First off, it's a feast for the eyes. There are so many gorgeous pieces in this small space. I loved how the selection was color/holiday coordinated and that there was plenty to choose from. We are looking around at how we'd want to decorate our future home and I can assure you, this place is gonna get hit by me when we have it. There were so many things I wanted to buy just in my quick browse. The pricing is a bit high, but a lot of their pieces are luxury/high end. Second, we loved the service. The person working the front, and some of the people working in the back, were friendly and helpful. We were greeted but given space to wander. We were asked if we needed help by new people coming from the back and I appreciated that.

Incredible Private Chef Experience!…read more I had the pleasure of hiring This Little Oven as a private chef for myself and my two children, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the very first meal, I knew we were in for something special. The baked breads and cookies were absolutely divine--fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. Every lunch and dinner was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with delicious, wholesome ingredients. My kids and I especially loved the way each meal felt both elevated and comforting at the same time. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional--professional, warm, and accommodating to our tastes and preferences. If you're looking for a private chef who brings both skill and heart to the table, I highly recommend This Little Oven! -- Paul W.

I rarely give a business 5 Stars... However Chic Favors, definitely deserves it!…read more I was impressed, from the moment I pulled up to the store. I was greeted promptly upon entering, in a friendly manner. Diana, the owner dropped what she was doing, to help me plan the perfect party. She personally designed every we needed for visual effect. Party favors, menus, name cards, programs, and helped design the center pieces for the tables. The best part was, it was a one stop party shop. I was even able to order personalize candy, but a cake cutter, decorations, and a sign in book. For the time, and effort she put into designing everything, and getting it done on time, with short notice. I felt the bargain was amazing! The shopping center is easy to get in and out of, and there was plenty of parking out front. I would recommend Chic Favors to all my friends and family.

Arbosana is a small, family owned business owned by husband and wife duo Derek and Joanna, opening this little space in Village Square in May 2023. They hold tasting classes once and month and you can book your spot online on their website. Their events are also BYOB! Before the tasting, Derek gave us an introduction on the history of Arbosana and how it got started. They originally started their business out of their home and made numerous appearances at farmers markets and other events. He also hinted at opening a second location in Henderson, so I hope that happens in the future! We were given a taste wheel to describe what kind of flavors we would get from the olive oil. Afterwards, we ranked our favorite to least favorite and then we had to guess which olive oil wasn't theirs. Following the olive oil tasting, we also did the balsamic vinegar tasting with four different courses. The courses were mixed greens, harissa chickpeas, cheese, and vanilla ice cream. My favorite was the vanilla ice cream, although it was super salty on top at first, but it got a little sweeter towards the end. I absolutely loved the fig balsamic vinegar added to it. Following the tasting, we got to sample their olive oil and vinegar flavors. My dad sampled the espresso vinegar and he was blown away by the taste of it. My dad cooks for my mom and my grandma, so he was literally in heaven when he saw all the countless olive oil flavors. Not too surprisingly, he went home with like three different flavors. Since I cook myself (I mostly use EVOO for cooking), I got me a 16oz bottle of butter flavored olive oil. My dad and I also picked up their harissa chickpea recipe before leaving. This was tasty but a little spicy. Thanks Derek, Joanna, and the rest of the Arbosana staff for welcoming me back and allowing my group to try out your tasting class! They had a lot of fun and praised me for coming up with this idea.

The tasting experience was very different than other tastings I have experienced. First we did a taste test of four different olive oil. We were supposed to rate them and try to explain the flavor of each one. I wasn't very good at this. Then we saw a series of slides and were educated about olive oil production, freshness, and flavor. We were served a variety of small bites that featured a different flavor of olive oil. The most shocking one was the vanilla ice cream topped with a fig balsamic vinegar! It was so good, & I never thought this would pair together. I don't like chickpeas, however, they served a dish that was drizzled with Harissa infused olive oil, mint, & cilantro which I found to be absolutely delicious! It was $45 for the tasting. It was a fun, interesting, & enjoyable experience. I purchase four bottles of oil before I left. I think they should have offered a small discount on immediate purchased for everyone who paid to be here this night. I would have bought more than 4 bottles if they did. Also, don't forget to purchase the bottle toppers that slow the pour of olive oil. I purchased my four bottles and then someone else told me about the toppers that slow the pour so you don't waste an excessive amount of oil. You can also recycle your Arbosana used bottles by bringing them back to them and they will give you a dollar off your next purchase. I I recommend you check this place out, and sign up for an olive oil tasting. Go with a friend and you'll have a great time.

We got there early on Saturday to arrive to an extremely hot building, their ac had gone out. I was under the impression I had already paid for the event so we decided to stay and try to tough it out. They informed us they had water but didn't have cups, there is literally a restaurant next door that I would have asked them for some cups to help out my guest but the owner didn't think it was important to go get cups to provide for us in that heat! The class was pretty disorganized and all over the place. Everyone had too much down time with not much to keep us busy. I didn't ask why but they make us leave the candles and come get them the next day. They told us they would be there no problem and if we wanted we could even come Monday to get them. They were not there when we came Sunday and come to find out they're also closed on Monday & Tuesdays. I then came by Wednesday and to my surprise they were closed again. There was a sign on the door saying they closed early and would see us Wednesday- which it was. To help you understand, they also had us leave our names and phone numbers with our candles. With this being some people's presents they were making to give to their mom for Mother's Day, that definitely would not have been able to do so. And this was the experience I got for my mom to enjoy all week. You think they would at least call everyone and let us know when they were planning to open again so we could retrieve the candles we had already paid for. Which after the class they made us pay full price not even offering a discount for the inconvenience. We finally got ahold of someone on Friday and let them know we were headed to get the candles, she said awesome, I'll have them ready for you. And made excuses for why they hadn't been open. Said they decided to remain closed to get the air fixed. (Which, like I said, they should have called) We arrived, the air was still broken, and the candles were not ready. She never once apologized. Very unprofessional. Save your time and money.

After the candle class, we also just enjoyed walking around and sniffing through all of the store's candles on offer, and my friends bought a variety of room sprays, incense, and more. The experience was $55 per person, which is pretty good for getting to make two candles of your own. I highly recommend getting a few friends together and having a nice afternoon out making candles!
