He took him to the area where he was testing the next week and explained things the instructors look for and pointed out a few tricky areas, including construction zones, school zone, a street where the speed limit changes, and a few other things. My son drove on the highway and even the strip area. I even still get anxious driving on the strip at times. After the drive, Dwayne would let me know what my son still needed to work on and what he did really good on. We had the pleasure of meeting Alicia and Dwayne and both were great. My son felt really comfortable with Dwayne and Dwayne did more evenings. My vision isn't as good in the evenings so I was really appreciative that we could book out in the evening with somebody else driving with my son. After them, I can drive but not well. And last thing, my instructor always interfered with my steering wheel. I totally appreciate it starting off because I sucked but by the last few lessons, I felt like I got the hang of it and just needed practice but I didn't learn when he was always taking over the wheel. Overall my experience was good and I do recommend them for any type of driver including first time drivers. But if you're a first time driver, don't expect to be great by the end of it.
