This was a wonderful course! I have taken CPR courses in the past typically with Red Cross and this class blew those out of the water. Cindy truly makes you feel super prepared for any situation (especially after all of her stories). You can tell she tries hard to make her class as interesting and to the point as possible while still giving you all of the information you need. I would recommend this class to anyone out there. I was not looking forward to having to give up my evening after work to get my BLS certification renewal. Cindy put on a great class. She was animated, experienced, and told personal accounts which made the evening go well. The class was hands-on, followed her demonstrations, and also included short videos. Her equipment was really good and I really liked the wrist bands that turned colors to provide students feedback on their CPR techniques. This was new to me and helped me dial in the right cadence and depth of chest compressions. I highly recommend Cindy's class. Bonus- no need to buy a separate training manual. read more

She keeps the class entertained with her humor, stories and scenarios that relate to the information you need to learn and retain. She's very knowledgeable and knows her stuff down to the T. I really enjoyed this class, I recommend it to anyone looking for a fairly easy cpr, first aid, etc class. Cindy makes it super interesting and easy to learn. She's also hilarious! This is my 2nd time getting re-certified and my 3rd overall CPR/1st Aid/AED class. My first class was boring and monotonous -- we just went over every page in the handbook slowly. My second class was useless because the instructor wanted to fast track everything, so we skipped a lot of stuff and didn't learn much. Neither of those classes were ideal and most of us left them confused and less prepared than when we arrived. So Cindy's CPR class is a breath of fresh air! It's concise and to the point, and she does an excellent job of keeping things lively while still being educational. Most people are quiet and nervous, so her jokes helped create a welcoming atmosphere, despite the awkward and fake laughs. Plus the prices are amazing. My only complaint is that she chargers a few extra dollars if you pay with card, but doesn't warn you of that ahead of time. I would have brought cash had I known. But still - less than $60 for a full certification that doesn't take an entire day to complete? Sign me up! I HIGHLY recommend the class and will definitely be back in 2 yrs. read more

I should have listened to the negative comment on the Yelp review! I texted Cindy on Monday morning asking if she has "a class tomorrow night at 6pm?" and she texted back "Yes, want to come in?". And we both confirmed it and she told me to come in at 5:45pm -no late entry allowed, etc. I was there today at 5:45pm. I became nervous when 6pm comes as I remember the negative review of one yelp reviewer that Cindy did not show up, no apologies whatsoever and was even blaming the reviewer for not confirming, not taking ownership of her own mistake, The same negative experience happened to me!!! What a waste of my time!!! Very unprofessional! I texted Cindy and she explained that she only had confirmation from 2 people and she got back to them last night. And she goes on about this instructor blah blah. I reminded Cindy to check our text conversation coz she did not inform me of the cancellation. This time she reasoned that she had me down for next week. Really? I was asking "tomorrow night" and Cindy confirmed and put me for "next week"?? So unprofessional, what kind of a business is this?? read more
