    Brisket Nachos

SOLID 5+ STARS. Took out of town visitors here for lunch. And we started with some appetizers: bobcat fries; brisket nachos; and potstickers All were huge portions and all delicious. For our main entree: a grilled cheese; a patty melt; and the bacon queso burger were chosen and all were served with fries, all were quite tasty. Our server, Lacy, was very attentive and very personable. When we return, we will definitely ask for Lacy! The vibe was chill college town hangout chic. Nice change of pace for the very bland atmosphere of a chain restaurant.

I sat for 50 minutes waiting and not 1 person came to help me. I walked to the bar and asked the 1 waiter if I'm supposed to order somewhere else, he ignored me so i just stared until he said, yeah the bartender can help you. So i walk to the empty area of the bar and waited another few minutes for the bartender to take my order before i just gave up and left. There was female waitress (blonde) she walked around in circles doing nothing or playing on her phone. I've never waited 50 minutes in an empty restaurant before, was ridiculous. Never again will i return to this hole. See video for evidence of empty and picture of waiter just standing there on phone.

"Fried Mack n Cheese" if that's what you wanna call it

Unfortunately, our experience at the CRAFThouse left a lot to be desired. Despite the restaurant only having a few occupied tables, it took an unreasonably long time for anyone to even acknowledge our presence. We ordered water, a round of drinks, and an appetizer. The blue raspberry margarita was undrinkable -- it tasted overwhelmingly like rubbing alcohol with no hint of flavor, and we ended up sending it back. For the appetizer, we tried the fried mac and cheese, which tasted like it had been pulled straight from the freezer and deep-fried. It lacked seasoning, texture, and overall appeal. As for the chicken quesadilla, it was edible but bland -- definitely nothing to write home about. By the time we left, we were all joking (half-seriously) about whether we'd end up with food poisoning. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this spot based on our visit. The quality just didn't match the expectations. Not to mention they had tvs SO LOUD! We had to yell at each other just to engage in a conversation ...

Only 2 of what i would consider craft brews, just because its not bud light doesnt make it craft. Burnt is NOT medium rare, waaaaaaay overcooked burger. Not great just edible. Service was pretty good. Chicken sandwich is chicken jerky.

    Bad queso

Don't get the queso it's trash and messed up my drinks. Bad queso, bad queso, bad queso.

To go daiquiris! Mitchell did a great job serving us. The vibe was chill and you can tell it's a great spot to come hang out with friends.

Mac & Cheese (Side) Hawaiian Smoked Brisket Tacos (2pc)

I was in town for a work visit and stopped here based on a quick glance at the menu. The service was great but the food was disappointing. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ tacos and it comes with a side. The chopped brisket tacos came out with cold pineapple slapped on top straight from a can of pineapple chunks. It was meh. The brisket was ok but the pineapple really brought this down quite a bit. The pulled pork Mac & cheese was the side I chose. It was inedible. The Mac & cheese alone was bland and the meat on top was not great. I tried to add bbq sauce, but it did not help. I usually box all leftovers because I hate food waste but I left the Mac & cheese on the table.

This is a college bar/restaurant and is exactly what you'd expect. The food was OK, the drinks were OK. Our server was really good and got this review an extra star. He was fast and came back plenty of times but not too much. They have a lot of frozen drink options just beware of massive ! I don't think we'll be back. Not a bad experience, just better options around.

The staff was on it the whole time--attentive without hovering, and our waitress actually seemed to like her job (rare these days). Place was clean, too, which again... late night. Impressive. We did the Dinner for Two for $40 because I love a deal that doesn't feel like a deal, and this one delivered. Appetizer, two entrées, dessert--no weird upcharges, no "that's not included" surprises. I got the chicken with vegetables and pasta, plus garlic bread and a salad. Everything tasted way better than a $40 bundle has any right to. The other entrée was a burger and fries--simple, hot, and legitimately delicious. For the app, we grabbed the cheese bites (both cheddar and mozzarella) and honestly, I could've eaten a bucket of them. Dessert was a giant slice of cheesecake that looked like it belonged in a display case and tasted even better. Overall? Shockingly great experience. Fast, clean, delicious, and an actually good value. If every late‑night dinner went this smoothly, I'd never cook again.

Since we ordered basically one of everything - here are our recommendations. Appetizers GET THIS: 1. Corn dog shrimp (think shrimp tempura) - light, flavorful, crunchy YUM 2. Cathead biscuits NOT THAT: 1. Street corn queso dip not a favorite for our table. The cheese tasted thick and plastic like... Velveeta vibes... not much flavor Meals GET THIS: 1. Hangar Steak 2. Creole shrimp & grits 3. Chicken fried steak Not that: 1. Horseradish crusted salmon - I didn't try it but the two people who ordered at our table were disappointed and wished they would've gotten one of the above Desserts GET THIS: 1. Bread pudding was delicious! Not overly sweet & the added white chocolate gives it that dazzle dazzle 2. Chocolate Espresso Brownie - perfection NOT THAT: 1. Banana cream pudding. Didn't taste much other than PB - it was like eating a giant spoonful of it and trying to swallow.

Not quite sure why the food was subpar, but there were 10 of us who all agreed we wouldn't return for food. There is a swanky little cozy speakeasy in the basement that may be good? There was over an hour wait for food due to how obviously busy a bar is on International Wear Green and Drink Beer Day, which didn't concern us because we had already eaten. I went to the bar and ordered (no wait staff at the tables). I ordered the Fish-n-Chips w/ a Pearl Snap, my date had the Biggy BBQ Mac Burger with a Dragon Fruit Daiquiri. For the positives: our drinks were very good, hard to mess up a draught beer, but it was not flat & just cold enough. She absolutely loved the daiquiri, side note- she's with me so standards aren't super high. Bar staff were super helpful and attentive, patio was very chill and secluded from the other spots surrounding it. The bathroom was clean and didn't smell like vomit. Negatives: My fish and chips were below expectations. Their grease was entirely too hot and it was flash fried causing the batter to be too crispy and the fish was piping hot. The selection of cod was not good either most of the pieces were blackened meat and the chips were crinkle cut fries, a letdown. I wasn't expecting a London level plate but it was a very sad and lonely one. Her burger was loaded with BBQ sauce and her mac-n-cheese balls were fried similarly causing the same burnt batter. It wasn't the worst meal I've had at a chain beer joint, looking at you Fox and Hound, but it wasn't close to the best. The Flying Saucer has a very good bar style fish and chips plate that costs about the same but they pay attention to the details that make it better. Overall I would not recommend and I will not be going back but in a pinch it won't make you sick.
