Very disappointed, I had taken this class before and enjoyed it so I was willing to pay more even though CPR and More was offering it much cheaper, they are available on both dates and times but I chose to go with Cindy, a costly mistake.... I showed up at the address provided by Groupon as I was booking thru them, even asked if Cindy was willing to honor the price they posted cause she quoted me a different cost, When I got to the address provided by Groupon, it was empty, I emailed and tried to call Cindy to ask if there was another address, I didn't receive a response, I went to Yelp and found a different address and I showed up there which now made me 15 min late, I tried to explain to her what happened and that it was to no fault of mine, but she wasn't understanding at all, she said I wouldn't be allowed to stay in the class, she stated that all of the important information was already presented for the testing part, Really? The first 15 min of a 3 hour class?? I could see if the class was 30 min long, then that would completely make sense, she then told me she provided me with an email confirmation with the correct address on there, which she never did, then told me it would be unfair to restart a class over for the 16 people that were "on time" just for me, I told her that isn't at all what I expected but because this was a refresher course for me, I still retained a lot of the info and I could have stayed 15 min later to review what I missed, she in no way was willing to compensate me and didn't seem bothered by the fact that Groupon supplied the wrong address, at least I'll save money now taking the other companies course read more

If anyone has taken a cpr class, you know they are pretty dreadful. Not anymore! Cindys class was by far the best cpr/bls class I have taken and I have taken many. Usually the class is pretty informative and long. Her class was so engaging and she made the hours fly by! She is absolutely hilarious! I was laughing the entire time plus I was really learning! I renewed my BLS CPR with Cindy. She's fantastic. I have taken cpr before and by far Cindy is really great at teaching the class. since I have taken CPR before many of the information is the same. Only a few things have change. Also, we were not required to buy the book like other instructors make their students. Especially, when we don't even use the book because we have to watch the video and see demonstrations. I'm glad Cindy is repetitive, loud and enthusiastic. She demonstrates, we watch others demonstrate and then we demonstrate. This is the first time I was able to do everything. Prior cpr class we had to pretend to stick the pads from the AED and watch the Heimlich maneuver. This time I was able to perform all the practices. Each team had a chance to practice the AED by turning it on and placing the pads on to the mannequin. And the Heimlich isn't as easy as it looks either. Also, we had to wear this watch that's counts the compressions. Lights green if it's properly done and red if it's not. It's a workout and tiring. The class was fun and it went by fast. She makes jokes, give examples and corrects someone when it's not done properly. I recently moved to TX. However, visiting family during the summer. Hopefully in 2 years I can renew it with Cindy again. read more

Honestly one of the nicest, most hilarious, and most informative instructors I have EVER had, HANDS DOWN! Cindy kept the class relateable, fast-paced, and light. !!! I felt comfortable, but man, oh, man is she serious about her wanting you to be there 15 minutes early! I felt bad for the last girl that got the phone call asking where she was haha. !!! I was lucky enough to catch a deal on Groupon. It is only good for ONE course! I received my BLS with her and will be sure to go back to renew it in 2 years. Again, she's super funny, and she takes pride in her bathrooms, CHECK THEM OUT, they're great. Fun fact, she's highly allergic to peas and has asthma. She started wheezing because she was talking so fast! Though, I was probably the only one that noticed (asthma sufferers unite!) LOL. I had a great experience at CPR Cindy's and learned a great deal during the course. I needed BLS for healthcare providers and this was American Heart Association certified. Cindy was very engaging, funny, and direct which kept the class entertaining but educational at the same time. She really wanted us to be hands-on and practice BLS which I really appreciated. I have taken other BLS courses and they usually just throw us the information needed to pass the test taken at the end of the course, but getting the practice time (even when the class was full) was great. We finished in about 1.5 hours and so if you need BLS and don't want to spend the whole day in a BLS class, I would highly recommend her course. Also, I would arrive 15-20 minutes before class to make sure you arrive on time because she will not let anyone else in the class if they're late (so it doesn't distract the class when it starts). read more

I was not looking forward to having to give up my evening after work to get my BLS certification renewal. Cindy put on a great class. She was animated, experienced, and told personal accounts which made the evening go well. The class was hands-on, followed her demonstrations, and also included short videos. Her equipment was really good and I really liked the wrist bands that turned colors to provide students feedback on their CPR techniques. This was new to me and helped me dial in the right cadence and depth of chest compressions. I highly recommend Cindy's class. Bonus- no need to buy a separate training manual. read more
