We just wanted to take the time to thank you all for the amazing job you all have done taking care of our little one. You guys did it!! He is ready for Kindergarten and we have to thank you all for your dedication and for taking the time to work with him. We truly felt the love and the care all these years we have been there. Every staff member is very special to us. You guys are so personal and we felt the love from the Creative Kids family. We are very grateful to have chosen you. We will forever remember and treasure all the wonderful memories we made with you all. We are so pleased with our experience. I know some days can be tough, but never forget that you make a difference in each one of our children's lives, especially at this age. You all have a special gift. It takes so much talent and so much patience to care for all these little ones. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. We will miss you all very much. *** Note: The note above was our last e-mail to them before we left this August. Are they perfect? Of course not. You will never find a perfect place. But they try to do their absolute best to make sure our children are safe and feel special. We have a lot of experience with different places since Jacob is our 4th child. It is hard to find a place like this. Sometimes I would walk past the rooms with the babies, and I would glance and see the teachers caring for those little ones with so much love. Holding the baby in their arms and feeding it like if it was their own. I remember when Jacob was old enough to be potty trained. His teacher asked me to bring extra underwear and she trained him for me. As far as the food, Jacob never complained and would eat everything. I think they got a great team right now. I would definitely recommend. Their rates are also very affordable compared to some other places.

Thank you for creating such a safe and loving environment!"

we had a good experience with La Petite on Boseck drive. Our son began there as an infant and that…read moreexperience was great, although both of his teachers at that time have since left. The main issue with La Petite is the same as with almost any other in Clark County and that is low pay for the staff and thus the consequent regular turnover. It's tough to have consistency for your child with that problem. This is the fault of whatever corporation that owns the business and its relentless pursuit of profit. the director of this daycare, Crystal, is wonderful and often overworked due to the above problem. we always felt our son was safe and La Petite is especially great for having a lot of flexibility with drop off and pickup as well as the relatively low price. There were times where we considered trying to move our son, but opted against it after seeing that the things we didn't like would be either the same or worse at other places. I think all parents do this As you never really know what you're doing for sure when raising your first kid. I'm glad he went there for 4 years and don't regret it

While Candil Hall offers a great curriculum, there are too many problems that contribute to a poor…read morelearning experience for children. First, the staff turnover is incredible. One year my daughter had 3 different teachers. Each year they seem to have all new teachers and staff is constantly coming and going- other than about half of the teachers who are all related to the owner. The school is family owned which can contribute to a family feel of the school overall. However, if you are not related to the family, personal friends with the family, or volunteer with the school, your child and your family will be outcasted and excluded. Only some kids are invited to play sports. Kids they do not want on their sports teams are not even invited to try out. The principal/owner Mr. Diller regularly yells and swears at the kids. He is demeaning and borderline abusive to the students. Candil Hall also allows bullying and in some cases promotes or praises students who bully. Children who are bullied are not protected by the school. They get no help even when they feel so unsafe they don't want to go to school. Student to student threats are not taken seriously. It's incredibly disappointing the lack of concern and support shown to children at this school. While my child did leave there more advanced academically, she also left there with psychological trauma, fear, distrust of schools and teachers, and overwhelming feelings of confusion because she felt so unsafe in the place that she should feel the safest. I regret ever sending my child to this school and wish I could undo all of the trauma Candil Hall has caused her. Additionally, if you ever have any issues with the teachers, the staff, the family, etc. you will be talked negatively about and they will spread rumors to other parents about you. This school is not worth it, please look elsewhere.

They have a Thanksgiving show, Christmas show, end of year party/celebration, and other fun stuff for kids and parents. My daughter is going into 4th grade now, and she still remembers this place and her teachers. Pretty incredible since she was here from ages 2-5. Very friendly, family oriented staff, that takes the time to get to know you and your kid(s). I think the bad reviews for this place are from "Karen's" that won't be happy anywhere. Great place overall! My daughter (Tonantzin) misses this place!

The first time I was understanding, They said there was a problem in their system that charged everyone and they had to refund tons of people. Now a second time is just unbelievable. This is not good business. I also want to say that I feel this place is way too overpriced for not being open on the weeekends and earlier than 2pm during the summer. You really only have the option to bring your kid here between 3pm-7pm. That doesn't give parents enough flexibility. The only good thing I can say is the tutors were always very nice and helpful towards my daughter. But would I recommend this place to other parents? Probably not.

If you're looking for a great tutoring center in the north part of town, I highly recommend…read moreTutoring Club of North Las Vegas! Background: When covid happened, we pulled our daughter, Mackenzie, out of preschool that spring and she stayed out of the school environment through the summer. She started kindergarten virtually, but unfortunately, she was one that did not build a good enough foundation to help her succeed in her schoolwork, even after they went back in person. Fall 2022: Fast forward to this school year, and we're at parent teacher conferences reviewing her MAP scores. She was essentially reading at a kindergarten level, and performing at a 1st-ish grade level in math. So, we needed to do something to help her catch up. We researched several places local centers and also considered private tutoring from teacher friends. We decided on The Tutoring Club for several reasons: 1) We liked the director, Jessica, who had the same ideology of how we learned "back when we were in school" and how their curriculum supported it. 2) We liked the flexibility to help Mackenzie with her school work, in addition to the curriculum they had her do. 3) We liked that it's a brick and mortar. We can always count on them being there, and they are also reasonable with absences - if we had to miss a day here and there because of our other extracurricular activities. Mackenzie started attending tutoring in mid-October and went for 2 hour sessions, 3 days a week. She loved it! The tutors incentivized the work so that she had a goal. They made it fun for her, and it motivated her to want to learn to read. The tutors are friendly and they made the experience enjoyable for her. Spring 2023: It's now May, and we received Mackenzie's final MAP scores of the year. Her test scores substantially grew over the entire school year, and she is now above grade level for both subjects! I would attribute her success completely to the work that the Tutoring Club has done with her, as we never changed anything in our home life. We are so grateful for the help that the Tutoring Club provided, and again, we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great tutoring center in North Las Vegas!
