It was very frustrating and disappointing. It also felt like the main focus was on taking our money rather than providing students with the support and preparation they need to succeed. There was very little help or guidance provided to students who were struggling to pass the course. Two of my son's friends also failed the course and experienced the same lack of support. I believe the school should do more to prepare students for the final exam and provide meaningful assistance when they are having difficulty.

This now being like the 6th time I have taken a CPR class here at CPR society over many years, I…read morehave definitely seen the business model evolve over time. It use to be in person with an instructor who was off script a bit, but brought humor and stole a few hours of my time. Now the facilitation of the CPR class in current day is in my opinion improved in that it is taught from a digital instructor/video and took less than an hour of my time. For people like me who are just needing to brush-up on skills I already know, this is perfect. If you have never taken a CPR class before, it might seem a little strange and you might seek out a class taught with an actual human in front of you. Just understand what you may or may not be getting as to instructors/instruction and book what you might be most comfortable with. Although at the end of the class, there is an opportunity to ask a question to a human, you go the entire class working with others n the class and being watched over cameras but not by an actual human. Again, for a refresh, this works well for me. Efficient, checks the box of my refresh and relatively fast. CPR Society is easy to book classes on-line, electronically driven with manuals on-line and easy to complete with lots of time slots to make to make an appointment work around your schedule.

This was perfect for me and everything I have going on. But, I also want to make sure that my experience is honest and transparent for others that are wanting to make a decision based on more than just the 100% online feature. I will mention that when I signed uo for the school on their website I immediately felt like they were way behind the times and the site still looked and felt like late 90's. It was a little less intuitive than other online schools and somewhat confusing to navigate. The biggest issue I had was the fact that you almost have to print a bunch of documents, INCLUDING THE QUIZES. There are answer guides you can also download or print. This was really strange. I was expecting an electronic form of quiz with results immediately after each quiz. But no, it's just pdf and you self check your answers. This is NOT convenient for modern day learners whatsoever. The training is super basic, its just PDF outlines that an instructor reads through occasionally making additional comments or notes. I would've liked a more up to date training platform, but for the price and online feature I am happy to complete it at my own pace.
