My teen attended Northwest Driving School as a requirement before getting her driver's license, and she had a great experience! The weekend class was informative and helped prepare her for driving. Her driving instructors--Margaret, Debra, and Brittany--were wonderful. They were patient, encouraging, and went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. I truly appreciate the positive experience they provided and would definitely recommend Northwest Driving School to other families! read more

My son bought a Three * package session. First 2 sessions were booked with a "regular car" and a Tesla showed up. When we voiced our concern they told us "teslas drive the same" .... For a new driver I think this is very misleading Next my son rescheduled an appointment got a confirmation text from the driver "confirming a 3:00 pm time" and the appointment day came the next day and they showed up at noon. When we sent in the screen shot they STILL want to charge us the $50 Reschedule fee since the text was "a mistake" Edit: I have previously spoken to the online assistance personal & they informed the owner, I was told they would waive the fee in 24hrs but they never did when I followed up again they told me I would need to speak to the owner since after review "although the text was a mistake but the time was correct" again, I'm busy and if a text straight from the business confirms a time (which we provided) that should be honored my 17 year old was going off the last communication provided by the business They can keep the $50 we will be going elsewhere. read more

I had to finally review this wonderful driving school. This is the second time using Northwest Driving School. Our oldest had Frank and Pedro as instructors. They were excellent. Our middle child had Debra as an instructor for all three two-hour sessions. Debra was excellent as well. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and supportive! We also appreciated her willingness to reschedule his last session due to a school event. The two day in-class drivers education was solid too. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fantastic driving school for your new teen driver. read more

had private lessons with Mr. David Cook years ago, for my spouse. great experience. A+ ... highly recommended.

Our daughter had an incredible experience with this school. She did a combo of classroom and behind the wheel training. Her instructor, Frankie, was patient and helped build her confidence. Today, she passed her driving test on the first try! Also, I loved how easy it was to schedule and reschedule lessons on their online system. read more

My daughter took several lessons with Northwest Driving School and had a rewarding experience. She worked with a couple of instructors who helped build her confidence and strengthen her skills, but her two Tesla driving lessons with Frankie made a significant difference in her progress, and she passed her driving test. He was patient and understanding while also helping her shift her mindset about driving. We are very satisfied with our experience at Northwest Driving School and would highly recommend it! read more

15 1/2 years flew by and all of a sudden our oldest was eligible to obtain his driving permit. We decided on going through Northwest Driving School after looking around. They are certified through the DMV. We went ahead and purchased the 15/50 drivers Ed with drive test( 15 hours classroom instruction and 50 hours of driving instruction). They start off with the classroom portion and we accomplished this over a weekend. Once the classroom portion was accomplished we took him to the DMV to take the test to obtain his permit. Passed the first time. Once the permit was obtained, it was time to start scheduling his driving instruction portion. We broke it up over the course of 7 months. He had several instructors who were all fantastic (Simone, Roy, Zach, and Debra). They all took their time and were very patient with him while trying to get him comfortable driving around the Las Vegas valley. On the day of his drive test at the DMV he was picked up by Debra and given a brief refresher before the start of his actual test. After it was all said and done, we had another driver in the family. I highly recommend this school if you have someone who is new to driving they are very accommodating and will work with you and your young driver on making sure they pass. read more

My son just finished his drivers Ed class and the driving lessons. He loved it. They picked him up and drove him all around the town. They practiced the driving route from the DMV. My son drove with Frankie & Debra and he enjoyed them so much and they taught him a lot. Definitely worth the $ and experience for my son. read more

My son,Cameron, loved his driver's course with Roy Johnson. I purchased (3) 2-hr behind the wheel sessions and every time he would come home and say how awesome and helpful Roy was. Roy was patient and made my son feel confident behind the wheel. We scheduled the last session a few days before his test and Roy took him on the dmv test route's, it really helped because he passed his drivers test with a score of 97!!! Thank you Roy for teaching these young drivers how to be safe out there on our roads! read more

We loved this school. They were very helpful with our questions and concerns. Our daughter had a great experience with her driving instructor as well. She was very anxious and the instructor, Debbie, was wonderful at relaxing her. She enjoyed driving with her and it helped her to pass her test with a 97%!! We would highly recommend this school read more

I just wanted to say how happy I am with Northwest driving school. I had taught my son Alex but wanted the professionals to take him and teach him anything I might have not done and also take my son for his driving test at DMV. They were awesome he had Pedro for his lesson the first time and Dave for the morning of the test. Alex enjoyed having both of the guys they were great and the pricing was very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend Northwest driving school for any driving needs. Thank you to everyone during our time with you. Btw Alex passed his test first try we couldn't be happier. read more

Roy is a fantastic instructor! He gave my son the necessary tools to pass the drivers test and made him feel extremely comfortable behind the wheel. He was friendly, informative and highly skilled at navigating a teenagers nerves and inexperience. My son took three 2-hour lessons with Roy and he feels confident in his driving skills now. I am definitely going to use them again to prepare my daughter! read more

Hired Northwest driving school paid for a packages which includes 3 two hours driving lessons plus one 2 hour driving lessons. Frankie came and taught. At the end of the lessons the person whom I paid for to take lessons still don't make good right turns. Don't know how to stop at stop signs, stop at red light or drive in middle of lane. I asked why and what was told during the lessons, he constantly looked at his cell phone and put down Tesla. I am not sure why he would do that given he is the only game in town to use Tesla to reach and charges a hefty fee. Next time just pay for 1 lesson and teach the rest yourself. He is the worst! read more

I am very disappointed. I booked my son's class 1 month ahead. Every week they keep changing the schedule. I called them and explained that my son has work and school and they can't just keep changing it. They will text on the day of the lesson that they changed the time. Sometimes they have to change instructor which I already told them that I want my son to be with just one instructor but every week there is an issue. If my son's dmv test wont be soon, I will cancel all his schedule and ask for a refund. So unprofessional and no respect for other people's time. read more

These guys get the job done! My 16 year old took the in class combined with the driving course and he had a very positive experience.

I sent my son here to get his on the road driving instruction. All my comments are aimed toward that aspect of their service. Registering him on their website was pretty easy. Once you register, you just pick the course plan by the hours you want to buy and the instructor. For the instructor, you can read their bios to make the best decision for the student driver. When you register for the courses, you just need to have the student driver's instruction permit number on hand. During the height of covid, it was challenging to get my son an appointment for his driving times because there was such a high demand throughout the entire valley. Once you get the appointments, you'll receive an email with the confirmation of the sessions plus a form you will fill out due to covid. That form needs to be submitted to them via email prior to the first session. I was able to get my son a few sessions and he took his exam using their car. Yes, you can reserve a car plus use the option to have their instructor do a practice test just before the appointment with the DMV. I took this option and my son passed his test. My son had both Margaret and Frankie has his instructors. Both are excellent instructors and very patient. My son was scared of going on the freeway, but Margaret got him on 215 and he came back with a huge boost of confidence. This driving school is worth every penny and now my son is on the road with a strong sense of independence. I would recommend this organization. read more

Although I didn't pass the driving test the first time, I passed it 1 week later. I feel that I learned a lot of little tips that were really helpful. Everyone was very nice, and I want to give a special shout out to Roy- Thanks for teaching me how to easily park! Josh S. read more

I had Margaret Estrada as my driving instructor and today I passed my driver's test! I am so happy that I went with Northwest Driving School and chose Margaret. To start off, I took two courses with different instructors. One being Debra and the other Margaret. Debra was an amazing instructor, she was extremely patient with me and is very knowledgeable. Her instructions were very clear and actually helped for the dmv test. At the end of the course she told me my driving was great and provided helpful feedback. On the other hand, on 4/22 when Margaret was my instructor it was a complete different experience. I completely understand that she may be strict, but she was not helpful at all. She kept critiquing me but the only thing she would say is "that is an automatic fail" and that would continue for an hour. I tried to explain to her how I have anxiety and that I felt like she was not helping or being clear with her directions. I was expecting her to at least apologize, but instead she said she is helping me and disregarded what I felt. At this point, she was defending herself loudly rather than coming to an understanding with me. We were practically arguing with each other and that made it difficult for me to drive safely. I tried my best to explain to her how my course with Debra was helpful and how she described things to me and Margaret continued to talk over me and raise her voice. I gave up trying to talk to her and asked for directions home. I am honestly surprised to hear and see that Margaret has great views because it seemed that she wanted me to fail from the start and was not patient either, more like she found it funny. She laughed occasionally when I was telling her how I felt. She was extremely unprofessional on her end and to make things worse, she knew my exam was scheduled 30 minutes after, so that makes me further believe she was trying to fail me. Thankfully, I called the company and I spoke to Luke about my situation. His response was very professional and he completely validated my feelings. He was very empathetic and quick to hear my situation out and gave me some solutions with what I was going through and even convinced me to still take my actual driving exam. I would say his customer service was probably one of the best from things I hear from other's experience and overall it was great talking to him about my situation. I eventually passed my driving test and I would love to give all credit to Debra and I highly recommend scheduling with her. read more

I did my driving course with Margaret! No words can describe how amazing she is as a Instructor and a person. She helped me so much and gave me so much confidence. Being with her, was like being with family. I recommend her 100%. The photo was taking I February..pre covid times read more

This was going to be my second behind the wheel lesson and I have to say I was really disappointed. I had my first lesson with Margret Estrada and she was great! She came early and texted me when she had arrived. I decided to get another lesson but couldn't get her again so I went with Kia Avant instead. She was 15 minutes late and didn't tell me when she arrived. I called the receptionist and she said that she doesn't come to the door, text or call to let you know when she's arrived. It's 108 degrees out so was I just supposed to sit outside in the dying heat for someone who was 15 minutes late? I booked this appointment 1 month in advanced and I didn't go. I canceled and asked for a refund. I'm taking my driving test this week and wanted to feel extra prepared but instead I feel disappointed and angry. read more

Margaret Estrada was fantastic. My son needed a refresher course before his driving test and she provided him with such fantastic support, answering every question he asked. The confidence she provided him with was unbelievable. He was a completely different driver even after a couple of hours of instruction, and scored a 97% on his test. Worth every penny. Thanks Margaret, you're an absolute professional. read more

THIS is the school you want! They come to your house with their training car to pick-up your new driver, have caring instructors, and really explain the rules of the road. Our kiddo told us all about driving rules that we had forgotten. Just make sure to book early, bc they fill up fast. It's worth the wait. We had Pedro & he was awesome! They will also take you to the driving test, but a parent needs to be present at the DMV for students under age 18 years. read more

First of all, this is our second experience with Northwest Driving School. We used them for our daughter 2 years ago and had a great experience with Amber. Now, it is our son's turn. Steve was the instructor that gave him confidence and comfort behind the wheel. Our son said that Mr. Steve not only coached him but asked him what he skills wanted to work on. Our son always came home after each lesson a better driver and excited to share his experiences and accomplishments that day. Steve and this school is indeed a blessing. Our family has trusted them with both of our teenaged children. Thank you Steve for being so caring and motivating! read more

I passed my driving test today. It was my second try and Christopher Genovese really helped me build my confidence. He's not the type of instructor that chats/talks a lot which I kinda like but I would suggest though that he should improve on giving direct feedback to his students like praising them when they do the right thing. Overall, he's patient and taught me great things like driving in the freeway and roundabouts. read more

PASSED TEST with 100% :) I signed up for 10 hours with driving test and let me just say that this whole experience was amazing! From signing up to PASSING my driving test! I signed up online around 9pm & the next morning they gave me a call to confirm everything. I took my five lessons within two weeks. After the 3rd lesson, I was able to schedule for my driving test which was two weeks later. Margaret was ALWAYS early picking me up from home and we always made it back home in time as well. If you're looking for someone who will take away the nerves of being a new driver & looking to build your confidence in driving, Margaret is the one! I looked forward to every lesson and now that it's done, I'm kind of sad. On the day of my test, Margaret picked me up at 915am and we drove around for a bit before heading to the DMV for my appointment at 11am. I took it at the Flamingo DMV & the test was a breeze! Margaret covered everything that I was tested on which made it so easy. I feel much more confident driving now after taking lessons from Northwest Driving School. Very upsetting. My son received a grant from a special non profit organization that helps families of disabled veterans, and granted him lessons to this school. It took days to get even get ahold of this company because there mail box was full, and no response with email also. I was fully prepared to give a 5 star. my daughter was so excited after her first lesson with Marissa. this rating has NOTHING to do with driving instructor Marissa. She was absolutely amazing and actually got my daughter excited each time it was her day to drive. I had her schedule for her drive test with the DMV and coordinated with NWDS and was confirmed with them that someone will pick my daughter up a hour before her drive test and then take her to the DMV. No one contacted today and we were left stranded. I called about 30-40 times in a 40minute time frame and left message after message until someone called me back when it was already our appointment time with the DMV. only to find out that our date was confirmed but the representative did not block off the schedule. I took my daughter out of school early. missed work and now the next appt with the DMV is a month out. I'm so annoyed and just did not know this would be the outcome from such a great experience during the driving lessons with Marissa. read more
