Grandma's Sampler
Alicia M.

I dined here years ago and recently visited around 11am on a Friday. My, how has this place changed! The menu was extensive, to include some beer and wine options. Breakfast is served all day, but the lunch menu looked really good. I struggled with making a decision. I was shocked that the unlimited biscuits are no longer a thing here. Only certain meals get biscuits, and even then, they're not refilled. Our server was nice enough to bring us some even though they didn't come with the breakfast items that we ordered. I had the Grandma's Sampler and everything was good except the ham. It had a weird taste and I wondered if it was spoiled. Overall, the vibe of this location was a bit off but I'll continue to dine at other Cracker Barrel locations in the future.

For dinner, I requested the Tuesday special Chicken Fried Pork Chops but was told they just sold the last one. I selected my second choice of Fried Catfish Fillets with a Loaded Baked Potato but was told they are out of Baked Potatoes. Now I'm 0 for 2! After paying, I noticed the Loaded Baked Potato upcharge of $1.99 was on my bill! Now I'm charged for an item I didn't receive.

It's hard to come to the Cracker Barrel, and not have a great experience. The food is always awesome. The idea of a retail store is a brilliant concept. I've never had a bad experience with.

This is supposed to be chicken tenders,

I ordered chicken tenders and got a few pieces of fried skin, no meat Not coming back

Beautiful Decorations.

I always look for the holiday decorations when I enter Cracker Barrel. They always go above and beyond. This location was no different. We walked into a Christmas theme store front. The tree was huge and nicely decorated. It really did set the tone. We dined in and had breakfast. Terri our waitress was very pleasant and gave us the right amount of attention. We both had a light breakfast of eggs and bacon. We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant is practicing safety by having the tables separated and there is available hand sanitizer for customer use.

Just what you expect from a Cracker Barrel. Love the biscuits. The fried apples were delicious and the service was good.

The menu has quite a variety and something for everyone. I had the natura burger, waffle fries and fruit. Everything was delicious. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. This trip the place was slow and we were seated quickly in the front. The younger waitress did an okay job. She was very friendly and the food was acceptable. I asked what she recommended and she said the Mexican Breakfast I believe is what it was called. It wasn't a fancy Tex Mex type of a meal, nothing with beaucoup seasoning flair etc but I appreciated the simple authenticity of the meal. It was simple and really hit the spot. Also it was something I never would have ordered if she hadn't recommended it. I would have to agree as another reviewer mentioned, they could REALLY work on making things HOT rather than warm. Especially the coffee. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a mom and pop breakfast place with a reserved booth for staff where they hang out in the corner. I'm not sure if the overall service here improved or not yet tbh but the younger waitress did a much better job than my previous trips and I think they might have read some of the past reviews. I would like to leave 3.5 stars but that's not and option. To be fair I believe the young lady earned them more than 3 stars but I can't give this 4 stars so 3 it is.

We had already eaten lunch, so I didn't order any food, but we were able to enjoy the complimentary hot, fresh bread along with some great drinks. Of all the drinks we tried, the Golden Peach, Passion Fruit Martini, and the recommended Mini Beer Shots were my favorite. I also love that they use fresh fruit and ingredients in their beverages you can really taste the difference it made. We were able to sit at the bar that day and received great service from Ashlyn. She was very nice, personable, and attentive. She made the experience feel so welcoming and pleasant that we decided to go back the very next day with more family members. Unfortunately, our Saturday visit during the Hot August Stroll was a completely different experience. And it wasn't because of how busy things were or the events taking place. The issue was the inconsiderate service we received from our waitress, C. The service was so disappointing that I won't even go into detail, but it definitely changed my overall impression of the restaurant. Would I recommend One Thirteen? It really depends on what you're going for and, honestly, which server you happen to get. The ambiance is definitely one of the highlights. It's cute, colorful, pink, and very aesthetically pleasing. It would be a great spot for Happy Hour, birthdays, brunch, date night, or even a work gathering.

Last night I ordered the salmon salad and OH MY GOD - that may have been the most delicious salmon filet I've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to my preference. I usually order the tuna salad, which is also excellent. Last night I made a couple modifications to my salad (no candied pecans and no sugarcane vinaigrette), but when I received my plate I noticed the fresh berries and cheese were also missing. I mentioned it to my waitress and she immediately acted to fix it. I had my plate back in maybe two minutes. Things like that sort of go with the territory when you start requesting modifications, so I didn't blame her at all. Will be back. Always!

Service was a little slow but not terrible. Kids had grilled cheese and chicken tenders. GC was full of cheese and was on Texas toast. It was good. Chicken tenders seemed to be frozen style but weren't bad. I had Juci Hefer and I can say it's damn good. I did the parm truffle fries. They were good but weren't what I was expecting. One adult had the regular burger and he really liked it. GF had casual cow burger and she said it was okay but her fries were cold. Another adult had the grilled salad and it wasn't a hit. Draft beer was cold. Wednesdays are wing night, 20 for $25, and I saw a patron with wings and they looked delicious. I will definitely go back for wing night.

Nice and smooth, without the slightly harsh after taste you get from so many other coffees around. It's amazing! The service is far above average! Always friendly and extremely helpful. The volume is usually low on background music & customers talking, which adds to the mellow feel. Honestly, I can't find one thing wrong with this place. There's even a bagel menu, full of choices of your hungry. Great place to hang and work, read, chat, or just chill. I'd highly recommend it! Love this little place! Very eclectic and cool. The Staff is friendly and helpful. The crepes look delish (Although I didn't try one this time), and the coffee was amazing! Freshly made to order and served in cute sky blue cups. WiFi avail and low music in the background. There is also a small courtyard in the back and a few tables out front as well if you prefer to sit and enjoy the great outdoors. Lots of choices for coffee, teas, and yes Crepes (Which I'll be trying next time!!) I'll certainly be back! I'd recommend this little spot to all. Great to have coffee, relax, or just chill with your computer.
