One of the biggest burritos I have ever had. We ordered online. Service was quick and friendly. I have never had potatoes in my burrito before, but I absolutely loved it.

Come here. You won't regret it. I'm from out of town and stopped at Oktobers, saw this recommended in their brochure. I'm so happy I did! The queso was DELICIOUS! Steak taco was so large I couldn't even finish. Steak was juicy and the cheese with it sealed the deal. Ingredients tasted and looked fresh. Portions were great for the price. My meal was under $20 and I am more than satisfied. Would make time to stop here again if I'm ever around. Also happened to be stuck here during a tornado warning August 6, and there was no notion of being kicked out, more so security that we would be led to the basement. Thank you!

This place was a cute LITTLE Mexican restaurant right on Madison Ave! We got sat right away (which was nice) but once we got our waters... it seemed like we were being rushed a bit to order and eat fast! I ordered a steak taco and got a bunch of add ons (as you can see in the picture... and yes it was hard to eat)! The taco itself was VERY delicious, i recommend getting the two layer taco for a different (but fun) twist on a taco!! I also got a side of their smoked chipotle sauce.... also amazing... but only if you can handle the heat! (you have been warned) and to wash my delicious taco down I got a house margarita which was VERY refreshing!! definitely recommend ordering this at least once... but you might want more! My friend picked the strawberry margarita which was also yummy!! After we were finished eating, we were asked to move to the end of the bar to finish our drinks so they could seat someone else to eat... which makes sense and really wasn't a big deal but we were almost done & kinda rushed the whole time..so it would've been nice just to give us 5 extra mins! All in all, it was a a good & delicious time creating our own tacos! I would deff recommend going and giving it a try... maybe when it isn't so busy though!!

Taco Tantos is a GREAT independent with a hard working staff. I came in the evening on Thursday 4-18-24 around 5:00pm. I came for the Cleveland Scene Magazine Taco Week promotion. The chips and queso were homemade.

If this place was offering free food I would pass. Store bought guacamole, flavorless taco, and almost zero meat in my burrito. The margarita was ok, but for almost $10 it sure better be. This place should be ashamed of itself. Find somewhere else for your Mexican needs. Taco Bell would be better than going to this place. So so so bad. I cannot stress this enough.

For ladies night out we wanted tacos so we decided to check them out. The spot is cute and quaint with nice art all around the walls. Our waitress was so nice she answered all our questions and helped us pick the best items on the menu. We all had the fajitarito which was bomb. It was so flavorful and fresh and a great portion size. I also ordered a queso dip and guacamole which was delicious and creamy. I tried the strawberry margarita and it was strong and tasty. I left feeling so satisfied I could have taken a nap. It was definitely good eating.

We are huge fans of Taco Tontos. I can hardly ever get my husband out for what we call 'boutique Mexican'- he cant stand the tiny tacos because he needs like 5 to fill up. So we tried this place and we both found a menu we love! Hubby raves about the cheeseburger burrito- this enough to sustain his appetite! Very flavorful and generous portion. I was not paying attention and thought these would be small tacos, so I way over-ordered. Whoops But everything I tried was fabulous. On a second trip, I devoured a fish taco that satisfied my craving. Queso, guacamole, salsas--- all amazing. We totally love this place!

I've been a fan of Taco Tontos for years. Just recently went for the first time in forever. Some things remained the same and some things changed. I'm happy that their great quality food and menu has remained the same. I saw old favorites and some new items that interested me. I had my teenaged daughter with me, who opted for the El Biggo Nachos. She gets nachos everywhere, but these impressed her. I sampled and trust me I will be getting them next time. She chose her toppings so they were just right. I got my usual steak burrito with all my favorite players including sweet potato. Just as I remembered. Perfect. Unfortunately, what did not remain the same as I remembered is the service. Nothing was wrong with our order. The staff just wasn't very friendly. I felt like I was interrupting something. We stood at the counter while the kitchen staff peered at us for a few minutes. No hello or welcome, just stares. Someone else came along and helped us, but the energy was the same. Very off putting. I'm really hoping it was just an off day. However, it is why I cannot give them more stars. We took our food to go.

Very small place but nicely appointed. I didn't realize you had to add things to your burritos. Keep it in mind. If it's your first time, ask the server how to properly order.

I was very impressed with the food here! The food and drinks are excellent! This has quickly become one of my favorite Mexican places in the area. It is very obvious that the food and drinks are prepared from scratch and fresh daily. I decided to go with the cheese-burgerito which is pretty much a burger and cheeseburger in one. I love Mexican food and typically go with just a chicken burrito but I decided to go with something different and fell in love. The quesadillas are also large and can be split between two people. The prices are great and the atmosphere is very welcoming! The best part is that you can add any toppings you want to your meal (for an extra charge). The margaritas are also really good.

Disgusting queso so thick and hard it sticks to the dish like cement

A half a star wouldn't be appropriate for this spot or their service.I have been hearing about this spot and their tacos from my friend. He had stopped in previously while on his lunch with a coworker. We decided to meet last Tuesday.I arrived before him, after driving around trying to find a parking spot,so I wouldn't have to take a shuttle bus just to get to the spot.I walked in and there were two women at the bar,the tables were empty,I was not greeted or if I was it was spoken so low I couldn't hear it.I had to ask,"do I just seat myself " the female employee,I won't call her a server (that would be giving her way to much credit) she said something inaudible about happy hour, but since she didn't make an attempt to give me a menu or seat me,I sat myself by the window, now I'm not feeling the vibes in this place nor the energy from the female employee..I sat at that table and watched her talk to the only two patrons at the bar,go in the back and come back to still continue to talk to the two at the bar.I said"excuse me,do I have to come to the bar to order"? Hell I didn't know,my first time here, and definitely my last. She begrudgingly came over, with no menu no chips and salsa like every Mexican spot I have ever been to does. She said "do you know what you want"? " It took everything beneath my soul to reply "Yeah to get the fuck outta here" She brought a menu and I asked for a frozen strawberry margarita, she said,"we don't have a blender" Damn!! I ordered one on ice and and some queso. BIG MISTAKE!!!!' On both of them. The queso looked so unappetizing and the margarita was weak and horrible!!! So I attempted to dip a chip into the queso which was almost impossible because it was so dry, thick and absolutely disgusting!!!,as though they had the pot sitting by the sink to scrape in the garbage. My dude came in and he could see the disgusting look on my face. She finally came back and he ordered what he ordered the time before, the double taco or something like that for here because he's been bragging on this to me,and then he ordered a steak and chicken burrito to go.I asked the employee,"is this the way this queso supposed to look"? I don't remember what she said other than she'll take it off the bill. She asked me"what am I having" I replied NOTHING!!! Finally he got his taco he enjoyed it.That's good.We didn't have to ask for the check, she brought that over expeditiously, probably thinking these two African Americans will do a dine & dash.I didn't see the check to see if she took that shit they called queso off the bill.Never ever in my life!!!! I will stick to my usual Don Ramon's because they have a blender and the best queso I have ever tasted along with complimentary & unlimited chips and salsa,,and friendly servers who make you feel welcomed.

A nice little restaurant in Lakewood. 10x better then Chipotle. The food was delicious.

Large queso for $6.50 not worth the price.

Any place that grills / bakes the burrito after making it, giving the tortilla a bit of a crunch is good in my book.

I spotted Cozumel and decided to give it a try. I recently moved to the Cleveland area and have been missing my go-to neighborhood Mexican restaurant back home. Cozumel hit that exact note. I sat at the bar, and everyone working there was wonderfully kind and welcoming. It's a classic, no-frills Mexican restaurant, and the food was spectacular. I ordered my usual go-to since I don't eat much: a taco and refried beans. The flavors were banging--comforting, familiar, and genuinely delicious. It honestly made me feel at home. I was fed, happy, and out the door in perfect time for salsa. I'll absolutely be back

The bean & cheese enchiladas were a bit too cheesy for me. At the end of the meal, staff gathered with sombreros for those celebrating birthdays at our table. The restaurant is large and open with a nice bar area with ample seating. Very vibrant and colorful. Everything was excellent. The server brought a basket of warm tortilla chips and a large bowl of salsa to our table. I ordered the Pollo Costeño with spanish rice on the side. It was a flat grilled chicken breast topped with bacon, cheese, and pineapple, such an outstanding combination of flavors. The sweet pineapple with the savory bacon and melted cheese worked so well together. It was slightly salty for my personal taste, but overall still very good. It came with guacamole, tomato, and lettuce on the side. I would've loved if it included flour tortillas to turn it into a wrap, but that's just a personal preference.
