They even had crayons and a coloring page for kids at the table. The food portions are generous and can be shared. The chips and salsa were so good! Staff were great about refilling salsa & chips when we needed. The veggie fajitas came out sizzling hot. Very good! We ordered black beans instead of refried. A great option for sharing between two. The bean & cheese enchiladas were a bit too cheesy for me. At the end of the meal, staff gathered with sombreros for those celebrating birthdays at our table. They sang happy birthday and brought a complimentary sweet treat. A nice way to end our meal. Free parking lot. Restrooms available. They have a few locations in the CLE area too!

We figured it was similar to other mexican restaurants in the area, as the menus are alike. We often frequent Cozumel in Brunswick or Cleveland. I was gobsmacked at how expensive Gran Fiesta was, comparatively. My tres Marias enchiladas were $22, Fire burrito $19, and a bowl of cheese was $12. not fundido- no additions- just cheese was $12. Our bill was wrong and we were charged for a burrito we didn't order, but our bill for two people: queso, 2 entrees, a daiquiri, a Pepsi was $74. WOW. that being said, my Tres Marias enchiladas were very good. I got chicken and I was pleased to see the chicken was fresh grilled. Juicy, flavorful, and plentiful. I've seen shredded chicken in enchiladas and this was much, much better. I like the different sauces. It was presented nicely and everything was served hot. My hubby said his fire burrito was good, but not quite as good as the one he gets at Cozumel. Our server was good. Fast, friendly. Food came out as expected. manager checked on us. Seated quickly. Good experience. The restaurant was very hot and stuffy, but it was a very hot day in Cleveland. Wondering if they were having HVAC issues. No moving air. The food and experience take a backseat to the price, and next time I'm craving Mexican we are unlikely to return to Gran Fiesta.

Every table and booth was full, and I'm pretty sure we got the last available table! As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by our server and brought warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa. The chips were warm and crispy, and the salsa tasted fresh and flavorful, a great start to the meal. I ordered the Camaron al Mojo de Ajo, which came with large shrimp, rice, and grilled zucchini, tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was excellent and exactly what I was in the mood for. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were a great complement. My husband ordered the Big Burrito Norteno, a 10-inch flour tortilla stuffed with pork, chorizo, grilled onions, jalapeños, beans, and cheese, then topped with cheese sauce and a mild green sauce. He said it was outstanding, packed with flavor, and incredibly filling. My son stuck with his favorite; 2 bean burritos with refried beans inside, white queso on top, and a side of rice. He enjoyed every bite. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the service was efficient, and the food came out promptly. I would definitely return and order the Camaron al Mojo de Ajo again!

I want to start with my surprise at the previous review...this was certainly NOT the experience we had at all! We have visited many Mexican Taquerias and Restaurants in Avon and surrounding areas and this is right at the top of our list. We also love to support family owned businesses! When we first walked in we were impressed by the clean and modern interior. It was so tastefully done with some fun and interesting art work. The vibe was casual, which makes for the perfect spot for a great meal with TV's and music. We loved the touch screen order stations, it makes it easier to really see all that is offered (including photos) without holding up the line. There is also in person ordering at the counter if you prefer. The menu is extensive and they also have daily specials. Our food was ready quickly and we dug right in (this is why we forgot to take photos of the food!). We both ordered bowls that we were able to customize with any items that we wanted. The selection of proteins, toppings, salsas, sauces, etc. was impressive and so delicious! The portions were great and everything looked and tasted fresh. Our only small complaint would be the price of a soda. We paid $3.73 for a 20 oz. bottle of Coke. We wouldn't mind paying that amount if it were a refillable soda station, which they don't have. Just a little expensive for a plastic bottle of soda. On the flipside, they do have a station with cups and water available! This will definitely be our Avon go-to for Mexican food!
