I went to one of her free classes at Whole Foods today. She was funny, charming and entertaining for two straight hours of vegan cooking. On the menu was salad, dressing and jambalaya. You might think learning about how to make salad would be a snoozefest, but Mayra knows how to make it fun and delicious. She doesn't measure ingredients, adds whatever she (or her audience) wants and throws in all sorts of tips during the session. She encourages everyone to try vegan food (or go vegan) by being passionate and excited, but not preaching. She and her team made every effort to ensure their guests were fed, able to ask questions and had a good time. She said she's opening a restaurant downtown in July--looking forward to that! My son has been going here for 5 months now and we love this day care so much. The staff is so…read morevery caring and experienced and loving. We took our 2 year old to a different daycare that charges much less and they couldn't help our son. He's highly sensitive and he's only 2 so his whole remembered life experience is during quarantine. It was hard for him to adjust. But they laid with him until he got used to napping there and he adjusted really well They keep the kids busy with projects all the time. We get pictures of him drawing and playing outside and learning with interactive toys. Like "fishing" or "milking a cow" or figuring out fun puzzles. In the spring they gardened!!! I can't show him gardening at home. I don't have a yard or the space or time to do that. He gets to play with dirt at school!!! He loves it. He really really loves it. And I was afraid he wouldn't be able to go to daycare yet. I didn't know what we were going to do. And because of the teachers here he's thriving. And he already knows his colors! I help with that too but I really think it's Kindercare that got him there so quickly.

I still got billed 750$ a week even though they were not even there ... which now I am in debt over this and don't understand why I am being billed for a service I'm not using whatsoever... so I feel like they are getting over on me on that aspect .. aside from that my kids loved it . Our meal started off with the lobster bisque which was absolute perfection. Next we had a wedge salad, which was topped with bacon and blue cheese, and some other items, including tomatoes. I am not a wedge salad person, and I was converted. For our meal we had filet mignon on top of a bed of potatoes with asparagus. It was absolutely delicious and I could barely finish it. The meal ended with crème brûlée, which I cannot say enough great things about. Overall, it was one of the best dinners I have ever had. From the presentation, to the wonderful personalities of Chef' Lisa and her assistant, to the great company, it was a beautiful night with beautiful food.
