Ok Angela waited on us she was really good may have to steal her - Now the food- I live in Houston home of Tex Mex but this is Mexican - I have been to Mexico many times and the food is rather bland and so was this food - I expected flavor but it is Ohio - spice it up use Adobo and Sazon and Sofrito - it was the blandest food ever. But the service was excellent!!

Every Cozumel I go to.. tastes exactly the same. I am a completely addicted to their salsa. To go 32oz salsa.. 7-10 monies. Worth every penny. I never purchase salsa anywhere else The beans... wowzass!! Depth of flavor, spice level and texture perfection. Patio seating open. Margs flowing. Good food at a good price.

Fajita Rice Bowl Special - chicken with rice and peppers (4 Dec. 2023)

I visited in early December 2023 with a date. We weren't planning to go here but it was an impromptu find. We both had just come from a local gym together and we were really hungry so this was the closest restaurant on our drive back. We spotted Cozumel in my date's car as we drove so we quickly pulled in. The restaurant is large and it wasn't very busy when we arrived so we were seated right away. I had their Fajita Rice Bowl Special which is chicken with rice and peppers. It tasted just okay but I could barely finish my meal. The chicken wasn't as tender and it didn't have much flavour in it. I could barely eat the rice because my whole plate was covered in salsa. The green peppers were fine but tasted slightly mushy. My date had the better meal even though I didn't try it but he offered me a piece. I think I just tasted one or two pieces of the vegetables in his tacos and they were good. He ordered the Veggie Tacos Special (3 pieces) which are vegetarian tacos on a soft shell with vegetables on them such as avocado and broccoli. The tacos had a little salsa in them and came with a side of sauce (I don't know what sauce). Each dish cost under $15, I think. My date paid so I can't remember the cost of the Fajita Rice Bowl Special and the Veggie Tacos Special. As for drinks, I just got a glass of water and my date got a beer. Overall, this is a casual Mexican restaurant with quick and friendly service. I'll have to try something else from their menu next time, if I come back. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 40/150 total reviews in 2024 - 690 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 2 June 2024

Very excited to try Cozumel for the first time because a new one is coming to my neighborhood in Cleveland Heights soon. Had no idea what to expect, and was completely blown away by the cleanliness, the speedy lunch service, the attentiveness of the wait staff despite how crowded it was, the delicious meal I had - chicken fajita quesadilla with beans. My nephew suggested the queso and I'm so glad we got it - silky, smooth, and delicious. I can't wait for the new Cozumel to come to the end of my block. It might be dangerously close if it's at all as great as the Lakewood site is.

My husband and I dined at Cozumel, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The Mexican food served here isn't authentic Mexican cuisine, however, it's quite enjoyable for Americanized Mexican food. All of the food was flavorful. I really enjoyed their salsa which is on the thicker side but not overly chunky. The atmosphere has a casual vibe. The waiter was attentive and the food arrived in a timely manner. My husband had a lime margarita which he said was a good mix of sweet and tart. The prices are very reasonable for the portions.

Food and service were quick even though the whole place was packed. Very cute decor. I will definitely be back again. Probably some of the best soft corn shell tacos I have had. Everything was so fresh and tasty.

The restaurant is large and open with a nice bar area with ample seating. Very vibrant and colorful. Everything was excellent. The server brought a basket of warm tortilla chips and a large bowl of salsa to our table. I ordered the Pollo Costeño with spanish rice on the side. It was a flat grilled chicken breast topped with bacon, cheese, and pineapple, such an outstanding combination of flavors. The sweet pineapple with the savory bacon and melted cheese worked so well together. It was slightly salty for my personal taste, but overall still very good. It came with guacamole, tomato, and lettuce on the side. I would've loved if it included flour tortillas to turn it into a wrap, but that's just a personal preference. My husband ordered the fajita burrito, and it was huge! He absolutely loved it and said it was packed with flavor. It was so big he even had leftovers to bring home. One of my sons ordered the tamale with rice and black beans combo, and my other son kept it simple with two à la carte bean burritos with queso cheese on top served with refried beans and Spanish rice on the side. Overall, it was a great family dinner with flavorful food and generous portions. We all took leftovers home. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

What billionaire is renting mahalls on a Saturday night. We ended up walking around Lakewood only to hear a place bumping music. Turns out it was taco tantos. We walked in and vibes were electric. Pokemon playing on the TV. Staff hustling and trying to make everyone happy. Burrito whiffed in the air. We sat down and ordered a smorgasbord and of course a Pacifico (the only place in Cleveland I've seen appreciate having Pacifico stocked). Being from SoCal I'm a bit of a burrito connoisseur. Cilantro satisfies. Ohio City is pretty good. But TT itches the urge for a burrito. Sauces are scrumptious. Not many places get the correct toastyness of the tortilla blanket. There's earlier reviews that say they're unimpressed with the food, but they ordered a fucking rice and bean taco. Of course ur not gonna be impressed by a rice and bean taco silly goose. Order the steak burrito. Add jalapeños. Drink a Pacifico. Call it a night. Thank you TT.
