I was promptly given menu and offered beverage. I decided to go with the clothesline bacon appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised when I was presented with a clothesline with bacon hanging from it, and rosemary on top. The chef then pulled out his torch and heated the bacon, and set the rosemary on fire. What a show! The people next to me had to order it just because it looked great(and tasted great too!) I ordered the Shrimp Alexander and really enjoyed the dish. It came out quickly, and was delicious. Even though it had bacon on the shrimp, I enjoyed eating the clothesline shrimp at the same time. When in town, stop by and enjoy some amazing food and company. Keep up the great work Kix!

There was confusion from other patrons on if they were open since the front door was still locked. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The dining room is inviting, and the deck provides a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel like you're on vacation. The pizza was excellent and definitely the highlight of our meal. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our server frequently disappeared, and it took more than 25 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. There also wasn't a drink menu available, which made ordering more difficult and took more time. One other thing to keep in mind is the parking. The lot is very limited, and the spaces are quite tight, so arriving early is probably a good idea. Overall, the food and atmosphere were wonderful, but the slow service took away from what could have been an outstanding dining experience.

The atmosphere is low-key most of the time but on some evenings there is live music which can be pretty loud.
