We've now come to this location a few times because it's the only decent restaurant near my…read morehusband's workplace. It's always pretty busy during the lunch. But you don't have to actually wait much for a table because most people are getting takeout. You can tell a lot of working people come to this location to eat. The service is fine but you can tell they are still learning because they sometimes make mistakes on your order so make sure you check the bill when you get it before you pay it. If they make a mistake, they can pay you cash back if you use the card to pay. There is a manager on site that knows how to do everything. It's just a hassle sometimes Mistakes. And mistakes have happened at least twice when we've gone there but we know they're learning so we are pretty understanding. The location is really clean. The bathroom is also really clean so it's a nice comfortable place to eat with kids but there are no kids menus or anything so bring something to keep your kids entertained if you go here and make sure you check the menu to see if there's something your kids will eat. My kids actually don't need anything on the menu so I bring them box lunches and my husband and I eat from the menu. The only thing they eat is a french fries. We've ordered the chicken sandwiches, the pasta, the grilled cheese and the salad. All the food is normal food nothing amazing but the prices are pretty good for the larger meals. The portions sizes are pretty good as well. If you're getting a salad, I'd recommend just getting the big salad because it's a little bit larger than side salad , but the quality of the food overall has been pretty good for the price. You can also upgrade it for three dollars and you'll get a drink plus some french fries. We recommend this place if you're in the area and you're craving some American food. FYI it's called the West bistro so if you put in the culinary Academy on your GPS you would have to look for the actual restaurant which is in the school.

Chef Vee led the kids through making personal sized pizzas and decorating cupcakes, and it was literally the best party! Each kid received a personalized apron and hat and everyone had the best time! They were hoping to find a private chef in Las Vegas to cook them an infused dinner. Long story short, Chef Vee responded almost immediately and we got to planning the dinner, with only 8 days advance notice! Not only were she and Natalie the coolest, Chef Vee tailored everything on the menu towards what we were looking for (and some we didn't know we were looking for...). My fiance and I are in love with Peruvian cuisine, especially seafood, and once we learned that was Chef Vee's specialty, we were beyond excited to try her infused take on some classic dishes. She and her assistant arrived on time, were wearing gloves and a mask, and got right to cooking while entertaining us with stories and just hanging out. The food was outstanding; it felt like we were taken right back to Peru, and the infusions put us in a very chill state of mind. They hung out with us after dinner for a bit and once they departed, our kitchen was spotless and our fridge had some leftovers that were gone the next day very, very quickly. Would definitely recommend for their good company alone, but the food was everything we hoped for and it was the unanimous highlight of our weekend. Thank you Chef Vee! 10/5 Stars.

An incredible opportunity to learn from masters of their craft. I came into the Pastry Academy with…read moreno pastry experience and left seven weeks later with a strong foundation in chocolate work, plated desserts, and other classic techniques. The program is fast-paced, and what you take from it really depends on the effort you put in. Chef Michel stood out for his calm and focused teaching style. His clarity and composure made it easy to absorb complex techniques. He was always prepared and skillful about course-correcting any issues without disrupting the flow of the class. He also shared occasional operational insights, like references to Nevada's HACCP, that were especially helpful for those interested in starting a business. Chef Amaury's perfectionism was equally impressive. His attention to detail and creative standards challenged us to be more thoughtful and precise in our own work. Even for those with experience, it's worth attending. If you have specific areas you want to develop, both chefs are approachable and open to questions. If you show up ready to learn, there's a lot of knowledge to gain. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience at the Pastry Academy.
