Dealing with insurance, manufacturers, custom parts and a comic cascade of communication which went best in person, second best via direct email and off the rails a little with phone or disparate emails with third parties. However, Rick hung in there and while I sometimes may appear unreasonable, I'm not. I'm often just too curious for my own good. Yet in this situation because of Rick's tenacity and desire for customer satisfaction we got there. Rick came up with an unconventional way to provide the desired outcome, and I hope his shop is still around should I need any work on my RV in years to come.

We had one request that they limit the driving of third-party people in the motorhome to ensure that it does not break as soon as we requested that their manager called and said we do not want to take your motor motorhome. because we don't want the responsibility if somebody test drives it and they break it and we have to return it broken. That's not our responsibility. The whole thing seemed like a sham the sales person wanted to take the motorhome. We were offering at a very low price below wholesale so they could make a profit and simply because we were reluctant about how they handled test drives. Their manager, came in and refused to accept the motorhome. That tells us that there's something fishy or smelly going on at this particular Ventura RV motorhome, and therefore we would not recommend it based on our personal experience and our personal interaction that we had with the variety of people at their facility

They walked us through everything from beginning to end and even helped me find the perfect site! You can tell they are very passionate about camping/outdoors and truly just want to share that same passion with their renters. We couldn't have asked for a better RV, and when they said just bring food and clothes, they meant it and I wish I would've listened because everything I packed, they already had in the RV, down to the first aid kit. We absolutely loved the personal touches they do for their renters, they were very thoughtful and even left goodies for our kids. The RV comfortably fit all 8 of my family including 3 kids and we had more than enough space. With everything going on right now cleanliness was a priority and they did not disappoint, the RV was super clean and that made us feel very comfortable. Both Kaelyn and Tristan made themselves available for us to reach in case we had any questions during our stay. Overall great people to work with. My two brothers and I spent the long Thanksgiving weekend in Solvang and decided to end our trip…read morewith an ATV tour in the Santa Barbara mountains before heading back to L.A. Best decision ever! Although getting to the meeting point was a bit scary as we drove 15 mph through winding roads next to steep cliffs, the views were nice and the ATV experience was totally worth it! We gave ourselves plenty of time to get lost and it took us about 1.5 hours to get to the checkpoint. Luckily Google Maps was on the entire time and we even had an hour to kill on top of the mountain before our 12:30pm appointment. (Also had screenshots of the directions in case we lost service). Upon arrival, we met with the two girls who were wearing face masks and face shields so we felt safe. They had all the sanitizing stuff. They checked us all in, gave us each a mesh covering for our head, pairs of gloves, goggles and helmets. They offered different insurance plans (just like a rental car company), each ranging in price. Then, they walked us over to the ATVs where Jorge was our tour guide. He asked us if we've ever rode before and taught us how to use the automatic ATVs and made us feel comfortable and safe. (Throttle was on the right handle bar and brakes on the left. Second brake was a foot pedal). We drove on wide and narrow trails, over some fun rocky areas, kicking up lots of dust, and he took photos of us the entire time. This was a great family bonding experience and we're all still talking about how fun it was and want to do it again. Know Before You Go: It gets dusty so wear clothes and closed toe shoes that you're ok getting dirty. Give yourself plenty of time to drive to the location because the last thing you want to do is rush through the scary mountain roads. 10/10 would definitely do this again!
