Note there is a review by Howie who is a great reviewer from Albuquerque but the review is 9 years old and it's changed here in Pagosa a lot. We ordered…read moretwo pulled pork sandwiches, onion rings, a small side of slaw, and a side of BBQ sauce just in case the sandwiches were lacking! They were not, and the side of BBQ sauce was unnecessary, but better safe than sorry. The pulled pork on that pretzel bun SHHHHMACKS! I'll definitely be back for another one.....next week! I'll drive through a snow storm for that pig! Even better than the sandwich was the Onion Rings. Haven't had rings like that in....... maybe ever! They were cooked great, and so crunchy but slightly soft inside! They are a bit pricey for the smallish amount you get, but it is BBQ so I expected a bigger bill from the jump. The cole slaw isn't my favorite, but made a decent crunchy topper to add into the sandwich. The guy that took our order and then brought our food out was really great as well. Can't wait to come back and try more!

It's soggy, not fresh and frankly tastes like a salad which is two days old - not good. I will not buy again. Whomever has taken over the Deli needs to understand that cabbage soaked in vegetables juices, days old, is not the same as a fresh salad.

They have pretty much all your standard groceries including household cleaning and cooking standards. Want something to make tortillas? They have that. The marinated meats truly take the stage. They have several different kinds of asada and prepared meats. My favorite tho, it they are the only place o have found in town that sells what I call a KBBQ (Korean BBQ) kalbi cut. They call it the costilla de res. It's the short rib with the 3 small bones. Nommm. Oh don't forget to get the homemade tortilla chips they sell there too. Plus a panadería and place to buy piñatas

The line was super long when we arrived and we waited about 20 minutes to order. His family said it was the longest they've ever seen it. I ordered the Mushroom Belford Burger, medium well, with no onions. My partner got the same but with the onions and cooked medium. The rest of our group each got the Signature Burger, medium rare. We also split two orders of large fries. My partner got a root beer and I got a cherry cream soda. Everything was delicious! It was absolutely worth the wait. My burger was more towards well done than medium well, which is something I see a lot and I think I'm just going to start ordering medium any time I get a burger now. It was juicy and delicious, and the rosemary garlic aioli was delicious! The fry sauce was also some of the best I've had, and we left the cup scraped clean. The fries tasted fresh and were well-cooked. My partner said the root beer was great and my cherry cream soda was delicious. I had gotten a small and I was contemplating going back to order another in a large, it was that good! All of the employees we interacted with were super friendly. It was a bit of a struggle to find a table outside just because of the holiday weekend, but we found a perfect table that fit all of us under a tree. We took a little walk by the pasture and read the info signs after dinner which was a great way to end the evening. This place is fantastic and well worth the wait! It is pretty expensive (we paid about $146 after a 20% tip) so it may be better for special occasions, but it is all so fresh and pure that it's very much worth the price you pay. My partner and I don't live in Durango but his family does, so I'm hopeful we will be back the next time we visit.
