Third, my husband and I both found that the pizza was not greasy at all, and the quality was really top, which most pizza places are soaked in grease and super salty and or just plain old not good quality. I was impressed enough to call them after my meal and give them a thumbs up for the good food. It made my pizza experience feel "healthy" a once in a lifetime so far and I'm 52! Lol. First thing to know is that most people probably come in thinking it's just a pizzeria, but my group came with the knowledge that it's also a board game cafe. You will know once you walk into the dining room and see shelves of card and board games. With that in mind, food was secondary to us. Having a huge collection of board games to enjoy for hours while someone serving you food and drinks was a bonus. The fact that their pizza and caesar salad were all tasty was a plus. I visit Vancouver regularly to see my goddaughters. They both love board games and pizza, so how perfect is this place for us. We have been here a couple time before and we'll be back.

I found this restaurant on Skip The Dishes, whilst browsing for late night eats on Canada Day. I…read moresaw that they take care of their own delivery, something that I respect for some reason, AND delivery was free after a certain price point, another thing that I love. I went with the Hawaiian pizza, my favourite since childhood. A lot of places don't do Hawaiians to my taste, so it can be a bit of a gamble. Then, seeing as I'd had the pleasant experience of discovering mango lassi a few months ago from another place, I added that to my selection, as well as a nicely priced personal butter chicken meal. To balance out the drinks tray, and to test their authenticity, I threw on an Indian chai. 45 minutes after hitting "order" I had a delicious meal in my hands, I think delivered by the owner himself. He was SO courteous and professional, the best courier experience I've ever had. I did expect a decent level of treatment after tipping well (Happy Canada Day!), but this was on another level. Skip The Dishes ought to know how fortunate they are to have such a lovely business on their list. The Hawaiian pizza was beautiful, no pools of grease(!), sliced with care, and just generally a Google Image of the word pizza. I'll admit I haven't tasted it yet - I'm too full from that delectable butter chicken to even think about pizza! I took a sip of the mango lassi, which had a good level of bite, and the chai passed my sniff test, but they along with the pizza sit in the fridge waiting for tomorrow. It seems I have breakfast figured out :) I hope to have the pleasure of dining in one day soon! Thank you for the great food and the best service, Pizza Pizzeria!

If you've tried Villages Pizza on Edmonds St. in Burnaby (which is sadly no longer around), the crust is comparable to that. Villages Pizza was our neighbourhood favorite and we were heartbroken when it closed. So happy to have tried New West Pizza. The crust was so wonderfully crisp, and the cheese was sooo gooey! It's the closest to Villages Pizza crust that we've found. Slightly further off for us so we probably won't be able to have it as often as we had Villages Pizza. It was soooo good though so we will definitely order it again sometime!
