Definitely the go-to spot for sandwiches! I came here while visiting Durango and was craving a…read moresandwich and ended up finding 2nd Deli. I ordered a ham, cheese, lettuce and mayo sandwich since I was sharing with my little sister. It was everything I wanted in that moment. They not only have a ton of different sandwiches on their menu, but they also have a full bar. A great spot to grab sandwiches and drinks while in Durango!

The most extraordinary turkey sandwich I can recall partaking in. I can't believe that I'm in a…read moresmall Colorado town, where often, mediocre food is the rule, and burgers are typically the only item most restaurants are capable of mustering. This sandwich is truly epic. The wheat bread is from a local bakery. Instead of it being toasted in a perfunctory, afterthought manner, it is thoroughly toasted right at the point of the wheat kernels cracking, engendering the goodness only wheat can provide. The bacon is properly cooked, with no hint of undercooked slime present. The green chili tastes as though it was brought here this morning from Hatch, with the whole of the ingredients being uniquely fresh. Finally, the sriracha mayo sauce provides just the right presence of spice, uniquely accenting the green chili. Turkey itself is great, but I confess, is so overshadowed by the excellence present throughout the sandwich, that it hardly occupies the center stage. On another note, a definite problem here is that the water glass conveying a distinct taste of soap residue. It's bad. This happened the last time that I was here, as well. I did tell the owner about this today. Pricing is just right and seating can be awkward at times. I look forward to returning.

My husband had similar comments about this roll. Worth a stop if you want a sandwich, quick bit to eat.

Lucky for us, Purg is pretty prepared with "Burn kits" for the exact reason (obviously not mentioned before riding the slide itself) but that helps EXCEPT the fact that it only included 1 bandaid.
