I knew it was going to be a good school once I met Ms Joy (administration) All the instructors are different which I think is good because everyone learns differently I love that all of them work in the shop and own their own barbershops because they have the experience to guide you and mold your for success. And they treat you like adults They don't baby you which I appreciate because it help you take accountability for your own actions. And mr Allen. Wow to see an owner be so hands on with his students and continue to help them outside the school. read more

I graduated a few months ago and I have nothing but good comments about my experience throughout the barber course. All the instructors are very well trained, and they will teach you different haircut techniques. I had never cut hair in my life and at the end of the course I felt fully prepared to start my new career. I am very grateful to all the staff at the school, trust the process and hard work will take you to success! Thank you, Masterpiece! read more

I attended this school a few months back and graduated..Staff is very friendly, they go above and beyond to get you prepared in order to get you to the next level. If you do what you need to do you should have no Issues..the people leaving bad reviews and talking down on the school are the same people that didn't take their barbering career serious, you gotta remember that at the end of the day it's on you to wanna learn. So the goal is simple, study, do what they say and finish all the services required. 1500 hours(9 months) go really fast. And then it's off the shop to make serious money. I have no complains, Masterpiece let me invest in myself and gave me an opportunity to change my life forever. Thankful for all the staff and all of their experiences and knowledge they dropped on me. read more

Absolute best Barber school in town. It's new and improved filled with instructors or Barber gods as I like to call them who will put you on game! I am a Cosmo cross over so I only had to do 400 hours. I already know how to cut hair very well so I really didn't learn much about hair cutting (not trying to discredit them AT ALL I'm just really really good) but what I did learn was that the way I maneuver around the chair people should know that I am a professional and I learned that from them. I learn the details of Barbering, the science, the history, and of course how to become a monster with a straight razor!!! The school benefited me like crazy, the details in Barbering are far what you can imagine and I'm super proud I can call me self a barber and even more proud that I get to call myself a Masterpiece Alumni. This school really is the one. Clean, fun, layed back environment. Thank you Mr. Allen, Thank you Mr. Green. I will never let you down. Thanks.....for everything read more

I was told that I can get my money back for the down payment that I paid back in Nov-Dec. They told me to go to the school this past Friday and someone would be there to refund the money back on my card. I drove almost 30 minutes to the school, only to find that nobody was there. They're no longer answering my phone calls and the email address on their website keeps sending me error messages when I try to email them. VERY unorganized read more

I went to Masterpiece Barber College based off of all my suite mates who attended and said wonderful things about the school. I was a Cosmetologist trying to break in to the barber world. So the course I needed was the 400hr. My experience was a challenging one because I went in thinking this was going to be easy and then failed the written portion of the test. Mr. Allen allowed me to come back and then I failed again, But this time it was the cut. By this time I was completely determined to pass and Grateful that he would allow me to come back. Because every time someone fails they are preventing someone new from starting their course. I loved what the school taught me beyond the book of barbering which is work ethic, and how to give back to the community because that's what Mr. Allen does. read more

Great way to get a good haircut on a budget! Although, because the barbers are still unlicensed students, the quality and consistency WILL vary between each experience. My recommendation: Be VERY precise about how you want the end result to look. And check them along the way to be sure you're achieving the results you requested. Doing so helps the students learn, after all. read more

Masterpiece was one of the best experiences I've ever had in a school! All the instructors are passionate of their students. Big shout out to Mr. Allen, Mr. Greene, Mr. G and Ms. Joy for all the support! Definitely recommend this school! read more

Worst barber shop ever , don't go. Worst experience I've ever had. Never again. Worst service

Great service! Bought my son here, found them on instagram. Students are well trained. I wasn't sure what I wanted so the student showed me some pictures and a few minutes later my son had it. I went in the am, so I literally had no wait! It was my son's first time and the student was very patient with him, he let my son feel the Clippers so he wouldn't be scared but ultimately my 4 year old said it tickled. Glad he enjoyed it. Reasonably priced, glad I could leave a tip. We'll worth it read more

The teachers their, one is also the owner are some scandalous people. They both tried to shatter my dreams of becoming a barber by treating me like shit, talking to me like shit and not helping me when needed while I attended this school. Also tried to make me meet outside of school to discuss school issues that they caused and I refused. Also threatened to kick me out if I didn't so I'm no longer there nor did I get to graduate. read more

I have been going to Masterpiece Barber College for well over two years now, and I've yet to receive a bad haircut there; moreover, I've also gotten many of the best haircuts in my life at Masterpiece. The lead instructor / owner is outstanding in what he does: instructing his student barbers and managing the floor. His crew of cutters always listens to my instructions and executes them, almost always flawlessly. I got yet another sweet old school sidepart cut today. I will be getting many more in the future! read more

I tried not to give any stars, but the app makes me give at least 1. This barber college is terrible. The simple fade/trim I needed took about an entire hour to do, because the instructor had to come out and show the student how to properly do it. As if it was really hard to begin with??? He cut waayy too low from what I asked for. The instructor in general seemed like he had an attitude, and I was not pleased at all! To add the cherry on top, I got no sort of apology for the difficulty they had in the process. $10 cuts? More like $5, cause that's what they're worth. Highly DO NOT recommend. read more
