Then I spoke to Philip Puleo the sales manager regarding pricing. Phil gave me the lowest out the door price within the first 5 minutes of talking to him. There was 0 back and forth, 0 games, 0 frustration. I did visit other dealerships in the area and what a mistake that was. I wasn't aware how lucky I was with how I was treated at Mazda. I ended up going back to Mazda, thanked both David and Peter endlessly and walked out with my beautiful new car. If I could rate them 10 stars I would. This was my first time buying a new car and someone recommended Wantagh Mazda. I go in and Joe greeted me. We sat down talked price and I left. At no point did Joe harass me by calling all the time or emailing me or anything like that. I told him I would be in contact with him and he agreed. We kept communication back and forth and showed him other prices that other dealers were giving me. He managed to get the price down to what I wanted for the car I wanted, and 2 days later I was driving out with my brand new Mazda. Now here is what makes them go above and beyond. A few days later, Phil the manager calls me asking me to come into the showroom because he managed to get me an even BETTER deal on the financing than the great one I already had. Now I know that no other dealership would do this for a customer. This is why I know hands down they are the best Mazda Dealership there is. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family, and would definitely consider purchasing another car in the future from them. Called to inquire about a loaner since I do not live nearby and the wait was about a month. Instead I made an appointment and dropped off the car. I pulled in and was quickly helped by Chad. I explained what the issues were (squeaky brakes, etc.) and Chad was aware of them. There were technical service bulletins from the manufacturer regarding my issues. About 3:30pm, I text for a status of my car. Chad then calls me and explains they need to keep the car overnight because it's a big job. They likely catered to paying customers, not issues covered under warranty, like mine. Chad stated that the car would be ready in the afternoon the next day.. After I explained, I need the car earlier for work, he said I could talk to a manager. That would be useless. About 5pm the same day, Chad called me again and told me my vehicle would be ready earlier than expected (in the morning rather than the afternoon) and it was. Picking up the car was a breeze. Service was fine so long as you don't need a loaner and you are able to possibly be without a car for some time.

One morning the truck actually stalled in the driveway and we decided to take it to a different Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram facility. Within 3 hours my husband found out that it needed a new alternator, new starter, and a new strut. Amazing how The Merrick location kept saying it was the radio. They should be embarrassed by how they treat their customers. I plan on filing complaints everywhere for everyone to know how they treat their customers.
