A solid piece chip and dip bowl. I think this was week 2-3.

I took wheel throwing lessons here. The staff are amazing and I am making real items after only one month. I highly recommend both wheel throwing lessons or painting items they already have on hand. In additiin to my wheel throwing classes with Martha, Janet gave me glazing lessons as well. I can't say enough great things about the staff, their patience and skills and what you will accomplish. Don't wait, go there now. I don't have many glazed pics yet but here are a few of the things I made in just a month. Also, they taught me so many ins and outs of throwing and firing. I'm going to make some things at home and see where I have issues and then go back for more lessons by my choice. Don't wait, this is a very cool and exciting hobby. Everyone is getting pottery for Christmas this year and forever!!!

My pot just out of the fire.

First the address is 5160 S Eastern Ave Suite H. Google and Maps will take you to the old address!!!! Once I did find the place it was quaint, inviting, and friendly. The owner and her assistant are not pushy or try to upsell, they simple ask if you are new to painting? Or is it a passion and they go from there. They give advice only when asked, they joke and keep the environment relaxed with mood music and offer refreshments. Many items to choose from and if you are looking for something specific they will try to find it for you. This is a great family event, kids day out, girls night, or celebration. I highly recommend it and just know that you will enjoy it just as much as I did!!!

I took my 5 year old here and she loved it! The owner is super nice and friendly. The prices are very reasonable, overall had a great experience. I will be coming back!

I wanted something different to do with my three little nephews and found this location on Groupon. When I first arrived, I missed the building because it looks like just a house and not a business. Once I found it, I walked in and as expected, it's a pretty small place. They immediately asked me if I had a reservation, which is my fault for not reading that they are required. So keep in mind, make an appointment! There were two ladies working, and although one was hesitant to allow us to walk in, the other lady obliged and made room for us. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. The selection of ceramics to choose from was not very large, so we struggled to find things we wanted to paint. From the other people I saw there, I think many customers just bring their own. Once we got started, we actually had a good time. It was a good way to kill a lot of time, because it takes quite a while to complete your work. I'd say give it a try to see if it's your "thing."

Sun burst. Sits on the end of an edge!

Nice little place. Likely can hold 25 people . If you blink you'll drive right by it. Nice atmosphere good selection.

I absolutely love this place. Its so relaxing and the owner is so sweet and helpful. Everyone is tripping about the Groupon thing but she honestly gave us a really good deal on the ceramic pieces we were able to paint. Me and my boyfriend had a really great anniversary and were glad we spent it here!

Can I buy supplies here for pouring my own ceramics at home?

We took a beginner wheel class, but I didn't feel like I learned a lot because the substitute instructor had other priorities. The class started about 30 minutes late, but we didn't get to make up that lost time. And to top it off, the instructor was distracted and dropped the piece (that I wanted to keep) while wiring it off the wheel! I understand that it was a hectic day and the instructor was busy all by themself, so I scheduled another beginner class a week later. But, I had a similar experience, and I still didn't feel like the instructor had their full and undivided attention on us. I feel like I didn't get my money's worth both times. I'm sure the classes and instructors are great, but I don't see myself coming back here.

I brought in a complex three-part piece that measured a total of 82" x 42", and they matched and framed each section with incredible precision. That said, it makes sense when the quality is this high. If you're looking for top-notch framing, this is the place. Just plan to give them a bit of extra time to work their magic.

Not until I found Art Classes for kids. My husband and I purchased the sibling boxes for our kiddos, which came with a week-long set of artist-inspired projects, ranging from sculpting, sketching, painting and included art-supplies and a daily Zoom link for our kids to join-in on live instruction from Artist-Owner Kim Bavington and her team! My kids throughly enjoyed her camp, and so did we as they ended the camp with a full-on art-installation of their finished art products on our kitchen walls & living room shelves. Bravo to Art Classes for Kids, for allowing this mom an opportunity to expose our kids to a fun, creative and easy to follow art camp, in the comforts of our own home via Zoom!

These classes show that anyone can become a great artist and that art talent is what you learn from great instructors, not what you are born with. The art that was produced by our young kids is up on our walls and people who come over ask us which artists we are collecting. We tell them, "We collect our kids' art!" This isn't just art training, it's also art history because our kids learned about historically famous artists and then learned more about them by creating art in their style. These are great classes to show your kids that they can create extraordinary art quickly and enjoyably. One of our kids was very excited about participating in the online camp but the other was not that interested. After the first day everyone was a fan and looking forward to creating more art. Kim has come up with an incredible combination of inspiration, technique, and education to create a best practice for how art should be taught to children. What we have discovered is that in Art Classes for Kids everyone is an artist. Thanks Kim and your whole team!
