Sal is the best!! We didn't realize they had moved their operation closer to Graham Hill, but found it 10 minutes to 4pm. (Heads up-they close at 4) Sal was was accommodating and patient as he let us load up on the driest wood around. This is quality wood, as we have dealt with many other firewood services who had no qualms about giving us a majority of rotten and wet pieces mixed in with our orders. Not Cozy!!! We went camping a Big Basin. This firewood was pretty inexpensive we got a whole truck load for about $250. Saul was amazing he had amazing customer service my husband and I enjoyed speaking with him. They do not short you at all. He gave us more than I know we paid for. He was beyond accommodating . My usual supplier ran out of wood early this year so I had a cord delivered yesterday form Cozy Firewood. Very nice people, on time, good product and it was a full cord. Unlike other customers on Yelp, I found them to be a bit expensive. $580 ($500 for the cord + $80 delivery) for a chord of oak & almond delivered but not stacked, and that was with a cash discount. I live 3 miles form the business. The good thing about these guys is that they appear to have wood all winter long which is nice. read more

There's a ton of oak and other huge logs to be cut up yet, I went to get it myself but I know for a fact that they deliver and stack for a small fee. Very good price on the firewood. Had to get half a cord delivered to a vacation home outside of Santa Cruz. Had trouble scheduling with other firewood deliverers but Grace was great. Good wood, not a bad price, and they stacked it nicely. Highly recommend. read more

A year ago we bought our first significant delivery. It was evident we had never purchased firwood before, except for the occasional small bundles. We were sold a half cord for 280$, and upon delivery a week later, realized that at least 2/3 of the pile was non-split. Anyways, wasn't going there again. Just received a delivery of a half cord from another vendor. It was under 200$, delivered in under 24 hours, and in TOTAL, there are just 5 unsplit logs. Better yet, after stacking, it turns out I had received far less than a half cord last year. If you want to be taken for suckers, go there. Then again, their business must not be based on repeat customers. read more

I choose another firewood service last year, and now I know what a big mistake that was - never again will I go anywhere else other than Cozy to have firewood delivered. I ordered a 1/4 cord, and the owners (yes, the owners themselves came to deliver) gave me well above a 1/4 cord. And, the wood was exceptionally seasoned, ready to go. Poor communication, breach of contract. Who sits on a check for months without depositing it? I lost $500 for one half cord of wood I needed for heating. This is disastrous for a senior on low fixed income. Funds for heating are paid directly from agencies. When these funds are mishandled they can not be reissued and are gone forever leaving a family out in the cold. Cozy was informed of this in advance. Instead of relating to my angst when I learned about the un-deposited funds she got extremely angry and defensive: "What I do with my check is none of your business" . Only selfish people with an utter lack of compassion would harm a senior like this especially during a state of emergency. Cozy is operating under an exemption from the county health department claiming to be an "essential service". With this exemption comes the legal obligation to serve everyone equally without regard to source of income. I made several polite attempts at resolution by phone but she abruptly and rudely disconnects. The best thing will be if she calls to make this right. If so I will quickly update the review. read more

Half cord of wood ordered. There was more than enough wood. It was nice to have the wood delivered the same day. However 3/4 or more of the wood was all wet. It looks as if the wood was in the rain not covered very well. I had to separate the wood so the dry stuff was on top. The service was nice except for the poor wood needed to burn and the high price plus a delivery fee. Natural heat who we normally use was out of wood for the winter for obvious reasons. better wood and very dry read more
