bite was better than the last. Flavorful. Definitely my weekend walk spot! read more

Stopped at this restaurant today for the first time just passing through town. We weren't sure what we were getting into but it was delicious! While at the drive thru I had to pull around the building like 4 times because my order wasnt ready. I had ordered my food like 20 minutes before getting there. I did not like the pork barbecue sandwich that i ordered. It was dry and tasted weird. The toasted bun was a little burnt along with the price being too high for the amount that is served. read more

Since the day they opened in Malvern at their concession stand through their present location on Page St., Not Once Have They a Disappointed Me! That's a lot of years! I do, however, get the sauce on the side as it can be a little messy and as much meat as there is, I choose to mix. Slaw tops it all off to perfection! read more

Driving west from Little Rock, got a craving for BBQ. Came to Malvern, AR. Looked like nothing but fast food for another 60 miles, so I punched BBQ into the Garmin GPS and up came this place. This is a quintessential American BBQ shack. Ordered 2 lb of ribs (pork) plus drinks for me, the wife, and kids. Wow, were they ever tasty! There's a whole line of awards under the counter inside the shack that you have to look for to see. Well deserved. For an extra 2 minutes of driving, this place "smokes" the chains right off I-30. Very friendly service, free refills on drinks. Gonna make this "pit" stop a tradition! read more

Having driven from Dallas on our way toward Nashville, we stopped for lunch in Malvern, AR. We wanted barbecue. The only nearby place was Craig's several miles off the highway. When we got there we were greeted with a shack with some tables out front and we wondered if we had made a mistake. But then the food came, and it was some of the best barbecue I have ever eaten.
