My son had his first driving lesson with John yesterday, he was great! They took a dry run for the path they will take for his license and made sure he knows what they will test for when he goes for his drivers test! read more

I purchased the Gold package (5 lessons) and my instructor was John H. He was amazing! I came into these lessons genuinely terrified of driving--I'm a 37 y/o female who avoided getting a license for years because of fear. From Day 1, John made me feel safe, supported, and capable. His direct and repetitive guidance helped me internalize everything so I could improve quickly and build real confidence behind the wheel. He walked me through all kinds of driving scenarios to help me overcome my anxiety. His calm, patient, and straightforward teaching style made a huge difference. The day before my road test, he ran the full route with me multiple times and practiced the tight Henderson parking until I felt completely ready. I passed my road test with flying colors--100% score, which I was told is rare. I highly recommend John! read more

Richard was so kind with my son. He is a licensed driver but needed some defensive driving skills. Richard was patient calm even when mistakes were made. I definitely recommend him for adults on the spectrum. He took 6 hours with him and ill be adding another 6 next month to really get it down. Very happy with this school read more

There are a lot of driving schools in Las Vegas and after narrowing the field down, we chose Cantor's for our son's driving school. We went with their gold package as well as the pre-drive test refresher course. We were really happy with the knowledge of the instructors and the availability of lessons. We were able to schedule a couple of drive lessons with the same instructor, as well as with other instructors for how different people teach. The drive test refresher was also a welcome lesson. John H. was amazing! We had arranged he would pick up our son from the house and then we would meet them at the DMV for the scheduled drive test. We had a little paperwork issue which was my fault, but John was there and got me the right contact to be able to remedy the issue quickly and still be able to take the drive test. I really appreciate the level of knowledge and care Cantor's puts into their instructors. read more

Stephani is an excellent instructor. My daughter has gained confidence from being her student.

Stephani is THE BEST DRIVING COACH EVER!!!!!! I've had several lessons with her, and she's absolutely the best. She is incredibly knowledgeable about road rules, super friendly, and makes me feel calm and confident while driving--super empowering. I passed my driving test with a score of 93 on my first try! Stephani is one of the few coaches I've heard of who has had many students pass with 100s. If Stephani has any availability, book immediately! Stephani is thorough in her teaching; she'll draw out maps for me and let me ask as many questions as I need. I used to have a crippling fear of driving (I got my license this year at 23), and she gave me the courage to drive alone on the streets. Peggy, the receptionist, has also always been helpful with scheduling. Thank you so much!" read more

My daughter was hesitant to take lessons at first. I was at ease with Cantor's because their instructors are retired police. I Highly recommend James Goddard. He made my daughter feel comfortable and always debriefed me on her progress. After the first lesson with James my daughter was eager to drive and continue with her lessons. She said he was so calm which helped her a lot and for sure made her more confident. Now stop reading and book with James! read more

My instructor was Stephani and she is honestly amazing. I had gotten my permit at 16 and was so excited to drive but my anxiety was through the roof. After my parents tried to teach me for two years we finally decided to try Cantor. I took 11 two hour lessons with Stephani and she really helped ease my worries and bring up my confidence behind the wheel. Now I have my license (almost three years since I first got my permit) and am driving myself everywhere. Stephani was soooo nice and we bonded over our love of theater. She takes everything at your pace and makes sure your DMV ready. It's was truly a GREAT experience !! read more

Very pleased with the lessons, the driver's training and the instructors; however, three star rating for the fact that for the hefty cost, I was a bit put off that after all three lessons, my son was brought home early. The first two lessons he arrived home ten minutes early and the last lesson he came home twenty minutes before his two hour time frame was up. This amounted to a full 40 minutes that I feel he should have had the paid instruction. If he arrived back in our neighborhood ahead of time, these last minutes could have been used practicing residential, but instead, he was dropped off back at home with some quick notes from the instructor and that was it. read more

Their drivers are lovely and take the time and care to train you to drive. I worked with Rich D and Richard B. I have no complaints from the driver instructors. My one star rating is in regards to their customer service. I emailed them on Sunday saying I need to cancel/reschedule my appointment, which they acknowledged. On Tuesday (the day before my scheduled appointment), I got a reconfirmation voicemail. I called them as soon as I could at 10pm. I have emailed them multiple times explaining that I work during their business hours majority of the time so it's difficult to call in. Then at 2:08AM, I got a condescending text message about how I am calling them at 2am. How am I supposed to know they have calls forwarded to a cell phone number? Businesses have voicemail and email for a reason. Their attitude makes me really disappointed. read more

I booked 3 appointments with Joseph Micochero which ended up being 6 hours of driving time and it was the most beneficial experience for me when it came to learning how to drive. Joe was so kind and patient with me which gave me the confidence to trust myself and most importantly DRIVE! I'm so proud to say that I passed my drivers test on the first try and I truly think it's all because of the Cantor Driving School. Definitely recommend!!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about Stephanie! My daughter was very comfortable with her and she was ready for the driving test! Stephanie took her all around the area where she would take the test and pointed out some important things - like school zones, speed limits etc. I'm very happy with the six hours my daughter spent with Stephanie and am confident that she is ready to drive! read more

My son had the BEST EXPERIENCE with Richard Bradley. He was thorough and so knowledgeable! He took the time to debrief with us (the parents) after every lesson so we would know what to work on with our son before his next lesson. All Cantor's customer service correspondence was fast & efficient as well. They scheduled my sons driving test and all the logistics of Richard picking him up prior to his exam. AND He passed with flying colors! ALL THANKS TO RICHARD!!!!!!! He was AMAZING. Nothing negative about this experience with Cantor's Driving School. Do yourself and your KID a favor and use this company! Worth every penny. read more

Having looked into the competing driving schools, we chose Cantor's Driving School based on communication, convenience and value. We are beyond ecstatic about the service and quality we received for my son's driving lessons! Lavanita B., was as professional and knowledgeable as we could have hoped for. She made me , my wife and (most importantly) our son feel comfortable and confident. I just want to thank Lavanita and Cantor's for doing such a great job want everyone to know about it! read more

My 17 year old son took 3 lessons from Jim and they were fabulous. He was patient but clear and gave him the confidence he needed to drive without being so nervous. Invaluable insight into the driving test was given to him and he passed with a 90% this week!!! Side note: we called around to 4 other driving schools and 3 never responded and one scheduled us only then to tell us they don't service our area. All other schools were so rude or unresponsive. So happy we found Cantor and HIGHLY recommend them! read more

I called to ask a question about the Law Enforcement discount since I couldn't find the information online . They have an automated message but no one answered so I called back a few time and finally left a message. I got a call one minute later and the representative Peggy was extremely rude . Telling me that she sees I've called multiple times and basically scolding me on how I can do everything online. I explained to her that I had a question I couldn't find the answer to and she still continued to be very rude. I said I would go with another company who doesn't treat customers this way. I normally don't write reviews but I felt very disrespected, especially since I was about to spend $1,000 on Driver's Ed. I called back asking to speak to a manager and she told me no one would speak to me . She also informed me of the times I called and said no other company would even call me back as fast as she did. I let her know I wasn't intentionally bothering her and I thought it was an automated call center with multiple representatives. Even then she continued to be very rude and told me to do it online . I think a business should not treat clients the way I was treated . I'll take money else where. If this is how Cantor's driving school operates I don't want them teaching my teen how to drive. Just a warning for other potential customers. read more

I registered my daughter for the 6 hrs driving course and her instructor was Rich. She nothing but positive things to say about him. He taught her to parallel park which I'm happy about because I can't. On the first day they go over the basics of the car so you don't get 2 hrs of driving on that day but the other days you do. I would recommend them to teach your child if you are getting frustrated with them. read more

Richard Herold was absolutely amazing. I was terrified of driving and he boosted my confidence so much. He was super easy to talk to and I felt extremely comfortable. Day 1 I had never been on a road, and by my third lesson I was driving on the freeway with confidence!!! I highly recommend this place, it was the greatest experience I could've asked for!! read more

Bob and Joe helped teach our twin daughters how to the parking, braking and confidence when driving. Thank you!

I ended up needing to take the license test three times before passing. I did feel super comfortable behind the wheel and when being instructed but when it came time to take the test I failed twice. It is my fault for failing and no one else's but maybe the instructor could have taught more of the rules while on the road, such as school speed limit, not to just drop speed when entering the school zone but to gradually do it, etc... When I failed I had three automatic fails that I didn't know about or wasn't informed about so maybe just the small details would've helped in passing had I been informed. Again, failing was my fault but taking the driving lessons I was assured I was ready by the instructor which gave me false confidence that I knew what I was doing and didn't need to know anything more. read more

Very happy with the organization, lessons, responsiveness to questions! Thoroughly recommend. So far my daughter had lessons from Matt. He was great so we booked another course. Unfortunately, Matt is full so she'll be going with different instructors and I'm 100% confident the experience will continue to be great. One thing to bear in mind, they're busy and lessons book up a good couple of weeks out. read more

I used other driving schools and was not happy with the service. The Cantor driving school is by far THE BEST in the city. My instructor, Joe, was courteous, punctual and excellent. He taught me well, and knew exactly what to emphasize for my driving test. He also made the lessons a lot of fun! If you need to learn to drive, I strongly recommend that you don't waste your time with other schools and go right to the Cantor school! read more

I just wanted to say thank you Joe for giving me the confidence I needed to pass my test on the first try!!!!

Stephani was an amazing instructor and I went from being terrified of driving to passing the test my first try in a little over a month with her! She is so patient and knowledgeable not only about driving, but also about what you will be tested on. If you are scared of driving or haven't been able to pass on your own I would HIGHLY suggest this school. I was always picked up on time or early, always felt like I got my moneys worth and was treated kindly and respectfully. THANK YOU STEPHANI! read more

I had been trying to teach my daughter to drive for several months. She was a reluctant driver and I was nervous. I called Cantor's Driving School and they sent a wonderful instructor named Joe Micochero who helped her to become confident in her driving and taught her not only how to pass her driving test but also how to drive in everyday situations in this crowded city. I am very pleased with her progress and the change in her driving. Joe is a patient instructor who cares about student success. We had taken our teen out driving a few times but decided to try a driving school so he could learn the basics! He had James as his instructor and he was amazing! Totally forgot to write this review after my lessons a while ago. I took lessons because my mother thought it would help me become less nervous on the road, and this definitely taught me everything I needed to know. I had only been on the road two or three times in Las Vegas before my lessons. My instructor Norman taught me defensive driving skills that helped me become capable of passing my driving test and becoming a successful and safe driver who is on the road every day now. I much recommend to anyone who wants to learn or improve their driving skills. Awesome :) I also took their online Driver's Ed course and that was awesome too! read more

Highly recommend this school. Everything was smooth from the beginning to the end.
