Very nice concept of a store Jay and Josh was very nice. Everything you need is in the store. Only thing I would personally recommend is buying your own shoes before you come. Also, you're allowed to bring in wine and beer. That's really cool concept. Both guys was very professional had great opinions.

    The stitching is visibly rushed

Honestly it's a great time and unique experience. HOWEVER, the social pages suggests that students are to freely create/design and that there's more than enough time. WRONG! Instructor could have done a better job in a few areas: * Conveying written TIME STAMPS on each step in the process. Rather than telling the class surprisingly "by now you should be on xyz step" this was the main thing I didn't like in this experience! it was actually really annoying being rushed, when time stamps could have been conveyed in the beginning. * Allowing students to be as creative as they want!! I didn't like when the instructor was trying to tell me his "design recommendations" in correspondence to being rushed. I didn't like being told what materials/colors to put in certain areas when it was MY design, not his. * Painting should come BEFORE placing fabric, not after. This is COMMON craft knowledge. Fabric should be used to cover imperfections of paint lines/corners. they were trying to pressure me into putting the fabric down first and I had to BEG them to let me paint first and they finally let me, and once my shoe was done, they admitted it was better to paint first. * Instructor should be a much more experienced on the sewing machine before sewing the stitches on the entire classes shoes. (In my photos you can see how severely unaligned the stitching is.) I understand the effort but with the cost of the shoe+the class, this should be re-evaluated to be much better. * AVOID RUSHING CLASS PARTICIPANTS I selected grey thread for my stitching, but since the instructor was rushing he chose what was convenient for him. OTHER THAN THAT, THE CLASS WAS A FUN EXPERIENCE!!! I just wish they'd do a better job explaining how the class goes and that MOST of the materials are NOT included PRIOR to the class. For anyone looking to do this class, go with a design in mind and DO NOT hesitate to bring your own materials!! The better materials are costly premium add-ons. The next time I return, it will be to repair this shoe.

Rosie was our host today and she was IMMACULATE! She was so patient with our entire family and guided us through every step. She sewed everything with a FINESSE! Shoutout to J for helping too! This was an AMAZING experience

The store was very organized with all the ppl making their custom shoes. Atmosphere is great...it felt like a gym shoe night club! Great place to go with a big group and do something fun.

Super fun and unique thing to do in Las Vegas!! I started following Majorwavez on Instagram and was pumped to make create my own sneaker designs!! The staff is super friendly and encouraging and all levels are welcome. One important thing to know in advance: the whole thing could take a few hours, so plan to be there for a while (3-4 hours) and let the staff know if you need to be anywhere at a certain time.

There are very few business here in Las Vegas we're customers can either purchase and/or bring in their own sneakers for a custom design. There are a variety of displays and ideas that customers can use as inspiration while developing their own signature look. Creative experts are on-site to assist with the design process and offer suggestions. This is definitely a place were sneaker lovers will feel at home and will have a great time. Designing a personalized shoe that one can call their own is wonderful. The businesses website has a plethora of useful information that will probably answer any questions you might have. If you like wearing sneakers that stand out and are unique this is the spot!

This was such a fun thing to do for our Dance team girls and us moms! When staying in Las Vegas, activities not around gambling, drinking and smoking are limited. This activity did all of those. Located inside the mall attached to our hotel. No car or uber needed. You can bring your own shoes. They don't even have to be Nikes. The owner of this store and his other locations, was so nice! He explained every process. Let me watch and video it. I learned he started this business, during the pandemic. Due to being let go in his previous career. Like so many did, during that time. He's an inspiration to think out of the box. When one door closes. Look for another door. We had the Best time. We will be back to do this at next year's Dance Nationals. #supportsmallbusinesses

Well, it has been over 20 days since I left my second review and emailed this company, and I haven't heard anything from this company. So, once again, great concept, very poor customer service.

My son had the most amazing time creating his own custom shoe.. so much so that he sat another session to make his little brother a custom shoe gift. Thank you Jay for teaching my little guy how to custom make his shoes. Will definitely come again

Found us on there instagram story.

Took my boys here as an activity for them to do (us parents was doing most of the work). It was fun for us all. I would Totally do this again. Time flys when you're having fun. We were there from 1-6pm we could have stayed but I was hungry by then. Great for Solo/Dates/and Family fun.

One of the best experiences I've ever done! Tay was my helper and was absolutely amazing from helping with colors and painters painting. A plus to leave with one of a kind sneaker's. Perfect gift to give someone

    Trust the process.

What an amazing experience. Hands down one of the most creative. To see your idea unfold, absolutely loved it. It did take almost the whole time, but it was structured efficiently. The instructor gave such a great vibe. And always had a smile on his face. The other associates. Were so cheerful and willing to help without hesitation. Would absolutely do this again.

Not until I found Art Classes for kids. My husband and I purchased the sibling boxes for our kiddos, which came with a week-long set of artist-inspired projects, ranging from sculpting, sketching, painting and included art-supplies and a daily Zoom link for our kids to join-in on live instruction from Artist-Owner Kim Bavington and her team! My kids throughly enjoyed her camp, and so did we as they ended the camp with a full-on art-installation of their finished art products on our kitchen walls & living room shelves. Bravo to Art Classes for Kids, for allowing this mom an opportunity to expose our kids to a fun, creative and easy to follow art camp, in the comforts of our own home via Zoom!

These classes show that anyone can become a great artist and that art talent is what you learn from great instructors, not what you are born with. The art that was produced by our young kids is up on our walls and people who come over ask us which artists we are collecting. We tell them, "We collect our kids' art!" This isn't just art training, it's also art history because our kids learned about historically famous artists and then learned more about them by creating art in their style. These are great classes to show your kids that they can create extraordinary art quickly and enjoyably. One of our kids was very excited about participating in the online camp but the other was not that interested. After the first day everyone was a fan and looking forward to creating more art. Kim has come up with an incredible combination of inspiration, technique, and education to create a best practice for how art should be taught to children. What we have discovered is that in Art Classes for Kids everyone is an artist. Thanks Kim and your whole team!

I reached out to this business and sadly learned that there are no places in town that teach this skill. This business does offer other classes working with fused glass so I decided to sign up for one. The cost for my class was only $40 which I thought was very reasonable. Although I am not in this part of town often, the studio was easy to find parking was plentiful in their lot. This business is broken into two areas. When you enter, you are in the gallery and there are various artists featured along with their pieces. Very impressive. In the back of the studio is where all the glass art is created. There are kilns, tools, workbenches etc. My friend and I signed up to create a colorful heart this past Saturday morning. We were warmly greeted by Don who checked us in and then we patiently waited for the class to begin. Barbara and Larry (owners) took us back into the working part of the studio and we all found our places around two tables. Since we were handling glass, we had to wear gloves for safety. The purpose of the class was to create a mosaic style heart/paperweight. There were two large trays at each table filled with colorful, fused glass. After trying various sizes of the glass, I was finally able to finish creating my design and considered my heart masterpiece completed. Larry was extremely informative and helpful throughout the class as was Barbara. I learned from Larry about their extensive involvement with our community. They had just recently held an event for the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. I love a small business that gives back and it makes me want to support them even more. Both Barbara and Larry display a real passion for what they do and enjoy sharing it with others. Larry expressed to me how addicting creating this kind of art an be and I totally believe him. After our hearts were created, they would now be placed in the kiln for firing. Barbara advised all of us that as soon as our hearts were ready, we would be notified and able to pick them up. I have been looking for a creative outlet and I believe I will be back taking more classes and learning more about working with fused glass.
