A couple years ago our son sustained an injury which displaced an adult tooth. We were referred to Dr. Cragun by our dentist and could not have been happier. Dr. Cragun displayed perfect bedside manner displaying empathy and concern. He took time to fully explain our options, detail expectations, was honest about outcomes, and his office was fully transparent with pricing upfront. The procedure went smoothly and he lived up to his word. It's refreshing to have such a positive medical experience especially when it involves your child. read more

This was absolutely the best dental experience ever ! From start to finish the staff was courteous, professional, and efficient. Dr. Cragun took time to explain the procedure fully and made sure I understood my options and let me make my own decision. I did take his advice and had the recommended procedure done. It took about 45 minutes to be done and I was on my way. Most importantly, there was no pain involved. For anyone as apprehensive about dental appointments as I am, I'm serious... I felt nothing. He kept me updated throughout the procedure and kept checking to make sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Cragun Endodontics ! Thank you to Dr. Cragun and the entire staff for caring. read more

Dr. Cragun has excellent bedside manner -- calm and comforting. And better yet, he's the first doctor that I can recall to have personally made a follow-up call instead of delegating to nurse. Staff very nice from start to finish...even when I ran late. read more

I was referred to Dr Cragun by my dentist as an emergency today for pain and a root canal.. so appreciative he made time for me in his booked schedule!! I was greeted by a very friendly and personable woman at the front desk, made me feel comfortable right away Dr Cragun has great bedside manner, and made sure I felt no pain.. He was fast and efficient, and conscientious of me and my comfort while he was working I would highly recommend him, especially if you're an anxious person when it comes to dentists! He also communicated to me what I may expect and prescribed medication for my comfort, Although his assistant was good at her job, she needs to work on her bedside manner! But overall a good experience. read more

What an outstanding and exceptional experience start to finish. From the staff, to DR. Cragun, to the technology his practice uses. I was in severe pain this morning and called legacy ranch dental. They got me in at 10am, referred me to Dr. Cragun for a root canal and I was done in under an hour. Before I even showed up, his team had worked with my dentist, my insurance, and had a plan for treatment set up and ready to go. I showed up to a warm welcome, a great conversation, and the most generous bed side manner I could imagine. We went through a painless procedure, and I was on my way. To take it to a higher level, well after his office was closed, he personally followed up with a phone call to ensure I was feeling well, had my meds, and was recovering with no issue. I cannot recommend him and his team enough. In a time when you don't know the answers, the doctors, and just need some help, he and his team provided everything you could ask for and more....and at a very reasonable price. Well done to him and his team. The diamonds in the rough. read more

In case you need another five-star review before you trust all the ones posted before me, here it is. What others say is legit. My Frisco dentist will only send his root canal referrals to Dr. Cragun. My first one was completed in 2018, and I knew then I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Front office staff is polite and helpful. When I was having a flare up before the roof canal, they gave me some helpful advice to go back to my dentist with while Dr. Cragun was on vacation. Even though my root canal appointment wasn't for another week, my dentist preferred to prescribe meds for comfort to try to get me through the week rather than send me to another endodontist. That's how highly he thinks of Dr. Cragun's work. And he's right. Dr. Cragun has some of the best chair-side manner of any doctor I've seen. He knows you don't want to be there, he knows you're in pain, and he knows you don't want to be in worse pain. He makes sure you're properly numb before he starts the serious work. Feel something? No worries. He's got tricks to make sure you don't. He keeps you in the know along the way so you're comfortable with what he's doing. And if all that wasn't enough already, he checked in with me that night to see how I was feeling. You can't go wrong with Dr. Cragun. read more

One of the least painful dental experiences I've had. Dr. Cragun was able to do a consult and exam the same day which saved me time off work and alleviated my pain quicker. Him and his staff were thorough, knowledgeable and kind the whole time. Highly recommend Cragun Endodontics. read more

OMG! Amazing experience. I almost FELL ASLEEP(?!) getting a root canal! Think about that for a moment. Not an ounce of discomfort, at all, throughout the entire procedure, from filling out the simplest intake form I've ever seen in the waiting room to getting a couple of preliminary X-Rays (thanks, Peyton!), anesthetic, and the root canal, itself. Dr. Cragun was primarily concerned with my comfort, very engaging, informative, and quick. His staff was efficient, professional, and friendly. I was in and out in a half-hour and had an overall EXCEPTIONAL experience. I would highly recommend Cragun Endodontics to anyone who needs endodontic care to save their teeth. Where do I click TEN STARS? Thank you to Dr. Cragun and his staff!!! read more

Having intermittent tooth pain for a long time I seen several dentists & another Endodontics. Everyone said something different, but I didn't trust the judgement. Jacob took the time to figure out the problem and explained the finding. Having several root canals in the past I would say Dr Cragun was the best. The night after he called me to see how I was doing. Later I got a partial refund in the mail because of an adjustment for the insurance payment. I'm only disappointed that after all the great service I am only a 1 time customer. But if I had another problem, I would go to Cragun Endodontics without a doubt. read more

I had an old root canal that had an accessory root they couldn't see 20 years ago that had become infected. Dr. Cragun diagnosed it quickly with advanced imaging, laid out my options clearly and without bias, and once I made an informed decision did the procedure completely painlessly and I was there maybe an hour. I was blown away by the skill and overall service which was the best dental experience I've had in my 57 years. Look no further in the metroplex if you need endodontic work. Dr. Cragun's the best. read more

I have unfortunately had to use several Endodontists over the years and Dr Cragun is the best period. It was interesting to me the difference in recovery. With Dr Cragun it was as if I did not even have a root canal. In my opinion he is the best at what he does and I could not recommend him more! read more

Dr Cragun is amazing. He and his staff were very pleasant and informative. I have a few issues when it comes to going to the dentist and always dread going. So when I was told I might need a root canal by my primary dentist I internally freaked out for all I have ever heard about this type of procedure is its the worst thing ever to have done by the dentist. Dr Cragun listened to my concerns and took all into consideration. He explained things as he went along so I knew what to expect and he would stop when I needed a small break. The whole experience was painless and not unpleasant at all. I totally thank he and his staff. read more

Just got my root canal done on Tuesday. Before the procedure I was numbed up with gel and received a couple of shots to numb the area. Dr. Cragun was very informative through every step of the shot. He advised me that this would be a pain free procedure, so if I felt anything to let him know. An hour flashed by and I felt absolutely NOTHING. He updated me on the procedure and anything I would Feel after. He advised me that ibprofin or Tylenol would all be needed for inflammation or pain. I DIDNT NEED ANYTHING. I felt great afterwards. Today my mouth is sore, but no pain. He also called me personally to check up on me. I will be recommending him to everyone I meet. Professional, caring, and an outstanding endodonist. I am Very pleased with my decision! read more

I have a major fear of anything dental and I had never had a root canal before. I walked in dreading what was about to happen. Dr Cragun and his staff were AWESOME. Explained everything, ensured I was comfortable and had no pain. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. read more

No one wants to get a root canal, but if you have to go, this is the place. Dr. Cragun is exceptional. He makes sure you will not feel any pain, explains everything, and works quickly, all the while asking if the patient is doing okay and checking in periodically. His assistant, Megan, is also excellent. I highly recommend this practice, Dr. Cragun and his staff. read more

I was referred to Dr. Cragun's practice for the first time 8 years ago. He is an out standing practitioner. I had the need to see him again the other day. Again, he took care of the problem quickly and painlessly. After the swelling subsided, I noticed the bite was off on the tooth he repaired and it was causing me significant pain. I called the office to see if I could get the bite corrected and was told that I would have to wait 3 days for a 2 minute procedure. I did not create the problem with the bite and had paid for the service, but think it's completely unacceptable to be told you need to wait three days to have the pain in your tooth fixed. read more

I'm a dentist so I truly know what's going on. This was the easiest, best experience ever. Zero pain. All fun. I laughed the entire procedure. From the staff to the doctor I promise you won't find another Endodontist even close to this guy! read more

I had a root canal a few days ago with Dr Cragun. I was referred to him by my dentists and honestly I had some doubts since I didn't know him. Right now, I have no hesitation on giving him a five star. He was very knowledgeable and professional. read more

Dr. Cragun and his team are the best in the biz! I can't say enough great things about them. When I found out that I needed a root canal I was totally freaked! I had only heard horror stories about this procedure, so I was extremely nervous when I arrived. He has such a calming presence and his staff is so understanding and welcoming. I walked out after my procedure with a huge smile and NO pain. Dr. Cragun & his team are such pro's at what they do!! They aren't even in my network anymore (employer changed insurance) but I would pay higher out-of-pocket just to go back to Dr. Cragun. Just the best of the best! read more

Dr. Cragun and his staff are truly second to none. I have had my fair share of dental work due to dry mouth issues post radiation. To make a long story short, I know a great endo when I see one. Dr. Cragun's office in inviting, clean and has all of the most up to date equipment. The staff members are all very helpful, well informed and the turn-around time is impressive. It took Dr. Cragun less than an hour to perform a root canal on a tooth that had 4 canals in pretty bad shape--now that is impressive. I will definitely return to Dr. Cragun for any future endodontic needs!! P.S. He is the first Endodontist that I have ever had that has personally called to check-in on me post treatment (genuine care is few and far between these days)! read more

Today was the second root canal for the hubby, and the first by Dr. Cragun. It went so smoothly with Dr. Cragun, as opposed to the horrible experience and pain of the first one. Hubby had no pain and raved about Dr. Cragun, who explained everything along the way. Dr. Cragun even made a personal call in the evening to check up on hubby. The best root canal experience. Highly recommend Dr. Cragun! UPDATE: Hubby prepaid for Dr. Cragun's services. We received a refund check today because our insurance paid for a little more than expected. Dr. Cragun is not only great at what he does, but honest to refund some of our out-of-pocket. THANK YOU! read more

Above and beyond excellent! I love all of the employees at Dr. Cragun's office. A smile really goes a long way. Now, down to the root of the service. I went in for a rather difficult root canal and I was in and out in under one hour! I was thoroughly impressed at how fast the whole procedure took. Normally with other doctors I fall asleep because root canals take forever. That is so not the case here! Dr. Cragun used plenty of numbing medicine and made very sure my tooth was completely numb before he began working. I was shielded for my X-rays. I was also prescribed medicine for pain. They even listened when I told them I needed the minimal dose for pain. I really hate when I am given far too much medicine and Dr. Cragun heard me out. I will definitely be using Dr. Cragun for all my future root canals. The best part was that they fit me into their schedule in less than 4 days! Tip: when you go to his office park in the back and go to the second floor. Follow the signs around the corner and down the hall at the end to find his office. That was the most difficult part of the whole visit. read more

I have no hesitation on giving Dr Cragun and his entire office staff five stars. From my first visit where he took the time to explain his diagnosis and talk through my options to my return visit where his expertise, skill and great bedside manner (he was always checking on my pain level) got me through a complex procedure on two roots. His staff were great and got me a blanket and water to keep me comfortable. Dr Cragun called me that evening to check on my progress. I can see why everyone has also given him such great reviews. He deserves them. read more

Dr. Cragun and his staff are extremely nice and make you feel at ease with each appointment. He took the time to make sure I really needed a root canal before I actual got the root canal. I can't express how pleased I was with my experience with dr cragun and his entire staff. Everyone was pleasant and understanding of the fact that no one really wants a root canal, but here they were! I was very nervous and the staff and dr cragun put me at ease. Dr. Cragun explained my situation in a straightforward manner and was warm and friendly. I had one troublesome area due to infection and dr cragun was VERY apologetic for the one singular time I felt even a twinge of pain. It's a root canal, I would never expect to go the whole thing with absolutely zero pain! Y'all, if you're ever in the unfortunate circumstance of needing and endodontist, do yourself a favor and go here. I bet my #15 molar you won't be disappointed! read more

Dr. Cragun is definitely a 5 star dentist. Yesterday I had my second root canal performed by him. I can say both times the procedure was absolutely painless. My general dentist recommended him for the root canals. read more
