Table of finished pieces from the class

This place was incredible. The teachers are so knowledgable, so helpful and so kind. I've been dying to take a pottery class for years and I'm so grateful I decided to make a trip here. It's a beautiful studio and perfect for anyone at any skill level.

It was our first time trying wheel throwing and it was so much fun. The instruction was clear and yet not overly prescriptive. The environment is clean, relatively tidy considering how many people were in class. The staff was kind, genuine, and overall helpful in their instruction. They really made everyone feel welcome and encouraging students on how to try different techniques to manipulate the clay. So much fun! Thank you so much to the staff for making this a fun experience.

Can you tell I'm a beginner? Lol.

So much fun! We had such a good time with our pottery wheel lesson. The instructors were friendly, patient and so helpful. We had plenty of time to work on 3-4 pieces and got to choose which ones to fire and take home. They gave us several color choices and pick up in about 3 weeks or so. Highly recommend, and shout out to Colton, who is one of the co owners and so patient, enthusiastic and helpful. Wishing this duo every success!

Such a cool experience! We spent a couple of hours learning wheel throwing with a small group of beginners, and it was a blast. The instructors were so patient, kind, and fun. We'll definitely be back for more classes--it's an awesome way to spend quality family time. If you haven't tried it yet, you totally should!

This place is so darn CUTE. I'll have to come back for a throw class one day, but the one we did (Coffee and Clay) involved molding just with our hands. We will get to pick up our cute lil bowls... cups? lol let's see if they stay together when they bake such a fun activity!

Common Ground Pottery is truly my happy place. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm, welcoming vibes and a beautifully curated space that feels both inspiring and cozy. Every detail--from the colorful glaze selections to the calming music and decor--has clearly been chosen with love and intention. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned artist, this studio makes creativity feel effortless and fun.

My friends and I celebrated my birthday here, and it was so much fun. We did the wheel throwing and it was a great experience with everyone it was something all of us were trying for the first time. Colton and Robert were amazing at helping all of us and making sure we were happy with what we made. Overall great vibes all around. Highly recommend.

This place is so fun! I have zero experience with pottery, and they are so welcoming and friendly here. I've done two of their "coffee and clay" classes and just started their June series, where they teach you the basics of using the wheel and other things.

Common Ground Pottery is more than a studio--it's a soulful little sanctuary where creativity and community meet. Meg and Colton, the owners, are not only wildly talented but also kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in everyone who walks through the door. They've built a beautiful space that nurtures both art and connection. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned potter, this place feels like home. The vibe is warm, the instruction is thoughtful, and the energy is just... great. I leave every class feeling grounded and inspired. Can't recommend it enough!!!
