This program claims to stand for student success, but that is far from the reality. The staff…read moreconsistently fail to advocate for students, show little accountability, and appear far more interested in collecting tuition than supporting education. The Respiratory Therapy program is especially disappointing and clearly in need of major restructuring Many instructors are disengaged, unapproachable, and outright rude to students including Concerns are routinely ignored, communication is poor, and leadership is essentially absent. A large portion of staff seem disconnected from both students Multiple clinical sites have openly expressed negative experiences with this school and its faculty staff and embarrassing reflection of how the program is run. For the cost of tuition, the facilities are unacceptable. The building is small, outdated, and not remotely worth what students are paying. Students feel unsupported, unheard, and misled about what this program actually offers. There is a widespread lack of professionalism, and serious rumors about inappropriate behavior circulate due to the absence of transparency and accountability

Throughout my time here, I witnessed many positive changes that directly benefited students and enhanced our learning experience. The faculty has been incredibly supportive, advocating for students' concerns while maintaining transparency and accountability. They provided the necessary resources for those willing to take initiative in their education and seek help when needed. Dean Green, in particular, actively listened to our feedback as nursing students and implemented meaningful changes that improved the program. The instructors were dedicated to our success, guiding us through complex nursing concepts and ensuring we were well-prepared for clinical practice. Hands-on experience in both the skills lab and clinical rotations was invaluable, allowing us to apply what we learned in real-world healthcare settings. These experiences truly reinforced our critical thinking and patient care skills. Overall, my time here was a transformative journey, and I am grateful for the education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences that have prepared me to begin my career as a nurse. For students who are committed to their success, this program provides the tools and support needed to excel. I've made long-lasting relationships with faculty, and students from different terms and programs and look forward to staying in touch :)

Anybody who's been interested in secondary education during this epidemic knows how hard it is to…read moremake it work. NTI makes it happen. I was a reinforcing ironworkers apprentice for 416. Awesome job right? Wrong. Sure they pay was great and there were amazing benefits too but the people and culture are absolutely terrible. I found myself in a position where I loved my work but absolutely hated my job. I knew I had to get out so when we inevitably got laid off due to Covid, I applied for and received a grant through DETR that is specifically designed for adults who want to change careers. I didn't look back. I knew I liked and wanted to work with my hands, I knew I couldn't be stationary and the added bonus of running diagnostics made HVAC on an obvious choice. NTI was the superior choice among the HVAC programs covered by the grant. In comparison to all, it should really be the only one. I took the hybrid course (20 chapters online and 5 weeks in person). They have awesome facilities and a bunch of different equipment for you to tinker with and learn all the ins and outs. The front staff is awesome as I'm sure are the other instructors but Adam (the instructor I had) is the shit. He legitimately cares if you understood the material and what's happening in the systems. He'll come in early before class to work with you if you're struggling and he'll stay late just the same. Adam is a super cool dude too, he made class really enjoyable because he clearly wasn't there to collect a paycheck and enjoys teaching a trade in which he is an expert. You probably aren't going to believe this but, on the 3rd week of class, during Wednesday's instruction I was reaaaaallly slacking off so ADAM pushed me to do something productive at least. I filled out a job application on indeed for one of the top HVAC companies in town and since I had time, I wrote a good cover letter. I was called the very next morning for an interview! I started work on monday of week 4! Two weeks BEFORE graduation.... Now I make waaaaay more than I did ironworking and it's significantly easier. Guys it won't be easy and it'll take a lot of work but if you want to better yourself you must CREATE YOU'RE OWN PATH and take control of your life. Set a goal and commit head first.
