This a a hidden ceramics store in Las Vegas. Cool place to come with your friends and hang out while you glaze a piece of bisqueware. They also offer greenware for you to clean yourself. It's better to clean your own greenware because their greenware isn't cleaned that great, the pour holes are often choppy and the seams aren't clean. They have basic glaze colors, but you can also bring your own glaze in. I would definitely bring your own set of brushes, they are not in good condition here. The place needs a good cleaning, dust from clay is all over the shelves and floors and they never get washed. The bathroom is pretty gross too. The overall atmosphere is cheery. So we got a Groupon and I wanted to do more activities with my mom. So I chose this offer. Location : Empty shopping center in bad side of Eastern. Ambiance: horrible country music on speakers. Plastic chairs . Paper plates . No people . Service: The lady with the smokers rasp was nice enough but wasn't helpful and kept disappearing. I went in with my boyfriend a while back for our first time painting ceramics and we were so disappointed. We picked this cute bulldog to paint, and when we got there the lady just had a party of kids leaving. I think for her convenience and to not get out the right paint, she put acrylic paint on our table and said "it was the easiest to work with." Guess it was on me to further ask what she meant. This is the first time we've painted ceramics, so it wasn't until we were done that we find out our piece wont be getting glazed and fired. So what did i just pay for?? I couldve taken the piece home and painted it myself. On top of this, they say they close at 5. We got there at 3 thinking we should have enough time but were rushed out within the next hour. On the phone, she said she had a party at 5, we thought a group of people coming to the ceramics shop. But now that clearly meant a personal party so she had to close up early on her customers who are paying money to be there. We threw the piece away after having it sit around for months calling places to see if we could repaint it and get it glazed. You cant glaze over acrylic or it will crack. We paid $45 for nothing. Never coming back here again. We went to the pottery shop in town square afterwards and had a much better experience. read more

I took wheel throwing lessons here. The staff are amazing and I am making real items after only one month. I highly recommend both wheel throwing lessons or painting items they already have on hand. In additiin to my wheel throwing classes with Martha, Janet gave me glazing lessons as well. I can't say enough great things about the staff, their patience and skills and what you will accomplish. Don't wait, go there now. I don't have many glazed pics yet but here are a few of the things I made in just a month. Also, they taught me so many ins and outs of throwing and firing. I'm going to make some things at home and see where I have issues and then go back for more lessons by my choice. Don't wait, this is a very cool and exciting hobby. Date day success! Let me tell you that most people in your life are probably going to love going here. It's not necessarily cheap BUT it ate up a good chunk of time to pick out our project and paint it. And afterwards we have our own personalized bit of ceramic décor. We did use the group to save a few dollars and that went a long way in my opinion. I chose a fairly large Buddha's head and she chose a cute small fairy house. There were so many to choose and it looks like they rotate designs available from so you could definitely go back there often to create more. They had common snacks and sodas available to buy and also accepted outside food and drink. That made it all the more enjoyable to be able to snack while we worked. The owner and her assistant are not pushy or try to upsell, they simple ask if you are new to painting? Or is it a passion and they go from there. Many items to choose from and if you are looking for something specific they will try to find it for you. This is a great family event, kids day out, girls night, or celebration. My holiday party here at Bee Creative was a big success. Janet and her staff assisted all my guests create their Holiday Pottery. The selection available is amazing and sure to please. They decorated the studio and tables with holiday decor and played Christmas music. They provided plenty of space for our food and drinks and were accodating in every way. I wanted something different to do with my three little nephews and found this location on Groupon. When I first arrived, I missed the building because it looks like just a house and not a business. Once I found it, I walked in and as expected, it's a pretty small place. They immediately asked me if I had a reservation, which is my fault for not reading that they are required. So keep in mind, make an appointment! There were two ladies working, and although one was hesitant to allow us to walk in, the other lady obliged and made room for us. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. The selection of ceramics to choose from was not very large, so we struggled to find things we wanted to paint. From the other people I saw there, I think many customers just bring their own. Once we got started, we actually had a good time. It was a good way to kill a lot of time, because it takes quite a while to complete your work. I'd say give it a try to see if it's your "thing." read more

This place was adorable! I brought my son in as a last minute attempt for a Father's Day craft. Honestly, They exceeded my expectations. They were extremely helpful with getting us started and even offered advice on which items to paint. Since we came in last moment, I told her it would be fine to pick things up after Father's Day but she insisted On doing an extra kiln burn, so that our Father's Day gift would be ready for pick up on Sunday. No matter how many times I said no that's really OK, she absolutely insisted. So incredibly thoughtful of her. She also called me to let me know that my project had a little too much paint and have sealed shut. I told her that was no big deal since I didn't plan to really put anything in it anyway (it's an ice cream cone) but I was so grateful that she went out of her way to carefully hammer a small hole so that it wouldn't build up heat inside while it was cooking and explode. I know that must've taken a lot of time and she didn't have to even called when alone do that. Again, just so thoughtful and excellent customer service. I really look forward to coming back here. A group of us came here with a Groupon deal a while back to try this place for the first time. There wasn't a huge selection, but I found out later that you can pick a design/mold ahead of time, and they can make it for you. So if you know what you're interested in painting, I recommend going that route. I had a design in mind that relied on me finding a plain plate. Luckily, there was one available. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. They had a good selection of colors, and it was fun for the whole family. I was super disappointed with this place. First, this place is not easy to find, especially at night. There is practically no signage from the street & it's in the back of a weird office building. I went with a small group & we were told it was going be around $5 & it was actually closer to $20. The $5 was a fee for staying open later?? You're actual charge is based on whatever pottery piece you choose. I get it. It makes sense, but be clear. The pottery itself is cheap dollar store quality. You are definitely coming here for entertainment purposes only. I was sitting there the entire time thinking I cannot believe I just paid this much for this piece of crap knick knack. For real, Goodwill will hook you up at a fraction of the cost & time. The other thing that made me crazy was every single bottle of paint was empty or almost empty. So basically imagine everyone trying to squeeze out a few more drops and listening to that ketchup bottle fart noise for 2 hours. So irritating! I am a huge fan of those paint night places which I've always found to be clean, bright, and professional. This was the opposite of that. It was small, dingy, and a little too casual for my taste since I was paying a business not hanging out at a friend's house. This place might be OK for a kid's birthday party where you don't want to mess up your own house & kids won't notice it is a piece of junk. I was really looking forward to checking this place out. My boyfriend and I painted a mug each and we're told they would be ready in 3-5 days and they would give us a call. When we came back to pick up our mugs, mine only had clear glaze over part of it (they put the clear glaze on for you) so they said come back in two days. Also, they never called to tell us if our mugs were done. I decided to call to see if they were ready after two days, nope. They hadn't refired them yet. When my boyfriend tried to pick them up yesterday at 5, some man from inside told him the store was closed, but according to their site they're open until 6. So that trip was a waste. Today, I went to go pick them up, and I was excited since they looked good. This is nearly two weeks after they were originally painted. I take them home and when I went to put some tea into my new mug, you could hear the glaze cracking! So now I've wasted a lot of time, and some money on something that's useless now. I brought my sister and niece her on a groupon. They were visiting from out of town. We were lucky to find 2 cups. The only 2 cup on the shelf. Everything else was unattractive strange little figures or Christmas themed. We're so happy we found this fun little shop! We took our kids out for my husbands birthday and went here before dinner. My kids had a great time and my husband even enjoyed it. The owner was very nice! I called her before we went to get details and she was so sweet. We each picked a piece to paint and got to work. I do wish they would have had more of a selection and been a little cheaper but we still had a blast. We spent about two hours painting. There's six of us total and we took our time. We ended up using the acrylic paints which you don't get to glaze and fire. My kids were happy to take their projects home with them that day but I did miss the excitement of going back and seeing how your piece turned out like when I was a kid. We would love to go back. I painted a ceramic cupcake piece using their acrylics. The lady working there was very helpful and friendly. My friend and I had a Groupon for 2. That Groupon gave us each $10 off of any piece we chose. We could then glaze it and have it refired and picked up at a later date, or use acrylics and take it home that day. Was scrolling through Groupon for some things to do with my daughter and came across a good deal from Bee Creative. It was hard to find and when I finally found it it turned out they were no longer in that building! I walked in the suite and a bunch of construction workers were inside and then asked what I was looking for and unfortunately they did not know where Bee Creative had moved to and directed me to the front office but the lady didn't know either. I called and luckily their location wasn't too far away. After speaking with Heather she apologized and thought their address had been updated. She asked where I found the old addresses so they can eventually be updated. The place is located in a little house with parking behind it. We walked in and Heather knew we were the ones who were lost! She welcomed us in and was very nice. Right away she explained how the shop works and there was a little difficulty with the Groupon but we got it all figured out. The shop is small and simple. There were about 4 tables set up. Although there wasn't a large selection of pieces my daughter found hers right away and it took me a bit to find something for myself. I really wanted to paint a mug but I didn't see any and I went with a small vase. We let Heather know we were ready to paint and she got us all set up. A few negatives: 1) It was 107 degrees outside and you would think it would have been nice & cool inside the shop but it was stuffy, no AC or at least fans going. 2) Choosing paint was no fun since a majority of them were either empty, dried out or in clumps. Luckily we only needed a few colors that were available in big bottles. Other than that we had a nice time and most importantly my daughter had fun and before we finished she was already asking to go back! She was also glad that we got to take our pieces home the same day after being sprayed rather than waiting a week to be glazed. We were very happy with how they turned out. Thanks Heather! Small selection to go along with their cramped and small location. It took almost 2 weeks to get our items. They said said the day of that there were enough people using glaze that our items should be fired the next day. Went in 5 days later and was told they had not been fired yet but that they would be fired the following day. Went back again 7 days later and our items were done. The woman working said they had called a few days prior however no message was left telling us our items were ready. As I explained the situation to the phone rang. I was in the middle of my sentence when she answered the call and walked off. When I protested she snapped that she "had" to take the call. I went with my daughter 1 month ago and I still do not have my ceramic piece. I have been told there are not enough pieces to fire up the kiln and I have to wait. I cannot believe I have to wait over 1 month for my ceramic jug. I have done ceramics for many years and have never ever had to wait this long. I was told I could have it now if I was willing to pay an extra $75 for her to turn on the kiln! Have you ever heard of such a thing?? If you own a small business sometimes keeping your customers happy is a small price to pay in the hopes they will return. I still don't have my ceramic piece which I have paid in full for and don't know if and when I will ever get it. I would like my money back but I doubt she will even do that.
