A solid piece chip and dip bowl. I think this was week 2-3.

I took wheel throwing lessons here. The staff are amazing and I am making real items after only one month. I highly recommend both wheel throwing lessons or painting items they already have on hand. In additiin to my wheel throwing classes with Martha, Janet gave me glazing lessons as well. I can't say enough great things about the staff, their patience and skills and what you will accomplish. Don't wait, go there now. I don't have many glazed pics yet but here are a few of the things I made in just a month. Also, they taught me so many ins and outs of throwing and firing. I'm going to make some things at home and see where I have issues and then go back for more lessons by my choice. Don't wait, this is a very cool and exciting hobby. Everyone is getting pottery for Christmas this year and forever!!!

First the address is 5160 S Eastern Ave Suite H. Google and Maps will take you to the old address!!!! Once I did find the place it was quaint, inviting, and friendly. The owner and her assistant are not pushy or try to upsell, they simple ask if you are new to painting? Or is it a passion and they go from there. They give advice only when asked, they joke and keep the environment relaxed with mood music and offer refreshments. Many items to choose from and if you are looking for something specific they will try to find it for you. This is a great family event, kids day out, girls night, or celebration. I highly recommend it and just know that you will enjoy it just as much as I did!!!

I took my 5 year old here and she loved it! The owner is super nice and friendly. The prices are very reasonable, overall had a great experience. I will be coming back!

I wanted something different to do with my three little nephews and found this location on Groupon. When I first arrived, I missed the building because it looks like just a house and not a business. Once I found it, I walked in and as expected, it's a pretty small place. They immediately asked me if I had a reservation, which is my fault for not reading that they are required. So keep in mind, make an appointment! There were two ladies working, and although one was hesitant to allow us to walk in, the other lady obliged and made room for us. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. The selection of ceramics to choose from was not very large, so we struggled to find things we wanted to paint. From the other people I saw there, I think many customers just bring their own. Once we got started, we actually had a good time. It was a good way to kill a lot of time, because it takes quite a while to complete your work. I'd say give it a try to see if it's your "thing."

Sun burst. Sits on the end of an edge!

Nice little place. Likely can hold 25 people . If you blink you'll drive right by it. Nice atmosphere good selection.

I absolutely love this place. Its so relaxing and the owner is so sweet and helpful. Everyone is tripping about the Groupon thing but she honestly gave us a really good deal on the ceramic pieces we were able to paint. Me and my boyfriend had a really great anniversary and were glad we spent it here!

Really nice people. They helped me out in a ceramic pinch and were very reasonably priced.

Ask the Community - Bee Creative Ceramics

Can I buy supplies here for pouring my own ceramics at home?

Ask Janet the owner. She might sell small amounts of ceramic slip, which is the liquid poured in molds that solidifies into a clay piece. Then Janet cooks it in a kiln for twenty four hours. Then it is in a strong white bisque form, ready for… Read more

been the biggest fan of this place since i was a kid!! i feel like ive gone every year and its…read morereally nice how many changes theyve made to grow the business. even on weekdays it gets pretty busy, so def recommend a reservation. the workers are always really nice and helpful, and i love that they offer snacks n canned drinks as well as allow outside food/drink. now are my cons but not rly cons? love this place so theyre not bad enough to stop me from coming or recommending, but theres def some things i and my friends noticed overall. id hope that the place gets a bigger variety of glaze colors maybe? i feel like its been the same for a bit. or even the glaze with different effects. additionally, if there can be a little key to the small glazes in piping bottles it would be superrr helpful to know what theyd look like. we found ourselves walking back and forth 10 times just to see what they were compared to the big bottles. also, if they can have a larger variety of plain items at a time i think it would be nice! when i originally came in there were very few options, but when i came in to pickup my pieces there were a LOT of plain, non charactered/textured cups, bowls, and plates. lastly, i would loveee to join in on their classes to make my own pieces, but its super unfortunate to me that it seems theres not that much opportunity for designing and painting it myself. even if it was an add on fee id definitely be down, but if im already paying about $50 for a piece it would be cool if i can have the option to make it exactly how i wanted.

He's very artistic, so this turned out to be a perfect fit and he genuinely had an amazing time. Choosing what to paint was honestly the hardest part because of the large selection available. There's something for every budget... our pieces were around $20-$25 each, with both more affordable and higher-end options available. In addition to the pottery cost, there is a $9 studio fee per person, which covers all materials, glazing, and firing. We ended up spending close to three hours painting, and the time passed quickly in a relaxed, creative, and very family-friendly environment. The staff during our visit were welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions or offer guidance, which made the experience comfortable even for beginners. The pickup process was slightly less seamless than the painting session itself. We were initially quoted about a two-week turnaround and needed to follow up when we hadn't received a notification yet. There appeared to be some minor miscommunication regarding readiness and text alerts, but everything was eventually sorted out. Overall, this is a wonderful local activity... especially for families, date nights, or anyone looking for a creative and screen-free experience. I'd absolutely recommend planning ahead for pickup communication, but the painting experience itself made for a memorable birthday celebration and we would happily return.

I had a bad experience in here in December 2025. I went in here & of course they were having a sale…read moreon a lot of their items. It was hard to tell the prices on some items that I came across that I was interested in so I used the Michael's app to scan for a price. The items that I had found had a great sale price so I put them in my cart. When I went to go to self checkout the prices were not ringing up for the same amount on the app. I didn't see on the app "on-line price only." I didn't have many items. They had 2 cashiers working & a little bit of a line had formed behind me. Not good to be under staffed during a holiday shopping mth. I was able to ask a cashier behind me about this price discrepancy as I explained it was a different price then when I scanned the items on-line. She had told me "those are on-line prices" I told her I thought this was ridiculous, that I'm in the store already so in order to get these prices I need to order them thru the app & come back to pick them up? Can't I have them for the price listed since I'm here already? She told me I could speak to the manager about it but she was busy with a customer who wanted to buy a Christmas tree on the floor since it was the last one. I had come in here after working all night & needed to get home to get to bed. I didn't feel like waiting so I didn't buy these items & set them aside. I did buy a couple of other items that weren't on sale. A few days later I purchased the items I left behind on the app & did a pickup where I parked in a number parking spot & an employee brought it out to my car. I didn't have to wait too long for the lady to bring it out but honestly this is stupid. A customer will still spend money whether they're going to purchase on-line or go into the store. This cute Christmas platter I got had some flaws in it so I had to go back into the store praying that they still had one & one that didn't have any flaws & do an exchange. I got lucky! But it stinks that I couldn't have picked the item out myself while in store & get the cheaper price. Dumb! I feel like Michael's has jacked up their prices too. I'd say the best time to shop here is when the items are on sale.
